JUST TO BE CLEAR all gamblers are aware that you can and probably will lose money on these sites. However this is the most unprofessional and fraudulent of them all I believe they are the same as paddy power who also have terrible customer service. When you want to delete your account it is impossible you have to jump through several hoops and go to a online chat and send emails. This should be illegal as if you decide to delete account on gambling site it should be accessible.They highly unprofessional and not worth depositing your money with. Stay away!

Settled my bet incorrectly and are refusing to pay out. I’ve been on chat from 13.23 and still currently waiting at 18.12. So many deflection tactics, being bounced from agent to agent. Now they’ve stopped responding altogether

absolute cowboys! made 2 withdrawals on the 4th of august to the amount of £550 never recieved payment have provided all evidence to say payment not recieved ie letter from bank statements etc not getting anywhere with them surely it must be illegal to withhold my winnings for this long just keep getting fobbed off with the line oh payments are looking in to this i am actually seriously considering seeking legal advice soon.

Awful customer service. Rude and arrogant. Firstly run by paddy power similar experience. They first tried to cheat me out of a win last year where I had to send evidence a player had a shot on target. Similar this year although guess what they asked me to email their escalations team. On a defunct email address so wasn’t going to get a reply, truly awful lying company. Do not use.

On 26th May 2022 I contacted Betfair through their messaging service regarding an uncashed cheque for £9000.00 and sent them a copy.I asked them to make a payment to my bank account .I then proceeded over the next seven weeks to send message after message through their messaging service requesting payment to no avail.I then received an email from Marina in the payments customer service team on 18th July offering sincere apologies for the delay and time consumed in this matter.As she requested I forwarded my bank details on the return email as advised.(Although Betfair have these details registered on my account).After a few days I had not received payment and sent a further five emails without success.I then resorted to the messaging service again detailing what had transpired sending numerous messages over the last four weeks and despite being told that payment was being made I still have not received the funds.You cannot contact Betfair by telephone or email as you could in the past.Only this appalling messaging service.I have kept copies of my thread on the messaging service which if the papers or a journalist got hold of would have a field day.I have grave concerns that Betfair may have financial problems hence this appalling sisuation.

Due to my email address becoming dead, I filed a new email with Betfair, this promptly resulted in my account being suspended with funnily enough my winnings now out of reach.I have found BF to be largely uncontactable and thus no help in resolving the situation, which is of their making. Betfair please respond to your customers and assist with the shambles that you offer as customer service.

Customer service is beyond terrible. They are rude, sarcastic, refuse to register complaints, hang up on you with impunity as they know that the next agent (or manager in my case) will simply refuse to raise a complaint.The root cause of the complaint was their cancellation of a withdrawal with no explanation. Spent 2 and a half hours, two agents hung up, then manager told me they had no process to complain about staff, which is obviously why the staff feel like they can abuse customers with impunity. He offered me a fiver free bet to resolve the issue.Was so frustrated I wrote to the Managing Director. Was told a member of leadership team would be in touch. A week later, they haven’t bothered. Someone from customer service got in touch to contradict everything I was previously told. Total shambles, industry worst customer service.

Deposited £20 and played for a few days winning £160 in total. Withdrew the original £20 and an extra £30 from my winnings leaving the rest in to withdraw later / play with. Attempted to log into my account today but access denied. Contacted customer service who asked for ID – sent ID over and then was informed that they had closed my account down under their Terms & conditions for no apparent reason and they was unable to tell me why and that I could not appeal this decision. Asked about my winnings and was informed that I would not be entitled to it, they would keep £140 and I would get my original £20 back via my original payment method once everything was “sorted out” I’ve kept a copy of the transcript and will continue to badger until I get my £20 deposit back! Would not recommend them.

Literally cheated me out of winnings on their exchange.I stuck £30 I had in my account on Midtjylland vs AEK Larnaca when it was 0-0 at odds of like 2.38. Larnaca then went ahead, so I threw something of a hissy fit and deposited and bet £70 on Midtjylland at 28.0 chasing my initial loss in the 82nd minute. Stupid loss chasing aside, £30 OR £100 as a loss is nothing really as I don’t place that many bets.Anyway, I use Bet365 to watch games as their website is much better for this than Betfair, 365 were offering around 20.0 at the time I matched at 28.0, so matching at odds of 28 on exchanges when “normal bookies” offer 20ish is pretty standard.Anyway, 84th minute and Midtjylland equalise. I take £250 back at around 4.0, meaning if Midtjylland go on to win I’m around £1100 up, if they draw or even lose, I’m up £150.Midtjylland get a corner, betting is suspended. I actually get my hopes up I’m winning over a grand with betting being suspended while “my team” are taking a corner. But 365 don’t suspend betting, nothing out of the ordinary here, inconsistency between market suspensions is a thing. 365 at NO point suspend, because NOTHING of any note actually happened in the match.Boom, 5 minutes later, the bets post 1-0 that give me profits between £150 and £1100 are VOIDED. NO Good reason. No suspect VAR events in the game, it’s a CL qualifier so not a “massive” game, but also not some 5th tier Icelandic match where anything suspect could actually have taken place. 365 odds reflected the Betfair exchange ones more than fairly. Worth adding I could still have cashed out for over £300 when this took place. Another thing worth noting was that almost 35 minutes after the final whistle, these bets still hadn’t settled, something clearly went wrong on Betfair’s side. They try to fob me off with a £30 free bet covering my initial loss… A £30 free bet when they’ve stolen a £150 win? No thanks!I am/was a loyal Betfair customer. Had to delete a 5 star review to add this one. It “almost hurts” because Betfair appeared to be one of only a couple of the tons of bookies that seemed trustworthy but this was absolutely pathetic.If you can’t trust a Bookie to honour their bets, especially on an EXCHANGE where the odds are against other users and bots, they’re beyond worthless. I took the case to IBAS and I’m sure Betfair won’t have to pay out because they quoted their terms and conditions a couple of times. There was an EIGHT MINUTE window where every bet placed was voided, and NOTHING of note happened in the game. Odds through those 8 minutes reflected their competing bookmakers more than fairly.If you can’t trust a bookie to do the bare minimum and not welch on bets…. avoid. Avoid like the plague

My account got closed down for no reason.I won £8 and decided to withdraw it as a gift card for the first time. I never received it and a minute later I get an email saying my account had been closed due to “business grounds”? I contact customer service, assuming it was a mistake. They told me it’s not up for revision and they won’t even tell me what exactly caused them to close it. I wasn’t even given my money or the gift card. Scam much?

I’ve used Betfair for nearly 10 years and I trust them. Do not accept ANYTHING that automatically entails wager requirements. ALSO, before you play, call them to make sure there’s nothing THEY need that might stop your winnings being sent to you. Apart from that, good luck and don’t cry if you lose. I followed the complaints procedure fully but to no avail from betfair. I’ve also complained to resolver and the ibas but still to no avail. Generally poor all around. The user interface doesn’t refresh enough – bets are matched but don’t refresh. When contacting support about this they blame ‘technology’. The commission is too expensive. They have a daily free game on bingo but it hardly ever wins. I cant find my bets in the interface after I have placed them. I would recommend Matchbook or Smarkets any day. @Betfair – you need to pull your socks up!

AVOID. I try to log in. My accounts been suspended for safer gaming. I go to live chat and left waiting for 45 minutes,. I’m passed from one agent to another on five different agents. they all say were transferring you to safer gaming. I wish I could upload screenshots of the conversation. 1). Backed horse for place. Betfair exchange froze unable to lay back bet from begining of race.site only functioned after race finished.2). Betfair uncontactable to complain and demand reimbursement for their site failure that stopped layback of place bet. So what occured ?I backed Lionel for a place in Irish Derby. Realised 100 yards in a bad move and could not lay the horse back to nuteralise any loss on the bet. Their site did not show the bet as matched nor did the “My Bets” feature show any bets open or matched but my balance was reduced by the value of the bet of £5.For the rest of the race I tried to get a lay on the horse but their site was not working on this market- jest no response. At the race end however the bet showed as matched. As I said throughout the race thier site denied me the opportunity to lat back the bet. I lost a fiver.Miffed at their site failure I tried to contact them about 30/50 times on the only method they provide- thief useless and totally ineffective contact us button (with the great Mickey tacking lie “the quickest way to contact us”). Great joke on your customers Betfair. They are impossible to contact in my experience on their so called contact button. I do not know how to get hold of this company. Contact button that does not work. No phone number. No email addresses. This is obviously deliberate on thier point because customers will give up and this of course keeps complaints down. I think maybe the industry regulator should look at this issue. Betfair are pathetic in the access they allow or give to their customer who experience problems. “No problem at Betfair”.To sum up i’m a fiver down because their site failed throughout the race and they are uncontactable to discuss this issue. The regulator needs to look at this contact issue provision of Betfair which simply does not work. In my expieriennnce they are a company their customers can not contact when things go wrong such as those site failing to work properly during a race.No Stares in reality on contact issue. I have been a betfair customer a long time but they have slowly but surely deteriorated as a bookmaker. BOG on multiples has gone and prices are shorter than elsewhere with the mask of a boost which only then raises them to other bookies prices. Profit is king now it seems, it’s a shame
