What are the minimum/maximum stakes on NetBet?

The minimum stake for pre-live bets is €0.07 (or currency equivalent) and €0.13 for live bets (or currency equivalent). There is no set maximum stake. If you are refused a bet you will be offered an alternative amount.

Can I play with my bonus balance first?

The bonus system automatically uses any real funds first before moving on to a players bonus amount. However, a player can use both his real and bonus money in a single bet if the total balance amount is wagered.

What is an each way bet and how does it work on European odds?

Each-Way Bets are available for outright/winner events.

Using the each-way checkbox on your bet slip will double the unit stake, placed on the win selection.

It will contain one bet on the win and another bet on the place terms

Example:

Placing 1 GBP on a selection with odds of 11.00 and choosing the e/w checkbox with terms: ¼ 1-2-3:

1 GBP will be a win bet

1 GBP will be on the place bet.

If the selection will finish 1st:

1 GBP X 11=11GBP

1GBP X 3.5 ((11.00-1)X(1/4)+1)=3.5

Total return: 11+3.5=14.5

If the selection will finish 2nd or 3rd

1 GBP on the winner part – will be losing

1 GBP on the place part – Return: 3.5

Can I transfer funds from one NetBet site to another?

Players can transfer funds between NetBet sites. The transfer section of the Cashier includes a list of websites between which you can make transfers, however, please note that there are restrictions in place which mean that you are not able to transfer funds for the same amount as your last deposit

What is a tricast bet and how does it work?

A Tricast is a bet where you name the first three selections to finish first, second and third in the correct order in a specified race, in races where a Computer Forecast Dividend is declared.

A Combination Tricast is a bet where you name three selections to finish first, second and third in any order.

Any winning Tricast is paid out according to the official Computer Tricast return which is declared to a £/€/$1 stake.

Tricasts are offered on all races with 4 or more runners. If one of the selections in a Tricast bet becomes a non-runner, the bet will be settled as a Forecast on the remaining selections in the order they were selected. If two of the selections in a Tricast become non-runners, the bet will then be settled as a win single on the remaining runner.

In the event of two or more runners dead-heating for first, second or third place, separate dividends will be declared and paid for each qualifying Tricast. In fixed price Tricasts, the full odds will be paid with the stake being split according to the number of runners which dead heat.

What are the rules for fast and next minute markets on football?

Each market refers to a specific 1 or 5 minute period in the match. It is split into minutes and seconds and it is displayed as part of the market title. 00:59 seconds counts as the first minute, 01:59 counts as the second minute, and so on.

Injury time does not count. For example:

The 5 minute period 40:00-44:59 refers to the first half only and does not include first half injury time.

The 5 minute period 45:00-49:59 refers to the start of the second half only and does not include first half injury time.

The 5 minute period 85:00-89:59 refers to the second half only and does not include second half injury time.

A settlement will be made based on data from the TV broadcaster covering the match or, if this is not available, on the official website of the competition, and if this is not available, on data transmitted by our data providers.

What are Asian Handicaps and how do they work?

The Asian Line is a special type of handicap used for soccer matches. Depending on the strength of each team, a handicap is issued for the game.

This enables the odds for each side to be more similar, allowing more competitive betting opportunities. All bets on the Asian Handicap in live betting (including 1st/2nd half bets) are settled according to the score line. Any goals prior to the bet being placed are not counted for settlement purposes. If a game is abandoned, bets will be void.

Asian Handicap – How it works.

0 – You win if your team wins the match. If there’s a draw (0 goals difference), your stake is refunded.

0.25 – You win if your team wins the match. If there’s a draw, your bet is split in half: one half is considered a win, the other half is considered a draw, and its stakes are refunded.

0.5 – You win if your team draws or wins the match.

0.75 – You win if your team wins or draws the match. If it loses with a one goal difference, you lose half of the stake.

1 – You win if your team wins or draws the match. If it loses with a goal difference of one, your stake is refunded.

-0.25 – You win if your team wins the match. If it draws, you lose half of the stake.

-0.5 – You win if your team wins the match.

-0.75 – You win if your team wins the match with a goal difference of two or more. If it wins with one goal your bet is split in half: one half is considered a win, the other half is considered a draw and its stakes are refunded.

-1 – You win if your team wins the match with a goal difference of two or more. If it wins with a goal difference of one, your stake is refunded.

How easy to the eye is the NetBet website?

Nothing difficult here. As soon as you go the NetBet site you are greeted by a landing page which has all the sigh up offers for their products. This is all you will find on the home page apart from the main menu at the top of the screen.

This type of layout makes things very easy for the visitor. You can eithern go and look at the bonus and sign up offer for the product you are or have an interest in, or you can just go straight to sports from the main menu at the top of the page.

When you click through we did find it took a couple of seconds to load the page when using Google Chrome as the browser.

The colour scheme once inside the sports betting section is a dark grey with text elements in white or lime green. This really makes the interface attractive and let’s you find your sports and markets quickly.

On this page you will find a second menu which allows you access to the various promotions, it contains a prominent link to the “Help” section and you can easily change your default site language and the odds format that you prefer to bet with.

Having all of these standard functions in the top area makes the userbility that much easier.

In terms of additional content on the site you will find an excellent statistics tool thast is a joy to use and is very graphical in nature. You can drill down to information quickly by country, league and team.

It provides a range of unique stats to help you make informed betting decisions.

Does NetBet offer competitive odds or the best odds in a certain sport?

The overall betting margin offered at NetBet is 5% which is a reasonably competitive margin compared to other online sportsbooks.

The best margins they offer are on US sports with Basketball, Baseball and Ice Hockey all at 4.3% or less.

The above sports are what create the average margin of 5% but take note that football betting margin is around 6.55 with tennis at 5.3%. These are both high and football in particular is not so attractive on NetBet as on other bookmakers sites.

How good is the market coverage and selection of bets on NetBet?

Market coverage is stronger on the major football leagues with each game usually having around one hundred seperate markets while in the lower leagues on other countries, this drops quite dramatically where some games might have less than ten markets.

In terms of the selection of bets they have a full range of handicap, teaser, combo and multiple system bet options as well as the more standard win and each way singles.

NetBet aim to keep their site uncomplicated so would not offer as many bet types as some other sportsbooks and bookmakers

How good is In Play betting on NetBet?

The In-play interface at NetBet is definitely in the top tier from a users perspective. The layout is really clear with all events on a single page but with the option to get to a certain sports by clicking a clearly labelled sport icon related to the sport.

The interface uses the same colour scheme as the main site and when you click on an individual game it then changes the layout to a three column view which gives you all other games in the sport in the left column. The centre column houses your chosen game with all markets viewable. the right hand column has a stats and game live view so you can follow.

What selection of bonuses and re-occurring promotions does NetBet have?

NetBet have a very good selection of bonuses right across their product portfolio with welcome bonuses on Sports, Casino, Live Casino, Vegas and also Poker.

In this review we are going to focus on the sports offers they have and it is a really good set of offers, if we start with the sign up bonus then you can get £50 or currency equivalent as a sign up bonus.

Some of the other offers they have available for customers on the sportsbook include:

NetBet Boosts – Check out the NetBet Boosts page on desktop & mobile for all the latest boosts on certain selected markets.

Some great sports promotions to make your enjoyment better and the welcome bonus has reasonably good wagering terms. You only need to rollover your initial deposit once to activate your bonus.

How easy is it to deposit and withdraw funds with an NetBet account?

NetBet have one of the widest ranges of payment options available including all major debit and credit cards, e-wallets such as Neteller, Skrill and Euteller, as well as pre paid cards. You can even use Bitcoin through a Neteller account.

All deposits and withdrawals have no fees which is a great part of NetBet with 90% of deposit options offering “instant” payments to your account.

How friendly and fast is the NetBet customer service and live chat service?

Really very good customer support on a wide range of questions. We checked the agent on betting related questions, on legal questions relating to specific country restrictions as well as information on minimum staking allowed.

Some of the answers were slow, but this was because the person was checking to get the exact information we required.

Very courteous and professional support all round.

About NetBet

General Information

NetBet has been around for 15 years and has built up a very loyal fan base in this time, largely thanks to its fantastic customer service department. The site is easy to navigate with an engaging yet functional interface that makes it very easy to bet on the many markets available. Many of you might not have heard of Cosmo Gaming but they are the driving force behind NetBet. As well as the sports site they also run NetBet Casino, NetBet Poker, NetBet Vegas and NetBet Live Casino. The site was originally branded as 770 (Casino770, Bet770 and Poker770) but was recently changed to the NetBet name, using the rebranding to bring all the subsidiaries together under the same umbrella.

Deposit & Withdrawals

Although there is surprisingly no PayPal option offered, NetBet have worked hard to ensure safety and security are seriously considered. The site is secure and the payment partners they use are among the best in the industry. Making a payment is simple and stress free. Log into your account and go to the deposit section that you will see under “cashier” – note that the minimum deposit amount for all payment methods here is £10 and maximum deposit amounts for some payment methods are lower than other sites such as Paddy Power or BetVictor.

Customer Service

NetBet have always provided a great level of customer service and are prompt to answer and have polite, friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have an online FAQ database which is very easy to navigate and find the answer to your query, but if not then telephone, post, email and live chat are all available.

NetBet betting experience

Odds format & betting margin

Offered in easy to read UK, US and European formats, the odds at NetBet are simple to find, while their overall betting margin hovers around a reasonably low 4.7% but it must be noted that that figure rises to 6.2% on tennis. The minimum stake allowed is just €0.70, while the maximum fluctuates somewhat based on both the sport book chosen and the type of bet placed, plus there is no specified limit on winnings either per bet or over a specific time period.

Betting limits

Maximum winnings from sports betting are exclusive of stake and are fixed at £20,000 in any 24 hour period or €50,000 In one week (Monday at 00:01 until the following Sunday at midnight (CET)

Types of bets

Netbet offer single bets, handicap bets, combination bets and system bets up to 8 selections. They also offer a bet called a “Teaser” bet. A teaser is 1 bet involving 2 or more points spread or game total selections on American Football or Basketball. A fixed number of points are bought on all selections in the teaser. The number of teams selected and the number of points selected determines the payout odds. All selections must be successful for the bet to win.

Sport coverage

The NetBet site covers thirty three different sports betting markets, with football, horse racing, tennis and virtual sports the most popular.

In-play experience

Bright colourful icons are used to highlight the different markets, which makes finding and betting on your favourite sports very simple. All the markets loaded fast and we experienced no delays or problems with the site, while NetBet have introduced a “Rapid Fire” for mobile users which is just superb. It is easily one of the best ways we have seen for betting on a tablet or a mobile as, within a few taps, it’s so easy to lay multiple bets across different football games and football markets. Even better, NetBet offer a free £10 bet when you use the mobile app for the first time, and the live schedule is located at the bottom right of the screen, very useful for a quick glance to see what in-play events are due to take place.

Live streaming

There’s no live streaming with NetBet.

No bettings found.
