Bethard Review

The Bethard website is a really nice looking website with a modern interface and we like the layout of the menu structure. Like many of today’s websites, it has a top main navigation menu which includes the complete product, but it is the second menu that has both positive and negative aspects.

From a positive perspective, it has just two options to choose from, LIVE BETTING and TODAY’S EVENTS so you do not have to search around the site to be able to get to an in-play or upcoming event, making it easy to find what you want to bet on quickly and easily. On our site you will also find information about Bethard bonus and Bethard mobile app.

The slight negative is the size of the font of these two labels. It is a little small and could be bigger and bolder to stand out. A minor thing, but one we think would add to the navigation around the site.

In terms of colour scheme, it uses a black, dark grey and yellow (old gold colour) for the left side sports menu. Again this is laid out really well with black text on the gold background. The minor issue is the font again is small and could be bolded.

The main page has three sections with the left side main sports section. Middle section has an icon-based menu to find live and in play events quickly and the top of this section features two blocks with clear pricing and markets on the two biggest football matches of the day.

You can find a link to them on the site in the very top left-hand corner of your screen and this is a really great blog with regular content and a great mix of sports. Unlike other sites which focus on football, the Bethard blog really does cover a wide range of sports to suit everybody’s taste.

They also have a special section on the blog which is entitled “Minutes with Zlatan” which is an insight into all sports and his thoughts about different players from different sports.

Very entertaining interviews with the opinionated Swede.

Bethard is very much a bookmaker for the football punter, but do have one of the best offers on the market at present. Their average betting margin across all sports is 3.1% which offers arbitrage punters so great betting opportunities and is also good news for the bettor who likes to focus on one sport.

As an example: In a recent game between Eibar and Barcelona in La Liga, the Spanish Champions were playing away from home, and all of the top tier bookmakers had them priced up at 4.5 (1.8) whilst Bethard were the best price on the market at 5/6 (1.83)

Yes, they are small margins, but every little bit helps the punter in trying to beat the bookie.

If we look at Bethard across a range of sports, then we see they have a very competitive offer all round.

A very strong odds offer across the board.

It is clear that Bethard is heavily into football and tennis betting with horse racing less prominent but still covered.

They currently offer betting on a very large selection of leagues worldwide, and very interesting is strong coverage of women’s league and international matches. Certainly, a niche betting opportunity if you wish to research that part of the sport.

They cover more than 70 countries (73 when we last checked) and more than 120 leagues with a very wide spread of markets to cater to every football punter.

In terms of different markets, we undertook our review near the end of the football season but using our Eibar vs Barcelona example, this event had more than 170 different markets.

We also took a look at the Champions League and Europa League finals and they both had more than 120 markets a week before the finals.
