Well this site looks as though it is half finished with lots of content gaps. We noticed that a lot of the images on the blog seemed to be out of focus and blurry giving a poor image in an industry that focuses on grabbing a users attention.

Clicking the contact us button only took us to a page where it gave email contact addresses and we could not see any live chat function, in today’s online sports betting market this is incredibly strange.

One plus point for Blacktype.bet is that they do have some pretty decent promotions with their free weekly bet and initial sign up bonus not as restrictive as other sites.

Live streaming

Blacktype.bet does not currently supply live streaming of events.

As the name Blacktype suggests, the site itself is designed with a “dark” colour scheme. The use of black, grey and white actually works very well and makes navigation very easy.

The site has a modern full width design unlike many other sportsbooks and this adds to the ease of use.

The site navigation is contained within one main horizontal section below the main logo. From here you can access links to all of the various products as well as the menu containing all sports. The site is really well designed technically and it means that pages are very fast loading.

Clicking on the “ALL SPORTS” link in the main menu will open up a full width sub menu with a red background and white text. It makes it very easy to find your favorite sport.

The blog on the site is very much football oriented but we found that the blog is not updated very well and this is one area that needs work.

In terms of other content then promotions are easy to find in the top section through a scrolling image slider as well as a link in the main menu.

Well they are certainly pushing a strong World Cup offer, but apart from this let’s look at some of the more standard events and the odds they offer.

Looking at horse racing and greyhound racing they look on a parv with most bookmakers but for tennis fans then this is one bookmaker that may give you an edge in terms of prices.

It was interesting that on a number of matches we reviewed that the favorite was actually often a bigger price than most bookmakers whilst the outsider was a shorter price. Definitely something to watch for when placing accas.

Blacktype have a very good market coverage in terms of countries and leagues but are weak in terms of number of markets on each event.

Their league coverage spans 43 countries including a wide range of cup football and also women’s football is strong.

The “Live Now” interface is nice and clean and updated prices are flashed with either a green or red. Green for prices lengthening and red for prices shortening.

The Upcoming Live Events section contains a full list of events which are easily selected by choosing one of the sports tabs at the top of this section. Each tab shows the sport and how many events are scheduled, clicking on the tab will open all events.

Most of the promotions on offer at Blacktype.bet are one off sign up offers, saying this they do have a weekly free bet offer which is part of the Blacktype free bet club. They also offer an ongoing incentive which is their Acca Bonus. This allows players to earn a bonus percentage for a successful winning acca.
