Amazingly, my account was opened and just fine. Then I deposited £2,000, which they happily (greedily, in retrospect) accepted. They then INSTANTLY suspended my account, making it impossible to even get my money back. I’ll be filing charges against these thieves. If you send them money, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Today I contacted Betfair support and an agent was really helpful, good approach, understanding and communication, so I’m very happy with his assistance! So, my problem was solved, after a few questions and answers, some checks and additional clarifications.Again, I was a little bit worried before contacting BF support, but this support guy did his job very well and now I’m really satisfied!

I can only speak as a horse racing punter but I found them pretty good. Yes, the account got suspended pending some identification issues but when I sought help from the “bot” it was sorted, no problem. Certainly not deserving of some of the bad comments I can see.

Would rate it less if I could!! Scam of a company, take your money then suspend your account and give you no time frame at all, been 2 weeks now and not heard nothing after uploaded all relevant documents

Look at all these fake Betfair Reviews its so obvious how they are stacking on top of eachother believe me I have been a Betfair member since the early 2000’s and Betfair were brilliant until the merger with Paddy Power in 2016 now it is a total embarrassment.In my opinion the thousands and thousands of one star reviews are right the fact that all these five star reviews come in such a short space of time is highly suspicious everyone knows that Betfairs customer service is the worst in the industry with agents who can barely speak english or don’t understand betting you get cut off regularly or in mid sentence that’s why people are leaving in their droves they used to be the best believe me they are not now.

Worst site I’ve seen come across in my life ! My misses opened an account and got 10 bonus and almost everyone paid nothing bad one that paid £15 on £1 stale after 100s of spins ! Rigged to death. She played roulette and the table kicked her off on a winning spin and removed chips . Just so obviously rigged it makes you wonder how they get away with the RNG nonsense they reply with! I contacted betfair today which are part of skybet. They told me I needed to contact betfair about my self exclusion. They said my account with Paddy power I’d been self excluded since 13th of June 2016. Which is totally wrong because I was registered with GAMSTOP on the 31st of August 2018 for 5 years meaning my self exclusion ended on the 1st September 2023

Avoid at all cost I have had to cancel my bank cards won £30 tried to withdraw they then suspended my account and requested photo proof of address and identity I sent as requested for my account to still be suspended. They then asked me to resend my information so I did and a week later account still suspended when I asked them why I was once again asked to send photos when I told them I was not comfortable with sending my information so many times especially to different people they seid they can’t proceed with helping me unlock my account. With the amount of fraud and identity theft these days I have cancelled all my bank cards

This company are saying i self excluded myself until 16/06/2024 which i never did. Can you please ask them to remove the self exclusion. If i could i would have given them no star at all.

There is only so much a customer service person can do but if they get to the core of your problems fast put you on the road to recovery then they are diamond in the rough and Betfair and getting better day by day. When it comes to improving the UI or disability support,support for safer gambling they’re the ones who’ve got your back.

Robbing scumbags got a result with my free spins then out 5 pound in only once I deposited did they close my account and claim it wasn’t verified despite having an email saying it was in fact FULLY verified. I love Betfair ,they are brilliant. I particularly like the in-play betting on the horse racing. They pay out quickly when I win too. If there is a gap between races I like to play on Slingo.Its just a simple bingo game but it fun.

I would give them a minus if possible, found a winner at York took 13/2′ starting price was 9/1 and expected payment on the 9/1 but was paid at 13/2 so made a complaint and was told they changed the rules in July where you now have to opt in to get best odds which to me seems madness,anyway told them to close my account which they did before refunding my balance,now i cannot access my account to request the refund and seem to end up in an Indian call centre every time i use the chat function

Could not log into my account as hadn’t used it for about three years. I have a new email and had forgotten my password. Contact support was transferred three times to different very unhelpful agents had to explain myself three times, upload documents three times was kept holding on for ten minutes at a time and in the end after an hour I was no better off. I don’t think the people I was communicating with understood my problem they were just messing me around. Useless totally useless. I’ve only given one star because I can’t give 0

Asked my son to write this reviewI wanted to increase my funds limit to 3k from 1k was asked to provide self assessment as well as proof of funds and documentation.Provided all the necessary information required explained it’s a online wholesellers companyWhen I logged in to betfair my account was suspended contacted live chat was told to wait few hours as they will review my account And then got this email below for permenetly closed When asked was asked not to message betfair support again. On live chat wrote my name and nbsp then refused to state what nbsp stands for..refused entry and stated its outside risk criteria but won’t explain what it means.No one willing to explain or help or work around this matter.As below email states this can’t be challenge not sure what to challenge if I do not even know Thank you for your co-operation to date. Upon review of your account and the documentation received, a business decision has been made to maintain permanent closure over your account, as the account has been deemed to no longer meet Betfair’s risk criteria. I’m afraid we wouldn’t be able to divulge specific details pertaining to the closure as this is not made available to us. What I can confirm is that the decision was made in line with our Terms and Conditions and I’m afraid isn’t something that can be appealed. They also changed one of my bets I had and then said there is issues with the app and you should screenshot bets to prove there is a issue? Screenshot bets why would you have to do that every time.

Abysmal customer service! 72 hours and still no reply to messages. Asked for proof of address/income so I sent a monzo statement, they don’t accept those but will take a deposit from the card. Make you jump through hoops to withdraw £25. I’ve closed my account, plenty of better betting sites around.

I had £1011 taken from my Revolut card and the bank closed the investigation without investigating so I went to betfair and betfair have taken 1 week to investigate but then did nothing and closed the case, so my money is stolen, I am on GAMSTOP and my money was deposited into someone else’s account which is against there T&Cs but they won’t pay me back

Bets are suspect on this app. Use a more reliable betting app that wont use term loopholes to stop paying you out. For example a player in a bet they offer gets subbed after 20mins? They pocket your bet and say if it was 10mins we would refund you. They move the goalposts as they say.

Absolutely appalling! I had a bet which involved Kevin De Bruyne. Unfortunately, De Bruyne went off injured around the 18th minute which means he didn’t have any real opportunity to complete any part of a bet involvement.Every bookmaker I have ever used will refund/void the bet if a player on a bet builder/bet goes off injured before half time. These scammers have a different idea. One of the “customer service” agents told me that they don’t care about other bookmakers, and will con customers as long as the player is on for one second.Laughable greed. I asked for this to be escalated to management, but instead they shut me down twice not answering this query and closed the chat, transferring me to an automated tool that checks if you have any free bets, which will tell you that you don’t just to get rid of you.I’ll be closing my account and not letting these conmen have any more of my business.

Easy to open a account but when you want close it the keep you waiting ages and suddenly the bot come to text you asking the same questions you answered before. The customer service is horrible, tried so many times. Seems like they don’t want your details out of their hands.Worst place ever!

Betfair allowed me to register and deposit with a 100%bonus. When I tried to place my first bet my account was closed. Live chat said that my account was closed on “business grounds”, but would not say anything else than it was the security department doing this. It was not possible to complain or talk to the security department. So Betfair just took 100€.

Oh dear ,I get the feeling that betfair maybe struggling . Not so long ago for the big horse meetings it was bet 10 pound on a horse racing multiple and get a 10 pound free multiple bet, that got shaved down to 5 pound to get a 5 pound multiple now its bet 5 pound on multiples to get a 1 pound free bet!! Best odds guaranteed is only on singles ,it’s all give less take more lol. And as for the casino ,I don’t play larger stakes on any flutter company slot as they are all pretty bad ,but I ll try a tenner ,and I don’t remember the last time I won anything ,I really think they’re struggling and just creaming off what they can ,shame as it used to be a good site
