Money has mysteriously gone missing from my account, and I can’t understand why because it certainly wasn’t put into my bank account, so who’s bank account have betfair put it into because it certainly wasn’t mine, betfair should have questioned this surly

Jeaden was most helpful. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to place my Free bet within whatever the maximum time frame was after I’d placed my initial bet.The rep kindly allowed me the option to place a Free bet as a courtesy, which I will utilize shortly. 🙂

Had a chat with Keara from the ‘Safer Gambling team’ and don’t think I’ve ever had a better experience dealing with a customer service agent. They were very polite, easy to talk to and very clear. I hope they get the recognition they deserve for this. The chats can involve difficult topics but they were dealt with excellently and with care.

betfair is known for closing accounts with money. I won 55, requested withdrawal on verified account, and they only gave me 5 deposit back. and said they closed my account, but i can still login and it says they need documents. after i provided the documents requested, they said they close my account and stole the winnings. fraud. still worth contacting gambling commision

I was playing the Casino Game Maze of Fortune and I hit three scatters and had just entered the Minotaur Maze and was on Level One if you make it to Level Five you have the chance to win 200x your stake and guess what I’d reached Level Two and the game malfunctioned what a surprise.Rules state if the game malfunctions it voids all pays and plays this is just another example how fraudulent the Betfair Casino is run by Paddy Power who are the most corrupt bookmakers around because as soon as you get in a good position on any Casino game something inexplicable happens to stop you progressing and winning more money.My advice is just don’t play any corrupt Casino game linked to Paddy Power as I have played most of them and I can categorically say they are all manipulated or voided in play to stop players winning when in a good position.Lets be honest everyone knows the Casino is fixed because the same patterns keep happening to the games it can’t be coincidence can it as they’re all designed to stop you winning and winning big so my advice is steer clear and play a Casino elsewhere that doesn’t have any links to the corrupt Paddy Power.

Good bookmaker with the odd free bet thrown in and withdrawal to card is instant and PayPal is 4hrs virtually every time. Been a customer for around 5 years not had a single issue.

As an exchange they have the highest odds compared to other bookmakers. I like the concept of an exchange since you bet against other people without a middleman in between. I never had any issues with Betfair. Good helpdesk.

Having read what most of the other sites out there are like it has come to my attention that the majority of UK gambling sites are really really bad.I don’t consider Betfair to be one of them , they are top 4 materiel !Never had any problems with them , never won a sodding penny on their website but that’s most probably down to my bad betting rather than anything they’ve done.Some websites you are lucky on some not , well done Betfair.Your free pinball game is terrible though and rigged so the pinball always lands in the red bin , sort something out so you can actually win something on it every now and then !

Don’t use I can’t withdraw my money into my bank account. It says to prevent money laundering it can’t pay into my own bank account the one the funds come from to play on their site. How f**king stupid are they. I will never use again

Dreadful company. Ripped of on a bet. Stake was quite substantial and the bet won. Then the only option available to me a good few minutes after the result was to cash out for 4 euro, my stake alone was over 20 times that. I hit the cash out assuming that this was an error and that Betfair would honour the win, they didn’t. Owed about 200 euro which they said would not be settled. I disabled my account immediately and regret ever setting one up with them. An absolute disgrace of a company, avoid.

I was a Betfair customer for many years. To start with they were brilliant. The exchange odds were often far better than SP and there were lots of offers and concessions. Since Paddy Power took over they have gone downhill fast. The amount of money matched per race fell sharply so liquidity was a problem. They restricted Best Odds Guaranteed to singles then they withdrew it without any warning. If you want to query settlement of a bet it is impossible to get hold of anybody with any knowledge of betting. I have closed my account and would recommend all punters to go elsewhere.

Betfair have had a major data breach that has resulted in customers losing money out of there accounts. They can give no timescales on when this will be resolved. It is concerning that the only account that money should be withdrawn to is the customers own account, yet money has gone missing. Not the first time, see online articles for 2011. It is now 2 weeks and they still will not discuss it with me. I am told that they are working through many tickets, concerning that after 2 weeks they are still addressing the issue. Makes you wonder how many are affected.

Betfair closed my account without giving me a reason. When I contacted customer support to ask about open exchange bets they told me there was nothing and the last bet had already been settled – I knew this was not correct as I had placed a bet for South Africa to win the Rugby World Cup. Requested a statement of account and sure enough my balance showed that I had won that bet! Absolutely outrageous way to treat a customer and then lie about the account.

Sadly Betfair use the online poker skin iPoker. A nine seat table can take more than 20mins to fill which is longer than you will be sat down at the table playing, this is nothing like Poker in the real world, warning it could actually harm your game. Everything on the SitandGo tables is built around speed which run at turbo and hyper turbo speed. Volumes have been written about the RNG and the way the cards come out nothing in a complementary way, I would just say its good at clearing the table of players. If you have limited poker skill and enjoy a bit of fast Bingo Poker then sign on and watch the incredible flops and suck outs unfold.

Can’t understand how Betfair it’s so poor in quality offer to their own customers…I could see that it’s a general issue with odds moving while u place a bet and for my surprise if the odds goes up u will stay with your previous odd but if goes down they actualise for their benefit…before I used bet365 and they just block the bet when the odd changes and that’s what should be done in Betfair if they were reliable…sad!

I’ve been a long term customer and like someone has said above I’d like to leave a balanced review that’s not influenced by losses or short term issues.The site itself and the overall product, especially the exchange which is unique and the best betting product available, would get 5 star’s no problem. You’re getting the best odds around betting on the exchange and due to you not actually winning off a bookmaker you’ll never get issues with account closures or restrictions.The downside of Betfair and the reason I only give them 3 stars is the customer service is absolutely appalling. I would say that this problem isn’t unique to them, virtually all the bookmakers I deal with are poor at best when it comes to looking after and dealing with their customer’s issues, but Betfair are head and shoulders the worst of the established bookmakers.Live chat is painfully slow and unless your issue is the most basic to solve, no one on the chat has much idea of the actual gambling and site product. These positions should be a semi skilled job with anybody holding them having a pretty good grasp of the industry. Unfortunately they’re not and most of the operatives you’ll deal with (if you manage to get past the Bot) are lacking in even the most basic knowledge of gambling and it’s rules.Brilliant site, shocking customer service!EDIT: I’ve read through loads more reviews on here since I posted mine and would advise people to take 90% of them with a massive pinch of salt. They’re nearly all from obvious bad losing/compulsive/casino junkies and are far from accurate. I have used Betfair for over 20 years. Overall the service is good and the odds offered on the exchange are better than any bookmaker for Horseracing, Football and most other sports. The only downsides are: 1. handling downtime which does NOT occur that frequently and 2. Dealing with customer contacts (as stated in other reviews it is initially not one on one and you are interfacingf with a bot, or it seems that way) and new accounts problems with account access, withdrawals, etc.Once you are an established user deposits, withdrawals and placing bets are simple transactions to carry out. They are not perfect, but they are not scammers, crooks or anything else described in some reviews. Bear in mind that people receiving a good service are not likely to review whilst those encountering problems are very likely to write a bad review. I hope you will feel this is a balanced review and helps you to decide whether or not to use Betfair

I placed a 5 team accumulator and 4 teams won and I was waiting for a late kick off so I decided to cash out but 1 result, showing a 2-1 win wasn’t registering as a win, so wouldn’t allow my cash out. Tried customer service but no joy. This isn’t the first time. I would highly recommend Not using Betfair they are absolutely useless. I’m down nearly £1000 due to their issues and won’t ever use them again. STAY CLEAR

My account was deactivated for some unknown reason last year (25+ year account) but after eventually managing to get through all the bots and AI, it was reactivated with little to no pain. Overall a good experience

I joined up with these clowns today, had my 50 free spins and won just over £9, I opted for a Tesco voucher…because of this I got £2 extra so I was able to opt for a £10 Tesco voucher which said I would receive in 2mins with £1.30 still left as credit on my account…I never got that token at all!…instead I got an email saying that my account had been closed which is inline with terms and conditions (as an excuse)….it looks to me like they didn’t want me to win this money so they cancelled my account instead, no other reason…I’d literally just joined up!Then I saw many other identical reviews everywhere about betfair!If I had won nothing, my account would be fine!Absolute scammers…avoid at all cost!

For anybody that is going to place a football acca at Betfair make sure you do it via oddschecker as the odds are much much bigger than on the Betfair app. I’ve just filled a acca out on Betfair app and it was 18/1 but on oddschecker it’s 26/1 big difference if you going to bet big

Deposited 600 gbp left 269 gbp to either play or withdraw the following day . Signed in said I had to speak to safer gambling team spoken to them they requested id again picture of myself with the id utility bill bank statement showing the deposits picture of bank card deposited from . This was 3 maybe 4 weeks ago now and I still havent got my money . I’ve spent hours on online chat being referred to numerous agents to now be told a team will be in touch soon . Soon has not got a time scale.
