Customer service experience is atrocious
Managers always too busy and say they'll call back but they never do. You contact them and they don't reply. I had to send my email to the CEO who then forwarded it to the dept who finally got in touch like they said they would 2 weeks later. By that time the event had passed.

I started playing bet fair online casino several years ago…
You win big at first, but once you make a withdrawal that’s when you lose, lose, lose!
And since the new update, you can’t win at all or find the games you enjoyed before.
I’m about to write a letter to the casino commission of New Jersey and express my concerns. I suggest everyone do the same!
I Wrote a review on the App Store for bet fair but they don’t let most reviews go public! Just a scam! Stay away… don’t bother!

Betfair stinks! I tell you that place is rigged something wicked-their slots are so rigged that it's easy for anyone to see-100 pound on one slot 25p a go -yay hay eventually got bonus payed me £2.25 pmsl, so i decide to close my account and just self exclude myself from their forever! They would only do it for 5 years and they refuse to remove my bank card details? What i asked! They then asked me to provide a photo id of my bank card a bank statement and a picture of my last deposit to betfair!!!! So i asked the guy adrian they called him why would you want to keep my bank details on your site when ive just closed my account by self exclusion? Why would i have to prove my bank card is mine when you have been excepting deposits and transfering money into my bank account 3 times? Then the guy just disapeared and ran away!!! Now i cant get back on to betfair chat as only members can talk to them….I will have to inform bank and get a new bank card as this seems very dodgy to me, keep away from betfair and their crooked twins paddy power!!!! Very dodgy indeed!!!

The customer service is beyond terrible. Something tells me they don't WANT you to be able to get in contact. Wish i had read the reviews on here before attempting to sign up. The company just doesn't care. Go somewhere else.

13 years ago when I joined they were superb. The greatest company in the world. The exchange was wonderful

Then they got greedy and added the sportsbook which is pointless as you'll be restricted very fast

Then even worse they sold to Paddy Power and that when it lost the plot. Customer service is an utter embarrassment they don't even pretend to care. They tell you they will call you back and they don't. That would never have happened back in the day. Constant outages on the site. Races not being suspended in time etc etc etc

They have had live video issues for years yet still tell me it's my side and to clear my cookies and cache. Embarrassing

The nosey busybody team don't have a problem getting in touch wanting to know all my personal details and bank statements wage slips though. Obsessed with responsible gambling BS. its my money I'll do what I want

The most rigged black jack tables , i had 20 3 times in a row against there 4/5/6 and every round the game froze i came back and they had 21😂 i really dont know how scum sites get away with it, would never use, by far the worst site ive ever used 100% stay away and the dealers are fat and ugly

the sportsbook sucks got banned from there after placing less than 10 bets on A 100 pound loss, a joke of a book i suppose they only want mugs. I would just stick to the betting exchange as thats decent. But I would stay far away from the sportsbook.

Had to go through a review of income after 18 years with them.
Sent proof of homes owned.

Tax paid. Etc.

The compliance team miscalculated my income by 50%
Didn’t understand tax.
Didn’t understand income.
Miscalculated Second income stream.

Closed account.

Don’t advertise exchange is seeded by Sportsbook to enhance liquidity.

Compliance team are pretty thick. (Don’t understand figures).Something I’d expect from a company that you trust your money with.

Anyone that uses BET FAIR needs to get their head examined. Scamming thives. Why doesn't Government close those scammers once and for all. 90% of terrible reviews tells you something about those thieves. Shut them down asap

Betfair are no better than the bookies who rig the market in their favour by restricting accounts of people who actually make a profit gambling. Betfair don't do this however they rip people off another way by taxing them up to 60% on winnings!! Not only do they charge commission on winnings now they have decided that if sometime is successful at betting or trading they'll take a big % instead. Up to 60% . Gangsters!! Simple as that.

Betdaq don't do this so I recommend as many people as possible switch to Betdaq and show Betfair where to go. This will increase liquidity on betdaq exchange which will make it a better place to gamble or trade.

Betfair exchanges NO better, taking into account the deduction for commission.

Add in 'NO first past the post' to Sportsbook customers even when 'cash out' is activated

I placed a bet for England to get more than 156.5 runs in 20 overs the game was abandoned due to rain and betfair or bet unfair claim that the total of 131 after 16.1 overs stands as there was more than 16 overs played even though England were odds on to exceed the total if they had the extra 3.5 overs left, unbelievable that they can do this

Used to be the best thing in the world for bettors then Paddy Power got involved and totally ruined it. Customer service is totally utterly useless and don't give a damn when it comes to sorting problems

Live video stream is always going down and all they do is tell you do clear your cache and cookies (lol) even though half the betfair forum are telling them it's down

I just wish they had proper competition with liquidity. While they have a monopoly they can carry on taking the mick

I have contacted customer care over 8 times. My bet won, but my liability was not returned. I have been left waiting for hours by customer care, been disconnected, been lied to, been given false hope and stupid excuses. This company used to be good, but after COVID they have gone really down. I would be careful to use this company, unless you are ready to lose your winnings.

Good reviews…. previously. Trying to contact Betfair is like trying to but a winning lottery ticket. In fact the buying a ticket has better odds. Been trying to contact them regarding a bet, no joy as their 'customer service agents' are all busy, says a lot, will definitely try another gaming site now.

Horrible, unethical and scammers. SAVE your money. The cards are predetermined on blackjack, and the card value is shown before the card is even flipped over. Terrible customer service and constantly has delays to mess up your bet and takes your money. Trust me.. do not do it.

Betfair are deliberately withholding your money for 2 to 5 days so they making money on your money. every other online site pay your money on day . when you approach them about it they terminate your chat . where is the gambling commision or trading standards as they are in breach of there terms of transfer . state 2 payments upto 500 on a day not no paymnets

On numerous occasions I've had profitable trades either voided or re-settled at a loss later on that day/following day.
Promotions show up on on the home-page only for me to click on and be told I'm not eligible for said promotion…
Customer Service is abysmal – a complete waste of time and effort. As is signing up to Betfair itself. I highly regret doing so and advise anyone reading this who hasn't done so to avoid them.
I have now closed my account.

Cashed out early on a game first 2 mins as I put the wrong bet down, lost the whole bet. Not a straightforward website won't be using this again, just a scam.

After finding my account was closed for 'management reasons' I complained and after a few emails managed to get half my money back – but no real explanation. So I complained further and asked for more details. I managed to get someone telling me that my account was looked at and it was deemed appropriate to close it and the money kept. I then asked for, in line with Article 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), for copies of every single piece of information they had in regard to the decision made to close my account and retain the money. My account was restored within 20 minutes and all money returned with apologies for the problems caused. After withdrawing the money – I then chose to close my account!

Please do the same. The number of people this dreadful company are ripping off is ridiculous. I hope you get some resolution to your issues. Unfortunately GDPR only applies to Europe (I know people in Australia are having huge problems too).

Account has now been closed for ten days for no apparent reason. They asked me to upload numerous personal and private information to verify an account I’ve had for 15 years! You cannot speak to anybody, you have to use the Betfair chat or tweet but will not get anything resolved as it ‘is with another department’ you can of course not talk to the other department. I’m absolutely shocked at the contempt they have for customers and as soon as I can get access to my account I’ll be removing my cash and going elsewhere.

Absolutely pathetic, no phone no to contact, thru chat takes ages even then they don't resolve any issues.
My account has been closed for security reasons ( fair enough) but unfair and unprofessional as no prior notification was sent, at the same time there are open bets on exchange which they are not even telling me what's happening to those bets as on exchange they can't avoid bets. All I could hear thru message services is that manager will get back to you thru email , in short they don't give a Fk. And have been doing what ever they want to do. May be because I was on 2% commission they can't take it.
If I have had the option I would give them 0 star.

I honestly don’t know where to start with a company that in the past was a flagship and had the world of exchange betting at its feet.
During the past few years I have witnessed the company go down hill so quickly in all Depts I.e customer service is so far behind the times that it is like trying to converse with someone on dial up internet from the 80s… the staff on the customer Online service msg have obviously been trained in the art of robotic answer and reply who some how come across as individuals who either possess low intelligence or scared of losing there job. So for the time being I am out. Good bye Betfair.

This company of thieves have kept my money for 2 weeks and areı ignoring our making excuses about returning it. They have removed phone support meaning that it is impossible to get an answer from them for days on end. It is unreal that they are allowed 5 to abuse and ignore customers

Betfair put incentives on to encourage increased stakes. My issue always seems to be on the offer of stake £20 in multiples and they will give you £5. It was previously stake £15 for the same bonus. Over the last 3 months I have probably received 10 bonuses automatically so about 40 times I have had to use their message service and get them to manually credit it. Average waiting time for an answer is 20 minutes so many, many hours wasted. If you have staked either of the above then check you got your bonus as I have had that many excuses to why it didn't manually happen I am passed believing them.

Don’t gamble unless you are FULLY prepared to lose your hard earned money. Simply the odds of the game mean you are 50-90% likely to lose your money but given the HUGE overheads many ‘chancer’ companies have mainly to do with advertising, I’m not surprised they try every trick in the trade to KEEP your winnings. Betfair isn’t really like that – they’ve always paid my winnings but I did join them a long time ago….

Not a bad selection of games, just a shame no matter how much i spend i never get anything free off here, all bonuses/free spins offered are for 10p spins instead of being at your stake so i dont touch those, and generally dont feel valued at betfair, many better companies out there just read the wagering requirements and spin stakes so you dont get taken by a mug for 10p spins when i play £1 stakes and above

Can’t fault them. At first I didn’t get any wins so was a bit sceptical of the site but I’ve had some decent wins lately and never seen quicker payments. Payment to my debit card was there instantly! Couldn’t believe it. No waiting for 5 days or being asked to verify a withdrawal with endless id requests. Good site, good games.

Awful company. It is such a shame that it has come to this. Looking at some of the reviews it would appear that I am not the only person who has been well and truly ripped off by Betfair. They will be sorry when they start to see their numbers dwindle. How a company in this day and age can get away with as many swindles on a daily basis as Betfair does is beyond me. I have been a member for over 15 years but today I will be closing my account, I simply do not trust them anymore.

One issue after another. Had to upload verification 3 times, didn't work, had to do it through chat. Then they declined my debit card & wouldn't let me remove it from their system. Closed account. More trouble than it's worth

I do not agree with your app copying from clipboard in iOS. My phone handles customers sensitive data and your app along with other companies are accessing it without permission when I open your app. I have submitted a complaint to the information commissioners office. You have absolutely no good reason to use this feature in IOS amd have not been given to use it.

Do not ask for further feedback as I don’t be providing it. All I want to see is an update to your app before you get yourself huge fines
