Advert on TV for 50 free spins with Betfair Casino. Won £97. Wanted to withdraw £50 of it. They then shut my account down for business reasons and refuse to give me the winnings. Thieves!

Joined a couple of days ago and withdrew £220 got an email this morning to say my account was suspended and I need to upload documents I uploaded them and within 20 minutes my account was back active and my withdrawal is now pending to my bank was a bit sceptical after reading all the reviews but customer service was great

Very bad company. They closed without notice my account babbling about violation of terms and conditions but without refer exactly what’s the violation and without giving any evidence. But the very uncorrect behaviour is that they don’t refund the amount available on the account.The customer service is nothing but a word of mouth so it’s impossible to contact the management not even in writing.

What a useless company..been with them for untold years…not long ago,I was going to open an account with a company to get a price on a horse for Cheltenham, when suddenly I am blocked by companies including betfair…years ago I joined a poker company, and when I went to withdraw, in microscope printing,it said there was a several times roll over,so I self excluded from the thieves..as betfair are in this flurry group,I am blocked for life..they are nothing but con artists

If I could leave no stars I would. They closed my account but are not allowed to say why. They then stole my £125 balance & all they keep saying is my account is blocked permanently & they cannot discuss it. Avoid them & Paddy Power as they are the same company.

I hit 2 bonuses on the same game at 2 seperate times on the same day neither of them triggered, so I disputed it via live chat to be lied to, the game was Ted cashlock. Daniel specifically told me you need a bear on each line which is not true I play this game all the time on multiple different sites and you only need 6 or more bears no matter how they are placed to trigger a bonus. After being on the chat for over an hour he told me he was looking into it further and just disconnected me off the chat! At that point it was clear they wasn’t going to pay out for the mistake even after seeing my screenshots. I’m absolutely fuming shocking customer service and to be lied to is just beyond a joke when I’ve spent a fair amount over my time with them!! I Won’t be using them again! And the daily free to play game is also pointless unless you want to bank 10p??

I would rename it Betunfair.They closed my account because I asked PaddyPower to close my account, I didn’t like PaddyPower so it ended up of me having my Betfair account closed too without me asking for this.Anyway good riddance

Well, what can I say?! I’ve been using this company for more years than I can remember and with very few problems. Sure, they don’t always have the best prices but the website is easy to navigate and their systems are quite efficient. However, in the last year, I decided I was missing out on their promotional offers by simply opting for their discount scheme. So, I started to do a mixture of out and out gambling and mixing that with using their promotional offers. That has been my only change. I’ve still lost money! In fact, in the last few months I’ve lost around £400. Straight from my bank to theirs. Guess what? Betfair have sent me a message today saying they are giving me no more promotional offers! And guess what for a second time? I’m not going to give them any more of my money. So, I’ll close my account. Even after all these years. Avoid these mobs because I’m guessing that since they have been taken over by Paddy P. they have become moronic, money-grabbing, s**** who only want things to go one way. Their way.

Do not comply with Gambling Commissions.gov.ukhad a new account and did not play it for around a week due to work commitment, logged in to finally have a play, deposited £10, no issues, no checks, account was fully verified ( so it says ) . played my £10 and won a whole £60, not life changing money, just a small win, i withdrew it, all went through fine. Logged back in the following day to see my account was suspended for ID check, and the money revered, this actually goes against – LCCP 17.1.1(2) – A request made by a customer to withdraw funds from their account must not result in a requirement for additional information to be supplied as a condition of withdrawal..did say this to live chat agent who was clueless and just kept copy and pasting the same script too me, i also advised them – Bookmakers must not permit customers to gamble before they are verified and have up to 72 hours to request documents if this can’t be done automatically upon account opening.Thereafter, withdrawals mustn’t be denied.again just kept copy and pasting the same script. They did not release the funds so i will stick with bet365 as i never have a issue with them, too top it off, Betfair are still sending me promotional emails which is also against the law. I think betfair need to read up on the laws of gambling

They Gave me a free £2 Loyalty bet for the Exchange (even though Id only used the Sportsbook) but when I tried to use the bet on the exchange, it still debited £2 from my balance.So I got in touch with customer service after evading the silly robots they try to palm off on to people.I asked for a refund as Id made a mistake probably of my own doing, but even so I thought it would not be a problem.How wrong I was! The agent stated he had no power to refund my money. I did suggest he contact his manager as it wasn’t thousands of pounds I needed refunding – anyway, completely no joy, so from now on I will use other bookmakers as much as I can – So So Stupid!!

Bad, bad, bad. Don’t often leave poor reviews but there is nothing fair with betfair. Bonus feature is very poor, reels judder, wins are very poor. Gambling has the clue in its name and sometimes you win, sometimes you loose but, every other site out there is better than this one. I am sure I will get a responce about how they are independently checked and regulated but stay away, its not fun trying to play for fun on here. Very very poor site

No better than my last review unfortunately. £40, £50 in dead spins multiple bonuses that literaly paid £0.00!! This must be the new thing to guarantee the bookie profits. We deposit, play for a while in the hope of a bonus to recoup or even win a bit only to be shot down in flames with dead spins and a banner saying unlucky better luck next time, only to waste further money getting another bonus to be told…. you guessed it, the same thing better luck next time. When you think about it less people are playing as money becomes more difficult to manage. In the current climate the bookies still require their profits to operate so the only way they can maintain profit is to take the player for every penny as quick as possible just in case they do have a winner who needs to be paid out. I have today learnt a valuable lesson, if you feel lucky then go ahead play away however be prepared to lose…. a lot! Or like me make that decision to stop or use the safer gambling tools available but make sure you spend your hard earned money on something else. Happy New Year.

Avoid this site. Account closed without explanation, I have funds on there and can’t get to it. Documents sent in but apparently it’s not sufficient, customer service is non existent. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS: How are they getting away with this, UK law needs to get a grip and stop these fraudsters from taking advantage of the rules. They are getting with taking peoples money, Verification process is the key issue which tells me they are using the “documents not sufficient” bs to close peoples accounts and keep our money (my documents are valid on other sites, no issues). Avoid at all costs, if you’ve not had issue with them it’s only a matter of time.

I have £610.00 in my account with these scammers and they are using the fact that I have started using a new card (as my old one expired) and that because I have no deposits from this card they will not allow me to withdraw my monies on it. Clearly they are forcing people into a position where the only way to get their money back is to gamble with it. I have gone thru the totally pointless and useless WEBCHAT several times and am always promised a call back or contact from the finance team but this has NEVER HAPPENED. I have also tried to file a case with Resolver but it appears they will not respond to any cases filed with Resolver so I am now going to file a county court case as it appears this is the only way you can get your money back from this unscrupulous and disgusting company. And FYI Betfair I will keep posting on this website as there is a reason you have nearly 90% bad reviews on this site and you need outing for the thieves you are and to this end I will in my capacity as a journalist be contacting all the racing outlets to report your behaviour as they need to be made aware of all your victims out there.
