Lovely odds for Boris Johnson to become next UK Prime Minister

22 May 2019

The Brexit quagmire has greatly eroded the credibility of Therese May. The flames of her government are settling into cinders as she confirms that she would tender her resignation once MPs lend their support to her Brexit deal.

This opens the door to 10 Downing Street for the next prime minister of the UK. Leading the race for the next prime minister, we have Boris Johnson, the former foreign secretary. Boris has stamped the speculations with authenticity confirming his ambition to run for the coveted seat.

When the question was put to him at a Manchester business event if he aspires to be a candidate, the previous major of London replied: “Of course I’m going to go for it.”

Enigmatic and not scared to be undiplomatic strategically, Boris Johnson is a strong leader that mirror’s the United States’ President Trump – after all they all almost share the same charisma and hair color.

His leading candidature was also confirmed by a recent poll conducted by YouGov which revealed that 39% of party members prefer Boris Johnson to champion the Conservative leadership. There is a big distance in this regards between Boris and second place which goes to former Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab who garners a meager 13% support.
