The Seagulls would love nothing more than for Brighton to defeat Potter’s Chelsea. However, Brighton are yet to record a victory under new manager, Roberto De Zerbi.

Chelsea has won six and drawn four of their last ten competitive matches against Brighton. Since Graham Potter was left, the Seagulls have lost three of their last five games and are still waiting for their first win. On the other hand, Chelsea has won four and drawn twice in their last six games in all competitions, and are firm favourites to take all three points Saturday.
With an average of one goal per game and two away losses this season, Chelsea has not been at their best away from Stamford Bridge. But the Blues are still unbeaten in the Premier League under Potter and are on a good run of form. The form of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is a big part of the London team’s recent success. The Spaniard makes 4.2 saves on average each game, with a 91% success rate.

With 15 points from 11 games played, Brighton sit ninth in the Premier League table, failing to win any of their last five matches. In their last match, they fell to Manchester City 3-1 at the Etihad. Erling Haaland’s goal gave the home team the lead in the 22nd minute before he doubled the advantage just before the break. Leandro Trossard pulled one back eight minutes into the second half. However, Kevin De Bruyne’s goal in the 75th minute sealed the victory.

Brighton has struggled to score goals in recent matches, scoring only one goal in their last four games. Leandro Trossard, who has scored six of the Seagulls’ 15 goals this season and averages one shot on target per game, will try to get past Kepa’s defense.
