888Sports: Lovable 12/1 for Over 2.5 Arsenal goals and Over 5.5 Arsenal corners

14 January 2022

The Premier League has even got more delicacy to dish on Sunday when Tottenham welcome Arsenal to the White Hart Lane. Can we say both teams have the world to lose if any loses the match?

Rightly so! With the top four contest heating up, Arteta’s Arsenal risk being dumped out of the top four spots if they lose to Tottenham. For Antonio Conte, a victory over Arsenal and his team would gloriously glide into the top four.

How have both teams been faring so far? We will not be too quick to use the adjective “spectacular” to qualify Tottenham’s performance under Conte so far. “Solid” would be a more appropriate adjective.

Indeed, Tottenham has been pretty solid under Conte, with three victories and two draws in their last five games under the Italian tactician.

A stroll into the memory lane reveals that in the last 204 clashes between both sides in all competitions, Tottenham have won 66, Arsenal have won 84, with both teams sharing points on 54 occasions.

Arsenal had been enjoying a sweet run before their unfortunate 2-1 collapse against Man City. Despite ousting Aubameyang, Arteta’s team looked confident and tactically aware in large parts of the game against Man City.

Repeatedly, they took the initiative and held on to it against a side as daring as Man City. How well will they fair against Tottenham?

888Sport is giving you some lovable odds of 12/1 for Arsenal to score over 2.5 goals and record over 5.5 corners.

If your bet comes true, you would be dancing home with twelve times your stakes.
