PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL – SUPER SUNDAY – 7th OCTOBER 2018

Well “Super Sunday” today, but the weekend’s action got underway early yesterday morning with a ton of stories about the likely sacking of Jose Mourinho and for 70 minutes yesterday, the axe looked likely to drop and may well still do so.

However, a rousing second half fightback by the Red Devils saw the “Theatre of Dreams” spring into life in the 70th minute and the game had an inevitability about it as soon as Mata scored.

After this it was wave upon wave of attack, and it was left to another individual (Alexis Sanchez) who has been heavily criticised in recent weeks to come to the rescue in the dying minutes with a deft header.

Today’s paper talk suggests that something is happening at Old Trafford.

The under pressure Man Utd boss was as short as 1/7 yesterday morning (Saturday) to be the first Premier League manager to leave his post. This is despite the club reporting that rumour’s of Mourinho’s imminent dismissal are ‘nonsense’.

The next couple of days will be interesting inside the power halls of Old Trafford.

Saturday round up

Bournemouth moved up into a lofty 5th spot after destroying Watford 4-0 and the Cherries are now starting to find their feet with confidence sky high after a great run of games.

Everton grabbed a priceless away result and three points against Leicester. The Foxes were reduced to 10 men and that made the difference with Gylfi Sigurdsson’s 50th premier League goal being an absolute stunner and contender for goal of the season.

Tottenham scraped through 1-0 at home to a dogged Cardiff team who will be upset not to have come away with a draw.

Pocchetino’s men are not playing at the same level as last season and will need to improve if they are to make a concerted challenge for then title.

Wolves beat the Eagles 1-0 at Selhurst Park and are proving to be a strong addition to the league. The Eagles had the majority of possession but could not turn home advantage into goals and ultimately feel to their 5th league defeat of the season.

In the other game, it was a drab affair, but Huddersfield did well to come from a goal down to grab a point and will be pleased with their afternoons work. It may just give them that bit of confidence they have been lacking so far this season.

Super Sunday

All eyes will be on the top of the table clash between Liverpool and Man City, and this promises to be a classic with Liverpool at home and the “Citizens” being sure not to hold back, and there should be plenty of goals.

While that game takes centre stage, we have two other games and Arsenal are ticking along quietly and getting results. Today see’s them take on Fulham in a London derby and they could quite easily notch their 6th win on the bounce.

The other game on Sunday see’s Southanpton host Chelsea in what will likely be a tough game for “The Saints”

Super Sunday Match Analysis and Betting Tips

Liverpool vs Manchester City

Something has to give here in the race for the Premier League title? Will Klopp’s side have a psychological edge and will they be able to contain a City side who have to come out fighting.

This game has goals written all over it and with Liverpool having a great home record and City having a great away record, we could be in for a high scoring draw.

While there are plenty of bridges to be crossed before the champions are crowned in May, there is no doubt this could have a significant bearing on the title race. Both teams remain unbeaten so will it be the case after today’s match.

Best Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 9/5 with Unibet

Match Stats and Analysis

– Liverpool are unbeaten in 17 home matches against Man City in all competitions (W12 D5) since losing 2-1 at Anfield in the Premier League in May 2003.

– Both Liverpool and Man City are unbeaten in their opening seven Premier League games this season – this is the latest meeting between two unbeaten sides in the competition since 2011-12 when Man City and Newcastle met in their 12th game of the season.

– Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in each of their last eight Premier League home games – only in February 2007 (nine games) have they had a longer such run in the competition.

– Manchester City have lost only one of their last 25 Premier League away matches (W20 D4), though it was in this exact fixture last season (3-4).

Fulham vs Arsenal

A fascinating early kick off in London with Arsenal going for a sixth straight win. Fulham are taking plenty of risks in their games and hopefully that will be rewarded come the season’s end with a spot in next years Premiership.

However, the quality of Arsenal should come through in what looks likely to be an entertaining game.

Both teams are not great in terms of defence so this could be another high scoring game with the Gunners expected to edge it by a single goal

Best Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 11/10 with Betfair

Southampton vs Chelsea

The Saints are still struggling and they have only taken a couple of points in home games, those coming against the likes of Burnley, Leicester and Brighton, in turn surrendering a two goal lead. Confidence is low at St Mary’s and with Chelsea having beaten poor teams like Huddersfield and Newcastle, there should be only one result with Eden Hazrd on fire.

Best Bet: Eden Hazard to score anytime at 5/4 with Paddy Power, Skybet, Ladbrokes and Coral.

Enjoy “Super Sunday” and we’ll see who will be sitting on the summit of the Premier League later this evening.

Took my real money when it stated I was…Took my real money when it stated I was playing with my bonus money. At no point did I click to play with real money. Deposited £200 to receive £200 bonus. Continuous loses of my bonus money on the spins led me to blackjack (£275 in my account) I placed 2 £25 bets and lost. I tried to withdraw my real money only to see my account has been reduced to £25. At this point they conveniently switched my loses from bonus money to real money. After 1hr on live chat we move on by emails. 4 days later a reply from customer service that if you place a bet higher than £10 (which I placed 2 £25 bets on blackjack) you lose your bonus (£200) clause 10.1.Honestly what absolute nonsense, what kind of casino limits your bets at £10? Absolute scam
