Recently moved area, and started to visit local bookmakers, which was a William Hill. Placed a few bets, some win some lose. Then placed a £500 bet on fobt machine on a football match. Bet won at 7/10. Went to collect winnings, and was refused payment. Staff said they didn’t know why, but said it has happened a few times recently. They phoned customer service, who said it was because of ‘suspected money-laundering’, and was with their fraud department. They asked for id, which I provided, as I wanted my money, even though I do not need to give it. 4 days later they contacted me, asking for id again, and a copy of my betting slip. All they are doing is illegally using the pretence of fraud, to obtain more information about you. I am still waiting to be paid out a week later. I will never be using one of their shops again, and would recommend others do the same.

Absolute con site. I was winning small amounts of money from theirs promotions and free games and managed to get to £300, then they stopped all access to promotions without any reason being given. William Hill is one of the most unfair bookies in the UK. Gambling customers should avoid them! Have been with William Hill for years. They have restricted me from their bonus which I find shocking and concerning. Have asked them why is, but they don’t want to tell me the reason why. Which baffled me. I haven’t breached any rules for sure. If so, they would have suspended me. The money I use to gamble I can afford it. For some reason, I just cannot win on their website, no matter what. I had two winnings in the past which I withdrew. A couple of days after I logged into William Hill I saw about £80 in my account, another time have won and made a withdrawal to my account and got about £90 or £80 extra on top. Have spoken to William Hill customer service and asked why that extra money was added to my account. They never answered the questions. They avoided the questions and never explained. The two times I got that extra cash have noticed that the slots I were playing got interrupted and closed automatically. Whenever I restart them they should continue the play but didn’t. The slots and games are controlled which makes it impossible to win from them. They never used to be like this. Their algorithm is adjusted so it’s impossible. These slots on gambling sites need to be reviewed thoroughly. No fair play, it’s online the bookies keep winning and not customers. If spend hours online they use it as punishment and never win. While they keep taking away customers’ money. Every time I logged into William Hill hell began.I will have to make a complaint regarding that extra money which I saw in my account since they refused to explain. If I cannot get a valid reason. I will complain to the higher authorities.

Watched them withhold over £7000 from a man and call the police on him TWICE when he tried to collect his winnings in cash even though they let him bet £2500 in cash with no issue. I just saw these jokers on a YouTube upload where they refused to pay a guy his winnings and called the police on him, the only way they said they would pay was by bank card he used cash for the bet but said they only wanted his bank details so they could run checks on him and his financial life to try and sway the win. I am a new customer to william hill. I won 61 pounds with a mix of bets and some free spins games. I decided to withdraw 55 pounds and that is when the fun and games have begun. They stopped the winnings from going into my bank account and froze my william hill account completely. They asked me to confirm my I.d with them to complete the transaction which I have done including a copy of my English passport being held in front of my face and a bank statement and other bits but this is still not enough for them. William hill uses bonuses to block you from cashing out during games to make you lose more than what you receive. On fly x you place a bet and you can cash out any time as the meter rises, but at any time the game can end and any unclaimed bets will lose. during a £10 bet, a promotion prize popup of £1 blocked me from cashing out during the game and by the time the pop up had ended, the game had ended and i had lost my bet. do not play or give them money!

Rigged big time, I wouldn’t even send my worst enemy on this. Their slots totally rigged. U can put 10k if u like and return with 0. At the end of the week if what u have put is bigger they don’t give u anything back they play blind. If u put 1k u get 30something back, how is that even calculated? Their machine will log u out this days for no reason while the game is still on, once it did that u will catch nothing they will clean up your account within a second. They need to be checked again including how much each person have put in their business and how much did the person receive in return. This is absolutely cheating. Having net deposits of -800 William Hill restricted my sports bets to mere pennies with no explanation other than ‘traders decision’ I obviously asked this to be escalated but was met with the same stock response. I am surprised William hill have any customers the way they treat people.Been a customer for year’s but the other day I tried to put a £5 bet on a horse and it said stake too high.Then tried £4 and then £1 but still said stake too high.Complained but told I can still bet on game’s and casino’s of which I said I do not bet on game’s and casino’s.They didn’t really give me a explanation of why I couldn’t bet on horse racing except too say it was above them.So I have now closed my account.What away to treat a customer of year’s.I advised anybody that has had this experience too close there account and bet elsewhere.

I have been with William Hill for a long time now, was inactive for quite a while but more active in the last year or so, and I must say to me personally they are one of the best ones out there. Occasionally they drop £1 for me to play on games, I know it’s not that much but still. I also win 8 times out of 10 at least on the bonus drop. Also tend to win on most slots I play. Never ever had any problems with depositing or withdrawing. Smooth and reliable.
