I won on spins and just as I was collecting my money the site went down for essential maintenance. As you can guess there was no record of my winnings although I do have a screenshot of when the site went down. I chatted to 3 different advisors online but on 2 occasions that cut off too as they was experiencing technical difficulties.. Totally a waste of time and money. I wouldn’t recommend this site what so ever.

It’s fun to play their games, even if I don’t get any decent sized payouts. People play to win, but gambling should just be about the fun. In my experience, I’ve never got a decent win from Betfred, but it’s still good playing their games.

This reviews pertains to their online website – awfully slow at paying out waiting over 30 mins to settle bets sometime, also their website sometime is NOT updated for betting in play i have noticed on the golf odds showing for the day before odds and not current in playing betting which could not be found anywhere – i did complain over the phone to ‘John’ who just hung up on me and then i wrote a letter to Fred Done who never replied this shows what they think of their customers basically not much, its now over 35mins and still a £1 winning forecast has not been settled with all the money they have you think they can afford to have a working website.to update its been over 3 hrs and my winning straight forecast bet for £1 still have not been settled!

Unwilling to remove my self-exclusion after the time period has elapsed. Saying they are not unlocking these accounts and a new business decision will be looked at in January 2023

I saw an advert for Betfred and decided to download the app. I am not really a betting man but looking at the Irish Lottery I noticed that they where giving odds on the bonus ball being even of 66/1 and of it being odd of 50/1 so i deposited £75.75 on even showing a return of £5075.75 and £80 on odd showing a return of £4080.00. Betfred accepted my bet and listed my returns. Later in the day I received an email saying after an internal review they where putting certain blocks on my account. I checked my account to find they had marked my bets as won but just paid my stake back. Not being happy I phoned betfred to complain, after some delay with the operator checking with her manager she returned to say the bet had been voided as it was a clear and obvious error. My bet did not show void but showed won so I told the lady I wished to speak to management as I wished to take my case to the Ombudsman again after a short delay she informed me that the complaint had been registered and I could not take it to the Ombudsman as their protocol is that complaints would have to contact me first and somebody would be in touch within 72hrs.It is now 7 days later and nobody has been in touch. How this company can get away with this is beyond me.

I started using this site a few weeks ago. The odds are decent compared to others. And they pay out reasonably fast. That’s the good points over. Now the bad. Firstly I dont like how the live updates to the footy scores on the in play takes absolutely ages to update they was at least 15 mins behind on score on several occasions but there odds and cash outs change instantly. I complained about this and they play the terms and conditions card. It states in terms and conditions in play can be behind and not up to date fair enough a minute or so but 15 mins is a joke.Secondly the horse betting is a joke. They take bets on each way and then when horses drop out and the each way is either cut from that race or shorter then when you bet they refuse a refund and play the terms and condition card again. If there is no each way a refund for any bet on each way should be given pathectic con artist.And same applies to non runners.Also the cash out is a joke to comes and goes as they please offers very little and also cuts of at a certain point unlike many betting sites.That was enough for me I’ve since left in my opinion out of the sites am on and been on this is the worst for how they handle bets in play is a joke. Much better out there guys.Also the customer service is atrocious.

Do not play especially slots.it won’t let your winnings go above £10 and then it will just rinse you of everything without even getting any free spins.and what I find it does is when there’s 3 of the free spins symbols ready to drop in it will spin longer so it misses it.I deposited 2 £10’s,in the end I was so bored of not getting any where I just wanted to get off the game.I won’t be depositing no more they will just take your money.

They actually give you the promo offer for free £20 in lotto in an email AFTER you make your £5 deposit and you need to enter a promo code, so it’s too late then. Very dishonest.

Have to confirm with other reviewers – tried a lot of their games and only once got a positive (minimal) return – every game would take 5 to 10 turns of zero return before winning. Net amount was ALWAYS below zero. Their algorithm was pure positive return – technically they legally have to return 96% but their actual return ensures no loss – very unimpressed and done enough tests to confirm this.

Betfred are an excellent betting company. Never had any real problems. They have always paid out swiftly. Had some issues with promotion or two a while back but maybe I just hadn’t opted in. Daily promotion is fine, never had any issues.

I will join the other players who say this site is fraud. I played a couple of hundred on games and got nothing but empty spins. This site will fall on its a** soon enough. Gambling sites should pay people back their money like the PPI insurance scams. I can see it going down this way if enough people complain about it. I used to play with betfred years ago,played poker mostly. They was no problems in them days with withdrawals or the site layout. I’ve just recently this past month been playing again on betfred. It’s the slots I mostly play nowadays. We’ll I deposit a small bit recently and actually win 210 pounds.Go to draw out with me thinking maybe a few hrs max payout like most sites these days,and nothing yet and it 2 days waiting.It’s not good at all,having to wait all this time,will they pay me at all? I will be taking action if no payout by tomorrow. Would Not recommending this site to anyone, as the site layout not easy to work round.It’s so annoying having to change cash to chips and chips to cash for a withdrawal.
