Betfred fails to safeguard customers then block your account. They say they are following UK gambelling pecedures but this is false. Take them to small claims court as many others are. Don’t give up!! Ibas and gambelling commission can’t get your money back but they can fine better. small claims court is the way to go

Place a £10 bet at odds of 1/1 (2.0) or greater. Betfred will then credit your account with £30 in free bets + 30 free spins. This is the advert I read and used to register with Betfred….I placed 2 £10 bets. I contacted Betfred to ask where my £30 free bets would be in my account only to be told…my 1st £10 bet…not a £10 bet had to be at odds of 1/1 or greater so as my 2nd bet was I didn’t qualify….DONT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE….DO NOT HONOUR THEIR ADVERTS!!!

Stay clear… found a rhythm where a select few people which I think are bots that win on what number etc…. Stop playing at Betfred, they are scammers. They failed to protect me when i was vulnerable, they let you lose crazy amount of money then block you, they didn’t check if could afford losing the money. I already started a court case against them, Gambling Commission already fined them for that, and i have full support from them in court.Everyone that has been scammed or not beeing properly protected and not asked for affordability checks , should complain to gambling commission and take them to small claims court, if enough people do this, they will get their license revoked, as they already been fined a couple of times

Betfred just on a commercial. Bet safe. Bet to your pocket. These where never said until the machines came in. They are the addictive games why people are in debt NOT racing. Also he says value we give value. He boosts favourites. 6% of the field and the other 94% of punters who don’t do favourites basically dont care about you.He also does a virtual double and his presenters say its worth £10 or £20. What one virtual favourites. Wasting money which makes Fred an hypocrite saying if you have a gambling problem. Ridiculous. Lastly Bet fred bingo. Is rigged. In fact the last person who only won the ever Jackpot had to go to court because he refused not to pay it out. Was allowed to open a second account with Betfred after my first account was closed. Was able to deposit over £5000 over a 2 week period without any verification or source of income. I have a gambling problem, I can admit that. The fact that Betfred allowed me to open a second account after the first one was shut I believe is criminal. I have since signed up to Gamstop. I will continue to make more and more noise about this until Betfred accept responsibility that I should never have been able to open a second account.

Goliath bet doesn’t work. 5p stake is too high as potential returns are high, but 4p stake is too low?? Impossible to place one on decent size odds Too many unnecessary bet types available App and website crashes far too often

Signed up deposited was in the middle of playing then got kicked won’t let me play account frozen id requested id has been provided but no response apparently they need I id for age verification I’m signed up to a few other sites 0 problems I’m also on the electoral register and experian so they can do it electronically apparently I failed the electronic verification which is 100% not true as they use experian and electronic register to do this both of which I’m signed up for as a new customer this is very frustrating and even though I have provided id I will just play off my ballance and not play again the website is super super slow takes ages for anything to load when I have a 10k gaming pc and 1gb download and 1gb upload so it’s clearly betfreds problem

I joined through an add, saying that you can get £20 bonus if you bet £10 on sports at odds greater than 2.0. They just want you in the system, to bet…after that no bonus, they had total amnesia!?Stay away…and their app features are crap, no cash out option during my live game. They want only your money…nothing to give back(like the bonus they advertise if you join Betfred). And something else, I don’t understand how a company which is earning millions/billions is not able to get a proper app and solve the log in issues. A small update…after I wrote this review, they offered me another bonus of £10…no, no, no…you catched me one time with misleading advertising! Disappointed with my experience at Betfred, but my finger is king? and will stop pressing the buttons on Betfred app.?

Absolute con. Signed up with a bonus. Never got the bonus and was told that I had gone onto the wrong game even though I had a screenshot of the promotion and the games was not even on there platform.

Misleading advertisingI’ve just registered with them and I’ve completed all steps that states on the welcome bonus offer but didn’t get my bonus. Contacted their costumer service once regarding this problem but when I’ve explained they said that I am not eligible for the welcome bonus without any other explanation and disconnected straight away. Awful customer service. They will not see any of my money ever again and I will raise this matter to gambling comission and make a formal complaint for misleading advertising as I got proof of everything what I say

I placed a £11.05 bet on Thursday 29th in the 12.20 @Limerick. For whatever reason,i was unable to view the raceI had a similar incident two years earlier when i staked a £100 bet on a race from Ireland;again for whatever the reason,i was unable to watch that race too.Prior to that race on the 29th at Limerick,i was able to watch and place bets on meetings from Kelso,and the Vaal in South Africa on the same day from the same provider,Racing TV without any issues.When i suggested a one off goodwill gesture,would you be able to refund my bet,i was greeted with a stern no and passed the buck onto the service provider,same as what happened two and a half years ago.They seemed disinterested in helping the customer,their agenda is profits before customer service and therefore going forward will take my business elsewhere whete they appreciate my custom and have more reliable feed of races

I won money, withdrew £60, thinking it had gone into my account, which I deposited the monies in from, only to be informed 2 days later that it hadn’t and betfred apparently couldn’t put it into that account, so transferred it into the betfred account, I don’t think this is a great way to do it as it encourages bigger gambling.

I won a simple double bet of 9/1 of £10 stake and to my amusement… they claimed that one of the games got abandoned in the 87th min with the scores at 1-1 lool (the bet was for two selections to draw). so they voided that selection. i asked for proof that the game was abandoned and there reply was “proof is online” which to the contray, shows the game infact finished 1-1. but what ever. i havent lost and i have gained the knowledge of not betting with them again. They are one of the few bookies i have come across that dont offer an automatic “cool off/ time out” period in an attempt to prevent customers from stopping so easily. end of the day… if you choose to play with them…. then what happens after that is on you.

Absolute joke of a company. On quite a few occasions when picking up my winnings they offered me less than I was owed. It took the staff to phone up to rectify the situation and pay me what I was owed. They are chancers and on the rare occasions that you win you still get screwed. As I always get ripped off by this corrupt company I started to write down how many places they were giving e/w on my lucky 15. Lo and behold I came 4th at 100-1 on a race that said paying 4 places to be told they only paid 3 places. I asked for evidence as their tv board at the bookies clearly stated 4 places. Their response was “I doubt it as it was a handicap race”. The company is not only corrupt but totally ret arded. DO NOT USE THIS BETFRAUD

The only way to guarantee you’re not handing over your hard-earned is to either not sign up or self-exclude, given that the Freds won’t countenance a simple account closure by a customer.
