My mother signed up they didn’t state terms and conditions and because she used a different card they closed her account and refusing to give her money to her! She suffer with bad ill health and mental health and caused her to have a massive flare up with self harm! I will be taking these matters further. AVOID THIS SITE!

Betfred are a disgrace. they have no idea what money gamblers have to gamble and choose to treat every gambler with the same attitude. If you are losing regularly they will let you gamble all the time, no problem. If you are winning from them regularly they will block your account and say “contact them about safe gambling limits”!!! They will only do this to you when you have money in their account. They do not block your account when they do not have any of your money in their account! Trying to access your money they have blocked is stealing from you, even if you eventually get your money back. They have misplaced your trust in their company. No other business would get away with this but bookies do! BETFRED, bad news, avoid them.

Whilst the site is excellent..your return offers are very poor .. I use two other sites .every time you deposit £10 you get 50 free spins ..on your and same sites only offer that deal once .. and that’s for new customers only .. if you offered more for deposit I would most likely stay with Betfred .I was extremely disappointed with one of your games were you needed more than 4 scatters to get bonus ..I used Up to £10 trying to get scatters .not once did they appear.. very disappointing.. cash collect games are the worst .. virtually no chance of winning on them so I just don’t bother anymore .. your games are the same as others ..very very difficult to get bonus or free spins in your games.. it’s almost you don’t like letting customers have them .. Race event Kochi race 8, number 11 horse was a non runner so was unable to bet on betfred site, but horse 11 won the race. Got screen shots of this scam, forwarded to gambling authority for cheating.Gambling companies need more severe punishments for false data, manipulating odds by my experience.Betfred should be shutdown and investigated done it once they have done it before.

Went to cash out 43p from a losing bet and it was loading the credit, then it froze and went to 13p so I pressed on cash out again so it froze once more and the cash out disappered. You know how they take your money, scamming tactics. Also odds changes of 4/7 on a tennis player a set down in the 2nd set, the player won the set and the odds changed to 8/11?? On a 50p minimum bet you think they would be fair.

Placed a bet on virtual race but mistakenly put the wrong meeting,the staff member altered my bet to the next race that meeting without telling me and that wasn’t even up on the screen at the time but insisted later I had agreed to the change. Virtuals don’t offer time to look properly before they are off.Customer services just lied and said I had agreed to the change even though no conversation took placeThe shops seem deliberately confusing and short time allowance which seem bent on just getting your money nowAfter years as a customer such poor service means I will never enter Betfred again and would advise others to do the same is you want fair honest service

Cannot be trusted to do things honestly. They very very ofton change their own rules after a bet has been placed.For example they have the little red cashout symbol showing on a tennis market, so you think this is a cash out market. You then place the bet and there is no cashout offered and when the match starts the cashout is not actually available. When asking about it there is the standard moron response that its a traders decision. That shouldnt be legal and is definitely immoral. To pretend a market has something available but then on accepting bets they change it. It happens more often than not and is immoral beyond belief. Its not only on todays date and is the same on many markets.

I was allowed to open a second account with Betfred after my first account was closed. This is against their own terms and conditions. I had forgotten that I had already had an account which was closed. Was able to deposit over £5000 over a 2 week period without any verification or source of income. I have a gambling problem, I can admit that. The fact that Betfred allowed me to open a second account after the first one was shut I believe is criminal. Both IBAS and the Gambling Commission agree that I should not have been able to open a second account but both say they can do nothing. Surely there is someone out there that can stop BetFred from doing this.

Stop playing at Betfred, they are scammers. They failed to protect me when i was vulnerable, they let you lose crazy amount of money then block you, they didn’t check if could afford losing the money. I already started a court case against them, Gambling Commission already fined them for that, and i have full support from them in court.Everyone that has been scammed or not beeing properly protected and not asked for affordability checks , should complain to gambling commission and take them to small claims court, if enough people do this, they will get their license revoked, as they already been fined a couple of times

I like the layout and it is easy to navigate between my bets i.e. horse racing and games, it would be advantageous to have the colour of gaps on the betting slip.

After having a bookmakers for over 20 year id consider myself as pretty clued up gambling wise,betfred v myself has been a battle for years in derbyshire,nottinghamshire area in 2013 i had a trixie made £7500 after that date i had to send a friend in to get me a bet on,2015 trixie antepost cheltenham vautour,faugheen,and waiting for briar hill (fell) woulda made 90k made 8k..2016/2028 haggas horses 1 lucky 15 up made 6k…3 outta 4 made 13k….now all of a sudden if i even entered a betfred it was like id got a gun under my coat to rob the place it was funny….now in 2022 they said i could have a bet in my local shop so i did the staff were really pleasant and well mannered for wot they got paid but they still got to much abuse for to little pay after 6 month i got the letter even tho i showed them my savings account it wasnt enough so i had to stop betting in there,so tried a couple diffrent shops told them i was a monitored customer and i did manage to get a couple winning bets before i was told no more…the staff were great same old same old the managers just clueless and think its theyr own money theyr loosing

The WORST experience i have ever had in my life !!
I Joined on Sunday 8/1/23 to place a bet on Man City in the FA cup – I used my husbands bank card as we have joint accounts – I deposited total £1120 – 3 amounts of £420 / £450 & £250

The deposits all were immediately cancelled so no bets were placed – BETTHIEVES then immediately closed the account

After hours & hours of messaging chat / email / phone calls BETTHIEVES told me they are keeping all the deposited money – yea the full £1120 as the name on the card was my husbands and not mines stating he had been self excluded years before , so apparently in there “small print license terms” they are allowed to just steal your deposited cash although no bets were placed and everything immediately cancelled ?????

Beware!!! police say it’s a civil matter although they do give a crime incident number – The gambling commission take interest as they have done but state “will not get your cash back” they will investigate there licences terms tho
Trading standards / citezens advice do take reports but also say it’s civil small claims court
Lastly iBAS (betting adjudication service) say they rule for the deposits to be returned however the company do not do it !!!

Unbelievable in this day and age a company can violate and just steal from you 100% THEFT in every single way !!

When I log on with my laptop no issues. Downloaded BETFRED app on my phone. I can never log in to as it always states incorrect password. Also tried to call contact number never got an answer on one occasion on phone for 40mins. Good website though

Deposited and played on a game called Betfred Christmas megaways. What an absolute waste of time. This game hardly gives you the feature and when it did, it frozen and you had to reload the game again. Also when playing the same game I had tumbling reels with a win and it froze during it, I had to go back and reload it and nothing was added to my balance. I have never experienced such shocking play from a game. The money I deposited didn’t bother me to lose, but to play a game with it constantly freezing, playing slow and having to switch it back to the home page on occasions I got the feature, well this is just terrible. I’ve lost on this game that I’m not bothered about, but I’m not throwing money away on something as bad as this.
