There are several reasons why my experience has been good. Mainly the ease of information regarding my spending plus, also, the general structure of the site. I have yet to find how to log out immediately though.

Opted into two promotions which were advertised to me, placed the bets and never received the free bets which the promotion offered. Went to the livechat to inquire, the support staff named Adam B was condescending to me and put all the blame on me without an offer to rectify the situation. Hire people who have customer service experience, not people who speak to customers in a condescending way like Adam B.

Spent over 500 on this site. 1 bonus on the slots thats it shocking. Played these lucky tap games they are ridiculous 20 turns at 90p and receive 45p and 90p back. In 20 turns. The betting is very confusing so i didnt put a bet and used alternative easier site for that. 0 stars for the lack of bonus and the fact your money does not last on this site! I should of read all the reviews first because they are not wrong in how bad of a site this is.

My partners card was not working on the site, so she used our shared Apple Pay account and it used my debit. She managed to make £425 from a 50 quid deposit and she woke up and they had deleted her account without a warning on text, email or anything else. When we’ve spoke to the team the girl I spoke to on Live chat ‘Caitlin N’ was completely unprofessional and blunt throughout the conversation and told me that the account was deleted and the money that was inside it is now gone and we aren’t getting it back. After disputing this with the betfred team about the misunderstanding, still told no and now lost £425 quid.

Loyalty and customer service is terrible.I had an account for a while and use it regular – one week I’m told I didn’t opt into the promotion and so I don’t get the spins when I 100% did opt in.I then asked for my account to be reviewed as I am never offered any promotional things and I’m told I’m not due anything even tho I used the account a lot and for a long time.Won’t be depositing anymore unless they sort this out and advise you not to bother as well.Other sites are far better value for money

As an Irish resident, you can download their app and deposit funds from an Irish account, even verify your ID as an Irish citizen but when you win and try to withdraw they will tell you that you cannot withdraw funds to an Irish card. Despite taking money from one. No where does it mention this. Company is a fraud.

Gambled in shop with Betfred for over a decade, have made 2 complaints about my experience in that duration, once for being sworn and shouted at (No banter involved) and a 2nd time last week after a catalogue of failures involving bet settlement on their part. After the 1st incident they offered me a free bet of a tenner, which I never accepted nor asked for, this time I received an email where they managed to open with spelling my surname incorrectly (Despite it being clearly visible on my email address). Anyway, a week later and I’ve heard nothing more, as a former “Explicit Standards Manager” in this field I can safely say Betfred, from my experience are comfortably the worst of any high street bookmakers available. The in shop experience is appalling, as a long standing customer I can say with absolute conviction I shall not be returning.

I was allowed to use Betfred even though I was registered with gamstop, I was allowed to bet as i please , and not even asked for any documents and my account was never verified….I have been pointed in the right direction by the right people to take further action against Betfred ….

Terrible, they take money from your bank account even though you have a set deposit limit per day, 3 times in one day so had to get in touch with my bank as spoke to their customer service and she couldn’t explain how or why. Promotions are rubbish and the bonus games are none existent…

Don’t think the layout of the system is user friendly. Horse racing bets not clear as to what has won etc and a hassle getting into them. Skybet system is much more efficient. You know what position your bets are in with one click of a button

So 3 years ago my self isolation ended with gamstop, I have been using betfred again for a while now however I opted in on a promotion however they didn’t give me the bonus. I contacted them and they advised me they were closing my account because I’d used the safer gambling tools previously.This is downright disgusting that that they banning players who use the features they have a responsibility to promote.Vile company who have ignored my questions regarding this.Avoid!

For live casino’s its good havent tried others but does need more choice of live games for example monoply live crazy time etc dont really like the cash to chips system i dont see the point of it and could do with faster withdrawal times

With there promotions they tend to use clever ways not to pay out, such as if you bet on the same race but on different slips they will not pay out on the promotion….other companies are less nasty/obtuse regarding this. They ruined my fun. Dont let them r uin yours. Ask yourself, can you really trust this company. For me it’s a NO!

Very upset with this company regarding their recent Cheltenham festival offer. I signed up for an account because the promotion was great. I places my required stake of £10+ on Tuesday’s 2nd race of the festival (to which would give me £40 in free bets). The FAQ’s said that it would take up to 10 hours to credited. after their first day there was nothing which is fine because it is such a busy time of year. we are now sat on Thursday evening, with one day left of the festival and still nothing. I have reached out through email, twitter, Twitter DM’s, live chat and have been ignored at every avenue. I completely understand this is a busy and stressful time for betting companies but being unable to deliver on heavily advertised sign up offer and not even being able to reply to queries is very disappointing

Joined betfred for the Cheltenham What an awful company.All free bets to be paid out within 10 hours of settled slips. Easy to access and easy to understand. Lots of little offers to give a little bit extra. Quick settlement into my account when I win. I never seem to be able to access the live stream though. I can generally watch the races live on TV.

Customer Services should be renamed Customer Insults. Staff at Betfred are dreadful. Probably trained to extract every penny from punters and use every trick in the book to refuse proper payout. God knows how they keep a Gambling Licence. Avoid.

I’m a regular gambler to the casino and sports, iv enjoyed my time with bet Fred until last night when I decided to have a go at bingo,, I actually had a couple of small wins, and then it started,, I played a game that was for 1,2,3,4,5 lines, I got 3 lines up and yet game carried on, then prize went to someone else, what the hells happening, is my win not registering?.. Then I got 4 lines up and yet again no acknowledgement, then 5, lines and still nothing, it was like my tickets were invisible, I know I payed for tickets because I had confirmation and if I hadn’t it wouldn’t have auto filled the numbers like it was doing, I estimated wins off 3 and 4 and 5 lines amounted to just over £100,,im gobsmacked this could happen,, 5 mins later the bingo room was unable to connect, what a suprise,, I spend a £1000 a week and this is a drop in the ocean on the bingo site but its wrong what’s happened, this sort of thing shouldn’t be allowed to happen

I placed a £10 bet on the first race at Cheltenham on the 14/03/2023, to qualify for the Betfred £40 free bets “offer”. ‘Receive your free bets within 10 hours of the bet being settled’ they stated. After being reassured on their Customer Chat facility that I would receive my free bets, I was very disappointed when after 15 hours, still no sign of them. Not happy

The app could do with an update. Sometime when I open the app it gets stuck on finding location which is really annoying. The betslip and cash out screens are clunky and dated and the live scores do not update fast enough compared to sky bet and B365.

After having experienced nothing but loss on this site and after reading some of the reviews, I’m no longer using Betfred. There slots are terrible, they don’t give you that fun factor, people play for fun, your slots are not fun and they can not be regulated by the UK gambling commission, played on the same games but just a different site and guess what we have some fun and little wins, even get the bonus thrown in too. Your customer service is rude on live chat. They say when signing up free bets etc, I haven’t seen or had a free bet or any free spins for my loyalty towards this site been playing since last year and they cant offer you anything, apart from the promos which you have to deposit and play to get some free spins. Where is your LOYALTY BETFRED? 6 months and over and you can’t even offer some free spins/ free bet. I’ve learnt not to be a fool and I won’t be wasting any more of my time or money on this site.

Use 2 methods to deposit one a debit card other paypal.Took deposits no problem then I won an accumulator (only £100) soon as I tried to withdraw closed my account with no explanation. On contacting them they spouted some gumph about 3rd party being involved. Keeping in mind it was the 2 deposit options used umpteen times before the win and withdrawal with no mention. Soon as you win BANG! AVOID. Who protects the user in this instance??

ill never give a site 1 star but i feel im pushing it with two on this one,ill start off with the sports side of it,im on the betting site around 7 weeks now,ive did a range of different bets ranging from accums to corners not yet have i had any cash out on any bet i spoke with livechat and they explained it would need to have a red circle next to it so today i made sure to do a 5 team accum all with a red circle next to it but lowanbehold no cashout option, i decided tonight to venture out into the slots side of it & went with doghouse at 20p spins it took a grand total of 2576 spins before i got a bonus it gave me £1 for getting into it i earned 11 spins and finished with £1.79 a few minutes later i got another bonus this time 13 spins i finished with £1.04 i left £90 down theyll say slots are fair and regulated, regulated yes! fair? certainly not to the customer in my current experience ill be closing my account as between the non cashout options and the awful slot i had enough

I placed a £10 bet to get a £40 bonus, in theory very generous, my £10 staked bet lost but the bonus was no where to be seen, I did instant chat and flabagasted to be told there Was already an account at this address that had taken the bonus, I said I have no account and I moved into this address on 6th January this year, they told me sorry makes no difference, I asked for my tenner back to which I was told if I had called them first they would’ve told me, I’ve never heard such nonsense, please be aware you are not scammed by this company, there are more better and reliable companies more honest than dodgy Fred.
