I do enjoy Betfred don’t get me wrong, and I think it is a good site, However…I have deposited thousands and just recently £400 to literally get no bonus games, and win a measly £25 on one spin that was it. I think the RTP definitely needs looking into as I feel it’s not very fair… i completely understand that Betfred is a business and like all businesses need to make money so does Betfred. But how can it be justified when you deposit £600 in the space of an hour, play £2-6 spins and literally win nothing, I spent £200 and didn’t win a single spin!

DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY WITH THEM.Opened an account, played mainly online slot, with 2 or 3 football bets. I had deposited maybe 2 or 3 hundred. I had not withdrawn anything. I logged in to see how my football bets getting on….they had locked me out. I contacted customer services assuming I needed to verify address or something similar, they told me they had closed my account and did not want my custom!!!???!!! Literally let me open my account and closed it within 24 hours. Absolute jokers. Wouldn’t even refund my bet. No problems with sky, paddy power or livescore who have been helpful. Betfred are the worst of the lot.

Betfred accepted my account, took a deposit, accepted a bet (which won) and then closed my account and refuse to release the balance or even refund the deposit.No explanation. Tried chat and emailed support. Received just “Sadly, we have closed your account. The balance will remain in the closed account”. Asked for an explanation and received just the same blank response.I have an account with Virginbet and Skybet with no issues but had decided to try Betfred for a change. I am quite happy for them to close the account. That is their right. I will even accept that they took my account and deposit in error but to refuse to refund the original deposit is wrong. It’s simply theft.

I have been a member of Betfred for about 2 years now. However I was made to feel small and disappointed when, completely out of the blue, my account was closed. I was given no warning or prior notification of this decision. I was playing then went out for a bit and when I tried to log back I couldn’t. When I contacted help,I was told my account had been closed and when I asked for explanation, I was told in no uncertain terms, that Bet Fred did not feel any obligation, or have any inclination to offer any reason or explanation whatsoever. I am still confounded as to why my account was closed like this. I did not give any trouble in the bingo chat rooms, I did not deposit excessively or spend all my waking hours on the site,which I know some people do. I feel that this is very disresctful to me, as a responsible adult,for some faceless team to close my account without any notice or explanation whatsoever. And to just do it out of the blue, that is treating me as though I am nothing, that is highly unprofessional of a so called respectable bettung company My advise avoid this site as you may be banned out of the blue.In response to bet Fred asking why. I can add nothing else I was playing I went off for a bit when I tried to get back on my account I couldnt. When I emailed customer services they said my account had been closed and they didn’t need to tell me why. That is exactly how it happened.

Betfred will close your account on a bad feedback I gave a bad feedback tried logging into my account and my account is closed. They try lie and say I spoke to a team to close it which is FALSE! Never spoke to anyone. They never emailed me either saying they are blocking my account 😂😂 absolute shambles of a company… avoid at all cost. EDIT REPLY; I have my screenshot message from a conversation with someone on live chat who was trying to tell me I spoke with safer team which is false because I didn’t I left a review and then couldn’t access my account

Supposedly one of the top three online bookmakers,that being the case,why won’t they lay a bet.SP or show price they constantly cut down,or reject bets completely.Im not talking large stakes but something that takes out £1-200 pounds,hardly a big bet.Sad to say this is the state of bookmaking today.I could name at least three bookmakers who leave Betfred standing,the best being Bet365.

Like almost all gambling sites, I seem to lose much more than I win. The block of games in Betfred is very impressive but I cannot afford to try all of them. I love to play the Goonies slot but getting on the features seems to depend on what time of day you play which varies quite a bit,

Terrible service from a man named martin, at newtown betfred asked for a lucky dip, he tutted and rolled his eyes at me, then I overheard him say under his breath that theres too much scum that comes in here. The withdrawal is not an easy process, my account was verified upon opening and my bank supports faster payments.However I’m still waiting for my withdrawal! Reading other reviews I think it’s going to be a lengthy wait with all sorts of obstacles thrown in. While I welcome recent changes in laws and think they were along time coming the Gambling Commission also need to recognise the abuse when it comes to withdrawing. There’s only ever an issue when you have a win. It’s a shame because as a site I would say it’s got a lot to offer, well known games and plenty of them. But for the afore mentioned reason with withdrawals I wouldn’t recommend this site unless you enjoy throwing money at it with no return.

Warning! Total thievery… When you go to cash out prior to a game-ending,they always give you less than what the cash out amount was. When you deposit they take it instantly when you cash out it takes days. Also be aware that when you get bonuses, they hide them, so they can expire more easily

Signed up recently with Promo code and never got my bonus. In my opinion, rules of what you have to spend your first deposit money on to get the promo funds are very strict and not very clear for someone like me who is new to gambling sites and doesn’t now all the jargon. Will never be using this site again. There are much better gambling sites out there with rules being more clear to the new players.

The games are fixed you can tell they are very jittery? The online site is very slow and isn’t easy to get around. Am advising potential customers of betfred to be careful. They will allow you to deposit any amount of money with no questions asked. No customer care or service whatsoever. Vulnerable customers who may not be able to afford such losses again no questions asked. No ID checks until you have lost and lost and lost. Then they say after 4 months closure of your account. Asking for ID verification. What a joke. I believe this company is unethical on so many levels people beware.

I get scatters sometimes £4 a scatter no fisherman wat so ever. I wasted £500 pound on big baz 1 a spin not once did a scatter come in on 500 spins. They hold my money of £1833 and they don’t want to give me my money back because I used my brother card. This is my third review . They don’t reply to emails but when I write a review on here there reply to my emails .My account was closed down they wanted documentation so I sent documentation passport birth certificate bank details proof of address more than enough two weeks ago . They have blocked my account to which there was 550 pounds in their pending withdrawal and have told me I won’t be getting it until they receive this . I sent this over two weeks ago first time and several times since . Now I have been told that this isn’t good enough and they want a selfie of me holding my passport . Avoid this company unless you want to be able to spend whatever you want. They ask for details of earnings, but not outgoings unlike every other betting site. They saw I had a lump sum of money which I mentioned was due to a house sale so they allowed me to spend any amount with no spending cap. They say that it was my responsibility to put a cap on what I could spend? would you trust a someone who was addicted to drugs or alcohol to be in charge of how much they should take each day? No! Every other betting firm I had used (7 in total) all saw my my pay slips and bank balance, and ALL put what they thought was a cap which I was not allowed to go over. I had a call from the so called “safer gambling team” who asked if i was comfortable with the £1200 a month limit? What was this all about when I lost way over and could spend whatever I liked! No other betting company allowed me to do what Betfred did and it was morally wrong and they know it. This is being investigated and pending the outcome i will most definitely be taking them to court, just like a Mr Green did in 2021 and won the case. He was awarded £1.7 million, after they refused to pay him out what he had won. Please use any other betting company they do not care about punters at all.

Wimbledon made me place a bet for fun on who would lift the trophy 🏆. Horrendous experience not fun. I sent driving licence Bank statements and Bills they refused everything. Making different excuses every time on different documents. Now they state my bank statement was folded even though it showed my name and address. I folded it for privacy as it had all my transactions and balance.I asked to close my account and they said they cannot untill I complete verification!Please do not use this company. Set up account few weeks back with £40 free bets and £10 casino. Having played through the qualifying bets I never noticed the free bets etc. When I received email regarding sending ID and proof of address, I’ve tried 3 times to sort it out. First time I never sent enough so that’s on me. I’ve now sent all 3 needed and am told the proof of address is not 3 months, send something else. I’ve sent rates bill (equivalent of council tax in NI) which shows from April 23 but not good enough. I can’t do bank statements as all online, and all utility bills also online and can’t screenshot. Nobody has made any conditions when making deposits
