Would give them 0 stars if i could. Was registered with GamStop but ban removed several months ago. Created an ac with Betfred, message came up that my Gamstop was over but they suggested i set a deposit limit which i did. Played various games in casino and hit a decent feature, halfway through free spins it kicked me out of account. Couldn’t log back in. Called customers services and they said my ac was blocked by them as they do not allow accounts for people who have previously registered with Gamstop !!!! Yes don’t allow you if you win !!! i bet if id have lost my deposited money they would have let me carry on !!! and if they don’t allow this why send a message acknowledging they know i had a prev ban in place and to set deposit limits now ban was spent and no they didn’t pay me my winning from the feature. Avoid.

Turns out I was ineligible for the welcome free bets because someone had previously had an account at the same address. Of course they didn’t tell me this when I registered. Only when they had taken my money and accepted my bet. It’s a crappy rule because are they saying they only want one customer per address?It’s very poor business too because this customer will not be touching them with a barge pole. So won £11000 across a few games, withdrew £2000 then £9000. Since then I’ve been given nothing but the runaround and no winnings, requested for it to be escalated and a formal complaint but both denied in writing. Apparently a game check is taking this long which is ridiculous. I was then advised by a lovely phone rep to use IBAS. The whole thing should have been a fantastic experience winning that amount but alls I’ve had is frustration and not a lot else. Customer since 2012 but once this is sorted I will be closing my account. Only advice I’d give is avoid and don’t bother with the live help or email reps they border on rudeness and give a lot of misinformation. AVOID THEM

It is impossible to use Betfred on your mobile, 100% of the games that aren’t on today are impossible to find but you can find some on the website. The app is so painfully slow to load, they don’t have a search feature like UNIBET or BET365 where you can quickly search for the game you want. Everytime I use the All Sports part to locate a baseball games odds for tommorow it says sorry betting on the event is currently unavailable despite it being available on the website and if you can locate it there barely anything to bet on. 10/10/2023 Arizona Diamondbacks v LA Dodgers Bet365 have about 50 different variations of bets you can make Betfred have 11. I was unable to reset my password t access my account.Frustrated I decided to close my account withdraw my credit balance.My account was closed but will not reurn my money.The latest card I had on my account i defunct now but my bank account has not changed.T & C’s say if card no longer in use will do best to accept new card details to allow withdrawl.Betfred refused to so this.They will not explain what possible risk they see thay just repeat sme so called secutity message.I believe this is tantamount to theft of my money.Official complaint made been shockingly handled.Been cut off from live chat been rude to over phone.They have admmitted to justified errors within my complaint but still keep my money.I was also asked question about my intention to gamble ?! A very strong word but its true its a well known secret with Betfred. Several of their senior team have admitted their app is shoddy and unstable.Secondly they also dont like people who win regularly and like to ban them for no reason even if you have active bets on.I would stick to william hill.

Placed each way winning double at Longchamps today at Cotteridge betting shop, Birmingham. Staff member queried betting slip was incorrectly written? Slip had two winning selections clearly each way but did not indicate ‘double’ on slip. She was adamant slip was single bet? Attitude stank and was obnoxious rude and arrogant. For no other reason than my own stupidity, I have managed to lose nearly £10k to these greedy, ruthless crooks without any comeback. Until Friday night, when I lost nearly my whole £2k wages, when I got lucky with one game and decided to cut my loses and I’d had enough of them and withdrew £1000.I got £491 paid into my account, my husband got £350 paid to him and the remaining £149 was put back into my gambling account. Contacted customer services again… an hour later was told that i had to deposit a minimum of £5 to “Clear” the system and I would be able to withdraw then… so I tried to deposit and AMAZINGLY for the first time ever… Betfred were unable to take my money because of “technical issues” I lost patience and played on like the idiot I am and lost the lot very quickly after!!They are vermin off the bottom wrung, without morals, scruples or souls. After many years playing different platforms I have noticed the Return to Player percentage (payouts) drop.
