It's 1 star as I can't give any less!!!! They are a diabolical company, clicked cash out on my bet and never got my winnings, went on live chat to be told I have to wait for a e-mail, got the e-mail 4 days later to be told I never clicked cash out, I know I did click it, they just try their best to stiff people out of their money! This is not the first time I've had dealings and been ripped off William Hill!!!

They were always one of my main bookmakers along with Paddy Power and Betfred, but now they have changed their Guaranteed Odds Policy, Its time to stick with Paddy Power. Guaranteed Odds only apply to bets placed the same day after 10am.

I will use Paddy Power as my main bookmaker now.

Just had my account closed to sports bets after placing 4 bets in 2 days all at 25p each way with an overall loss of 75p. Account closed by the sports trading dept apparently who will not elaborate as to why. I have now withdrawn the remainder of my money. I recommend anyone not to bother with them as there are plenty of other bookies out there willing have your business. Looks like they made a large loss to 1 Jan 19 – 716M on a t/O of 1621M, looks terminal especially if you don't want new customers.

i have had an online account for years today i placed a bet William hill excepted the bet the bet came in i watched the race 20mins later they returned my stake and said the bet was late ,that was rubbish ,they had the cheek to offer me a £50.00 free bet as a good will gesture i cancelled the account felt i was mugged never go back to them if they are short of a few bob they should say i would have lent them the money feel better i have cancelled my account with them better treated at paddy power

Well I'm not impressed. I placed 4 bets of 25p each way from opening the account (£2.00 in total) – BANNED! So I never actually won anything and made four losses and I've been banned. I did use an automated betting system with access to my account, however whey they would ban a bettor who's just given them £2 is beyond me. Not close the account but withdrew my remaining £18.

Do not go with William Hill. If you start winning they will restrict your account and make it virtually impossible to open it up with a ridiculous verification system. I've submitted my documents 4 times on chat and the security team NEVER emailed me back to inform me of failure. So I would have to go back on chat to ask why I wasn't reverified. Then they say they won't accept my Monzo bank account statement and that I need to provide a bank statement from another bank with deposits from William Hill in the last 3 months. Which is IMPOSSIBLE. William Hill make me want to kill myself. I still have a ton of money on the account.

I opened an account this evening and they were happy to accept my deposit but then locked me out until I verified my identity, but the website wouldn’t allow me to verify and despite being told I would be on live chat within 28 seconds I am still waiting 3 hours later !! Goodbye deposit! Do not trust this site !

Honestly the worst betting shop ever! Please take my advice and don’t do them ‘question’ football betting slips in store.. picked 1 up yesterday, over 1 goal, 1 card & 5 corners in all Saturday’s 3pm EPL games.. all 3pm games have over 1 goal, 1 card and 5 corners but William Hill said it was a losing bet even though after checking stats from each game it’s correct. William Hill staff in store didn’t give a toss and just said make a complaint online even though it’s an in store slip not online lol. Honestly I’ve never known a better shop so bad to not pay out on their football slips!

First of all this company is the worst company I’ve used in my life and when you lose a bet they take your money instantly then when you win sometimes you wait days to get the money on your account and by that time you miss all your bets that’s ridiculous so do not trust this company

Logged into account after two years. Statement showed a total £87.04 of inactivity charges. Customer services, spoke to Gvidotos who calculated all the charges taken for inactivity and refunded them instantly into my account. I would like to thank personally William Hill and especially Gvidotos for their gesture of good will. With Christmas around the corner this will definitely help. Thank you so much for the refund very much appreciated.

Forced into giving this mob one star. My gripe is with customer services. They have not got a clue what they are talking about. I tell them how their rules work. I told their lady im taping my call for my protection purpose and small claims court action and she says do what i want 😁😁😁, filed claim today for 2800 pounds, thanks lady.
They havent got a clue what they are doing, legal papers on the way .

I'm a net loser on this site. This will be important later on.

I only bet on sports, never on casinos. I've been restricted since day one. No bonuses, no freebies, nothing, ever. My bet size was also limited, even £5 was too much on some markets. I was never given any reason why. When I asked them on chat, I was simply told something along the lines of "We make sure the level of restriction is always being monitored and reassessed." It's also worth pointing out that this is the ONLY bookmarker that has ever done anything like this to me. I have NEVER been restricted anywhere else. Even the worst experiences I've had elsewhere are like happy fairy tales compared to how William Hill has treated me. Oh, but it doesn't stop here. Oh no. Fast forward month or so and now my limit is £0.00, I'm effectively banned. I sent them an email asking, what's up, but they have not replied. It's been a week or so, so either I'm being ignored, or their response times are pathetic. Either way, it's unforgivable for any company that supposedly prides themselves in the quality of their service. They did settle my open bets, payout my winnings and let me withdraw my funds quickly without problems, but that's the absolute minimum standard for any betting bookmarker, and they're not getting any sympathy stars for that.

Now, if this is how they treat losers, imagine how they treat winners. Like, just imagine if a company of any other nature served their customers like this. Would you go to a restaurant that treated you like crap? How about a super market? Don't think anyone would.

William Hill operates a casino with scratch cards and slot machines designed to take as much money away from gamblers as possible yet the moment someone looks like he just might take few hundred pounds away from them they kick them to curb because "ThEy NeEd To MaKe PrOfIt". I guess that what they mean by "When the fun stops, stop." They want to stop serving you the moment it's not fun for them anymore. They truly are scoundrels of highest order. If greed was a crime these people would be serving a life sentence behind bars.

They have bery little on offer for there loyal customers regarless of how much you deposit and play. As for withdrawals. It takes ages for yout winnings to go into the bank

Got to be the worst site I have ever played on.
£10 on penny bingo constantly 1tg every game and same name winners constantly.
£15 on 20p spins gone in seconds the amount of dead spins are redicoulous.
No sign of a bonus and a total return of £3.20.
I dont mind losing but I do like a bit of gameplay for my money.

I had £100 in account and £900 pending withdrawal to my bank, it was my 5 year old sons birthday. They told me on live chat that I could withdraw the £100 in a William hill shop if I took ID and got a williamhill card with the shops help. I drove to shop, my wife and kids were waiting in the car. The nice lady in the shop opened my card, I went to withdraw and error came up on screen! whilst in the shop I contacted live chat who told me I needed to remove my current payment method, I asked them to do so on live chat and they told me they had. I went back to the counter and tried again. Error came up again. I contacted live chat again who told me that because I had a pending withdrawal I could not withdraw in the shop! They told me I must reverse the withdrawal but could then take it out in the shop. I followed the advice and went back to the counter. Error came up again, I was absolutely perplexed at what was happening and contacted live chat again. All this whilst my family were waiting in the car as it should have took 5 minutes. Live chat informed me that I must now make a deposit with my new card and could only withdraw back a percentage after I sent ID via email and could take 3 working days to verify. This is to my already fully verified online account.I was so angry at losing around an hour of my time, the lady in the shop actually couldn’t apologise enough and explained that the online agents are actually nothing to do with William hill and work for multiple companies at a time. She said the online William hill are a disgrace. So in essence they made me reverse my withdrawal by lying to me 3 times and then I could not re withdraw it as red flags had popped up on my account. This was because I tried to withdraw £900!!!. I was so peed off and read some terrible review online that I played the £1000 with ridiculous stakes like £50 a spin and it was gone in 20 mins. In my head I wasn’t getting the money anyway. I complained about the whole thing and they suspended my account pending investigation. I waited weeks in between replies. I had mentioned to them in a comment that I had served in the Royal Navy and was treated for PTSD for a bit and it wasn’t as bad as the way they were making me feel. They then sent me the same questionnaire on 3 occasions asking about my mental stability etc. My reply each time being; I’m fine, I run a successful small family business with my wife and gamble only small amounts for fun when I can spare it. My children are good achievers at school and I live a respectable existence. I received CBT therapy for a few years the last session being over 18 years ago and have had no relapse since. My comment was designed to let you know how irrelevant you were making me feel. I was then told after a month of suspension that they made a business decision to close my account for life and did not have to give me a reason! I contested this and was told they believe I am at risk of suicide because of my PTSD and they were being responsible. I was absolutely flabbergasted. What they done is closed my account and made assumptions and disgraceful remarks about mental health without any investigation or medical evidence, they discriminated against disability on a disgusting level. Doing this made it easier to fib me off and not deal with the complaint. The complaint was not about losing the money, it was in regard to the weasel devious lies they told to make me reverse my withdrawal. I’ve reported them to gambling commissions and disability uk and I am taking legal action against them in coming weeks. This company treat customers like dirt on the bottom of there shoe and care not one bit about your wellbeing or the way they treat you. Avoid these heartless pigs like the plague

I’ve been playing William Hill for a while, you can literally spend 100s and walk away without seeing a bonus feature or any sort of win above £2/3s. Now there is the odd time you get lucky and I really mean odd time. I’m not new to online slots and this is by far the worst slot site I’ve played in terms of winning. You definitely don’t get the returns they say you do. I don’t mind losing the money I play but I definitely do mind not seeing features or wins in the games when I am £200 in, it’s ridiculous. They dont like you to win i had a withdraw and blocked my account sent ID no replys back account still blocked they never replys to any complaints and reviews i being gambling for over 10 years never had and trouble with my ID deposit is ok withdraw is a big no for william hill as you can see in the past reviews had a friend that played on william hill there account was blocked to with a withdraw just stay away full stop there UKGC LICENCE needs to be removed
