The worst customer experience I have ever had. These people need considerable training on how to answer to customers, and how to reply to GDPR questions. I have spent a long time trying to get information out on how my details are secured once I close my account. IT IS MY RIGHT TO KNOW HOW MY DETAILS ARE SECURED!

I will first write that gaslighting was recognised as ILLEGAL and ABUSIVE in a UK court in 2022. William Hill GASLIGHT their customers and are therefore committing a crime.I have asked for an email or a postal address to report this, but William Hill staff are so rude and cut me off, preventing me going through their internal processes.I opened an account with William Hill during the last international break whilst I was in a bar and unable to get to my local shop.On signing up, I was suspended until I provided an all host of documentation proving who I was. I found this off, as I am clearly on the electoral role. I would not usually mind, but the list of things for me to provide was a bit bonkers. They wanted my ID, proof of address, but also a selfie of me holding a bank statement, me holding a letter, at the same time as me holding my William Hill ID.I got my partner to do this for me whilst in the pub, hoping I could get a bet on Grealish to score before the game kicked off. This was not possible, as they weren’t happy with my MANY attempts to take photos. Things like ‘You are too far away, come closer’. ‘Now you are too close, go further away’ ‘Now we cannot see your arm’.In the end I went to the Paddy Power shop and put my bet on there. The next day I repeated all this ID thing, and eventually, after 10-12 photos, I was accepted. And could log in.However, after logging in I could not bet. They only allowed me to bet £1 and this is where the gaslighting started.On being very confused about the matter, I contacted them on live chat. I was told that the reason I could not bet was ‘due to my patterns of betting’ and that the trading team had ‘studied my account and decided I had done something bad’I told the person this could not possibly be true. I have never once made a bet with William Hill. And I had been prevented from betting since the minute I opened my account.I explained that I had spent hours opening this account, with all these photos, and that I had done nothing wrong.BUT THEY CONTINUED TO LIE AND GASLIGHT ME. This is mental abuse, as per the law.Three different people told me I had been stopped from betting due to MY behaviour and my previous bets.I had never done a single bet!I want a contact number where I can put in an official complaint, and further to this, a contact number for a regulatory body where I can launch an official complaint against this company.

Pay to play site. The casino part is very bad I’ve never seen anything like it from a bookies in my life. The sports part of their site is dreadful too most of the time offering lower odds than most leading bookmakers yet claiming they offer the best odds anywhere haha. The only good thing on this site is the impact sub on bet builders and even that’s hit and miss at times. Anyway there’s no point reading my review just look at their 1.4 rating on here before you decide wether you want to join or not. They also discriminate against disabilities which they have done to me in the past. I made a complaint and was told the agent would be dealt with In the correct way but I wouldn’t know the outcome of that discipline. Clearly he was just told to tone it down a bit and get on with his job. Wish I’d have taken it further at the time but even those dealing with you try and brush it off. Terrible terrible site.

Just a joke how bad the slots are. Been with this company for years. Over the last few years ive noticed that on certain nights the slots are relatively ok, but on other nights the slots are completely dead. Like you could play every single slot and nothing. Ive just spent 2 hours trying all different games and literally nothing. Its happening too often with this pattern . Million percent its rigged. The nights i have won ( but never crazy figures like some sites) all the games seem to be up for a bonus etc. Its like they have switch for certain times when they are ok and then just complete zero. Got 7 bonuses tonight in 2 hours and not 1 of them was over £10. Just self excluded from this site. Will never bet on their slots ever again .

Worst company to play online !!! Stay away from scammers. I lost 6k in 1 month . Total lost 22k . When I win bonus games , it is not pay out even 1 % amount you putting slot machine . Just placed bet on app. Displayed odds were 4.5 but app changed odds to 4.33 with no warning of odds change. After placing bet displayed odds still showed 4.5. Be warned. Absolute cowboys.

Absolutely joke of a company. Was given a free bet that I had to use the next day. Went to the shop on a Sunday and it was closed! Went again in the afternoon and it was still closed! Contacted customer service and was emailing with the retail contact officer, Cheenezz. Absolutely clueless! Didn’t want to answer my questions. Didn’t want to honour the free bet. Shame on you William Hill. I will now go elsewhere in future.

I recieved a email off william hill 1/11/24 saying ive had £5 cash dropped into my acc, upon looking there was no £5 so i emailed them an they replied saying it was an error on their behalf and i would not recieve it!! For a company the size and stature of william hill to make such a mistake is hard to comprehend, i for one will not be using william hill again.

I’ve just spent 50 minutes online (because they withdrew the facility to actually speak to somebody sometime ago) after the usual farce of speaking to Will the robot, I was eventually transferred to a human (Jonalyn) told to wait, which I did, only to find the query go back to the robot who closed the case. I went back on and went through the whole procedure and was eventually transferred to Rod, same outcome, reverted to robot who closed the case. I tried a 3rd time and was again transferred to a human, only for the case to be automatically closed once again by the robot. This is NOT a customer service any longer, they simply do not care and you can not resolve any issues. After several decades of being a customer of theirs, I will no longer use this company. Do not use William Hill.

Oh dear me.Im posting the same issue as many others. DO YOUU SEE A THEME W HILL. What a corrupt company William Hill is. So many easy ways to deposit and spend spend spend…but try and withdraw…oh no…its a minefield.I currently cant get my money off them because they insist on paying back onto a card i no longer have (in the modern world cards are only valid for a short time, or they get lost or broken or stolen etc).2 hours on the phone with them, 1 hour with my bank…still not resolved. had to give passport copy and all sort of stuff…but nothing. Only if you don’t want your money, you will play at this site. I won one week ago 1800 euro and i withdraw without problems. I did my verification with my payslip and ID and bank statement. After a week I won 12.500 euros. Now it’s been a week since they refused to pay the withdrawal. I provided them with all the documents required again, ID,bank statement, selfie with me holding the documents ID, username, and bank statement and every time, the answer was the same: we need the following documents…. Also, if you ask for a reference number for your case to complain to the authorities, they will not give it. The only option was to contact gamblecomission, and I am waiting for an update from them. After winning last night on a football bet I have tried to withdraw my winnings. Only to be sent a mesage about the card I am using. The william hill system wants to use a card which I lost months ago and not the current card I have used to deposit money with. The person on the contact desk is a disgrcae and has been laughing at my situation when I have tried to fix this. I have used william hill for years and I will never use them again following this as mat present they are keeping my money due to a failure in there system to update my cards correctly. Cey is unhelpful and just seems to think it is funny I cannot get at my funds or remove my cards. I have then been passed to Dane a supervisor who was of no help at all and actually cut my chat off and left a message about sending me an email. The App is terrible! really slow to load, keeps saying I’m offline when I’m not. By the time it loads, flipping race is over. Also you can’t watch the race half the time because it keeps freezing. Can’t someone sort this? It ruins enjoyment, and I’ve picked winners but couldn’t get the bet on because app too slow. Not happy with this.

When I joined I played my favourite games and won regular after letting me win for few wks they changed the same games I play to no wins. I’ve lost hundreds of pounds playing my favourite games. Abd anything over a 20p spin takes all your money and more. £1 spins 40p spins 50p spins all set, don’t play on this site it’s not fair. Reading everyone else’s experiences it appears I’m not the only person who has had a poor and fraudulent experience. Tried logging into my account which I last used a few month ago, unable to log in, this message came up on my account: “Sorry there is a problem with your account”Spoke with the virtual helpline and was informed that my account had been permanently closed after careful review of my activities and transactions. Yet I have never had any communication or emails from William Hill informing me of this, also my where are the funds I had left in my account? Asked to speak to the complaints department and all I had was a virtual supervisor who refused to go into detail as to why my account had been closed and why they had kept my money. And then they closed the chat!

Deposited 3 times £50 in total,lost that so the deposited another £20. This £20 was showing in my account but the website wouldn’t let me play. I was then informed I was self excluded. I waited for my £20 to be refunded as is the rules but no nothing. In hindsight all the £70 should be refunded as the gaming system should have picked up on the exclusion on the first deposit. Fuming and disappointed.

If I could put no stars I would, my account was compromised, William Hill blocked my account, this was proactive of them and a positive move but this is where proactive finishes!!!!Rather than inform me of this they let me find out the next time I tried to log on to my account!! I obviously couldn’t log on and therefore had to contact there near useless online chat process, there is no other method of communication. After seven days and hours and hours of trying to resolve my account is still blocked and MY money that is held in there is still inaccessible. I then get told I didn’t meet the requirements for the promotion even though I opted in, deposited and spent the right amount on the game. Live chat is horrendous,you get a bot who ends the conversation without helping,I had to type a load of nonsense before the bot passed me on to an agent named ruby,she told me she was passing me on to a another agent who would help and promptly passed me right back to the bot who Inevitably ended the conversation. Tried to get help on Twitter they gave me a link that took me to the bot who ended the conversation.
