This is actually the worst experience I have ever had with a company. William hill had an error with there deposits and there system actually deposited £40 instead of £10 that I had set out to for Cheltenham racing. Not only could I not enjoy the racing by dabbling on the horse racing with my £10 they still hold my money 4 days later. Their contacting system is terrible. Live chat only for online accounts. The first person you get transferred to can’t actually authorise anything so you get transferred to a ‘supervisor’ which they don’t come through to the live chat. I just want my money back and I will never use William Hill again.

William hill is trying to scam me.. They are saying my account is under review and the security team is doing checks immediately and they will contact me once done.. It's already one week and when I contact their livechat, everytime i'm being told to wait for their email once checks are completed... One week has gone by and they are still kicking me like a ball saying to wait for the concerned team.. I have read their reviews on trustpilot and I can see many people are having these same issues.. They are trying to scam people.. I have money with them and they are refusing to pay saying that no transaction can be done on my account when it's on review.. I have been a custome for over 8 years.. I do not recommend anyone to open an account with them as they will scam you at certain point during your business with them.. I will go to the ombudsman and will file a case in court if need to.. Beware guys..

Been a William hill customer many year always been good for prices and occasional bonuses but today they removed all my bonus off me and put a restriction on my account not to stop me from betting but to stop me from taking part in any promotions I bet responsible and don’t wager as much as I use to so they have decided because I’m not wagering as much they have restricted me from any promotions which I was taking part in because there not making enough money out me so I believe William hill are not bothered about responsible gaming like I do they want individuals to be addicted and waste all there money on betting SHAME ON YOU WILLIAM HILL

I'm at a loss as to how many people have had a bad experience with william Hill. I'm not disputing anyones account as what most have experienced on WH I've experienced elsewhere! As far as WH goes for me personally ive been with them 5yrs + , I deposit every other week and only play 10p/20p spins maybe 40p if I'm feeling flush lol. I've had some great returns having withdrew £160 last week and only deposited a tenner , although over the years I've withdrew a lotttttt more! I just hope I don't eat my words after writing this review tho lol. But I genuinely have only ever had a positive experience on this site so far.

I joined William hill on the 07/03/2023 deposited £170 no documents needed to join played on into the night up my bet to £5 a spin won £6550 on bonus game (big bass splash) withdraw my winnings to wake up the next morning asking for id and that my withdrawal as been put on hold all id sent and accepted withdrawal still on hold to this day just keep saying my account is under review states on there web page account verification upto 24hrs absolutely ridiculous I will never deposit with them again and I will get my money owed even if I have to take it to court what a joke of a company I understand they have to do checks but this is outrageous!!

I won £85 on 1st March, I withdrew this on the same day. I am still waiting to receive this. I can no longer scroll back in My Transactions on William Hill to the date I won this.I did take photos of both my winnings and the transaction on William hill and am escalating this to the ombudsman as William Hill state I won £70 on 3rd March and withdrew this on 3rd March - clearly wrong as I my evidence.I only keep a float of £20 in William hill per month just as a bit of mindfulness - as a nurse you need to find something to de-stress, and, as a nurse I can’t afford not to have the money I won from William Hill. I will never use them again.

Decided to withdraw some of the money ( not a vast amount , under £100) which I thought I'd done but nothing in my bank account so contacted William hill to be told oh its on hold for security reasons. You need to provide proof of identity which I did not good enough ended up sending the same docs 3 times & spent considerable time on the online chat as " we don't have a customer service telephone number " which speaks volumes here. I verified my account when I opened it & have the email reply as proof. As others have said its nice & easy to add funds but extremely difficult if you want to withdraw YOUR money, this experience has put me off William Hill so I'll be checking reviews for the other online bookies before moving .

Staying at Village Hotel Swindon tonight and disgusted listening to loud mouthed staff of William Hill staying here while they drink and smoke outside hotel on how they swindled and short changed people at Cheltenham today. How disgraceful. They laugh and joke about this So dis-respect-full to the people using their Service at Cheltenham and makes you wonder what happens in their betting shops?

For a young woman to tell me " go suck your mom" and "I will call my "nigg*s" for you".This goes beyond the parameters of your job, you're now threatening my life! I work 6 nights a week and I can admit that gambling is not the best way to move forward with my life, but for the shop attendant to call me a"bum" and threatened my life is fully and totally unacceptable. She called the police, refused to pay out and was down right DISRESPECTFUL!I'm a gambler that's a choice I made but I dont need the staff of the establishment I'm punting into to call me a bum.

I opened an account with them won £50 and it only then that they wanted a copy of my bank card, BOTH sides with my security number on it, my passport, and proof of my address before they would pay out my winnings. Went onto there chat service over something so small originally and was argued the toss with by Jolina for 20minutes straight before she refused to transfer me to a supervisor/manager once I was transferred it seems as though the supervisor just copy and pasted information to me about how unhappy William hill is when people have to complain and how they want you to have the best experience possible !! No reason just - sorry you cant login. No verification, nothing.I asked on live chat what's going on and there response is - sorry I cant provide any more information. so am i just supposed to lose my money and let you have it? I've been with William Hill since day 1. But since they were bought over everything has gone down hill. You use to get great rewards for loyalty. Now you get nothing but 5 free 10p spins on slots you never win 1p on. You have to place £10 bets on random stuff to get a £5 free bet back. Paddy Power rewards are much better. Up to £10 free bets for spending per week. And they've given all members 3 £5 free bets for Cheltenham.

I won a two tournaments today. On both occasions they did not pay out. They did refund the first time.But refused the second time.Will contact ofcom tomorrow.I tried to contact customer services - showed screen grabs of the win - as proof and still would not pay out. I had clear evidence - yet - totally disregarded.It is outrageous - if your reading this WH please feel free to contact me - i have the screen grabs.Terrrible

They are blocking IP addresses associated to VPNs meaning they want you to be tracked by them, analytics companies, your ISP, and the goverment.For this, they cannot be trusted. Use a VPN friendly Sport Betting site such as SkyBet, BetFair, PaddyPower, Coral, Ladbrokes, etc...

I've nothing of any good reviews when all I end up with is empty pockets and nothing of any winnings on slots .Yesterday at this Branch Tollcross and today at this William Hill Westmuir Street Parkhead. I lost 200 pounds yesterday at Tollcross and 80 pounds today at Westmuir Street Parkhead .Between yesterday and today apart from 20 pounds almost 300 out of my Benefits.Today I thought my luck was about to change be in when I got an extra 27 free shots . Those 27 free shots and the 80 pounds I played only to end up with the same as yesterday empty pockets and no money no messages. That was me playing at Tollcross and Parkhead. When I'm playing the one or two pounds stake . Those slots aren't even worth losing it all and everything to only bring your heart,spirit,soul right on down and break you very badly. They do without any fail change your life and into feeling right down depressed and gutted. I've had in the past some jackpot wins but not as much as I've played and put in lost . I put myself into this and me only me can get myself out of it without any pressure from others. That only makes it worse.

placed a bet on a horse called lets be honest last night in the 7:55 at Tampa bay and i took the sp price. it won at an sp of 5/2 but William hills say it was 9/4 and have paid me £11.25 les than i should have got. I have checked this on sporting life results, sky results and called in betfred and asked them. how can william hills have a different sp to the rest of the fixed odds betting market also 6 weeks ago i saw them refuse to take a £20 bet on a dog at 9/2 the excuse given was because the traders couldn't lay it off I'm assuming that's what they have done to me. yet another reason not to go in William hills on Maltby high street

This review is about the WH Betting TV service, which is chaotic for any user! The greyhound service has to compete with normal horseracing and their virtual races, with often no opportunity to see the greyhounds parade before entering the boxes. That leaves those of us who prefer to see the animal we are supporting.It would surely make a lot more sense if WH had a dedicated greyhound channel TV where there is an adequate parade of greyhounds as is the requirement at the tracks, and WH would surely benefit from a greater volume of betting. I, myself, have missed countless betting opportunities through the amount of competition the greyhound service faces. The boast is by WH that every race is shown, but that is not true. Many suffer also from reduced coverage, or not being covered. I find this dismissive lack of concern by a bookmaker to be an astonishing lack of understanding. They are a good company up until they have decided you have won too much money. Then they lock your account 'due to multiple accounts' and make you jump through many hoops to try withdraw it.I have seen hundreds of other people be told the same excuse before their money is withheld. AVOID

So they keep pushing boosted odds, free bets, acca insurance etc etc However if you take advantage of these then they restrict your account.If you do not want to give customers offers then dont offer them in the first place. Advise to all users would be to close your account and move to another book makers.

Do not open an account William Hill. They let me open an account and pay money in and then I was not able to access it anymore as documents are missing which I have all provided. Since then I can not access my account anymore.

Yeh read the reviews first, £10 spins and you get about a tenner back! It’s definitely one of the worst sites for slots, bonuses are very rare and they pay absolutely nothing, the reason they arnt bothered about giving customers a good experience is coz they make more money robbing people than the fines they get from gambling comission, witch are a waste of space aswell lol

I joined the site via a Facebook promotion (£20 free play) and used that and played the free play fine. As soon as I put £30 of my own money into my account all of a sudden I've been locked out. Contacted customer service who said due to a security review they've closed my account and decision is final and that my £30 will not be refunded. So basically I got scammed out of my money for no reason and I can't do anything about it. Will be reporting to gambling commission for this foul play when I was literally a new customer and I can't do anything now to get my money back.
