I have never dealt with such a tinpot company. I’ve had several online chats with them recently and the service just gets worse, I’m beginning to wonder if they are using AI to answer queries. Today I wanted to know where they publish the draw results of the Irish lottery. They wanted to know the ins outs of a ducks R’s, how much was my bet , the bet reference (not relevant to my enquiry). The answer is they don’t, something that I shall bring to the attention of the Gaming Commission, as I believe that that should do. It took an hour and a half to reach this decision. I was referred more than once to a website that published lottery results but not for the tickets sold by Williamhill! For all I know I could be buying tickets for draws that don’t exist and just adding money to their bank account. I’m now taking my business elsewhere.

What a terrible company! Suspended my online account for no reason (I have about £5 in my account). They say they have sent you an email but I didn’t get one and I know somebody else in a similar position who didn’t. They then require a lot of documents to verify the account (which they have closed), including a bank statement and photo identification. Sent documents several times and they keep claiming they are not clear enough. It makes you suspicious as to why they want you to show so many of your personal details. They certainly can’t accuse me of irregular betting as I bet very small amounts and hardly win anything from them! I know one person who is not bothering retrieving their account and thereby the remaining money will go to William Hill. If this happens with a lot of people…

I placed a +2000 soccer bet on score/corners/cards which I won. I looked at the app and it was graded a loss. I called took it to the traders. I was told that my bet won and that I should be getting my money shortly. I was never credited the $$ and every-time I called they said “yes you won and we will be regrading your wager” I’m writing this review after three calls (I’m still on hold) and I still don’t have the Money. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me with prop bets that I have to call and harass them until they fix bets that were graded wrong. People who don’t check their bets risk wrongfully losing money.

Only help option is live chat. You’ll battle the robot before being given to MJ. Hopefully you like short answers that don’t quiet sort you out. Because MJ will cut and paste then close the chat. Got an email from them today saying they are closing my account down. I’ve messaged them yes i was placed on self-exclusion voluntarily with gamstop for 5 years after I was assaulted having a brain haemorrhage. My brother registered me with my permission for self exclusion which ended on the 31st August 2023. It was confirmed by gamstop my exclusion period had ended. I went through half and hour conversation with William Hill safer gambling team they opened my account 48 hours later. Now just under 11 months later they are possibly going to close my account again. It’s now under review. To be honest with you my problem isn’t gambling I waste more money playing app games because I get competitive. With gambling I do not chase my losses. I am a very sensible better and I have won over £1000 in profit while playing roulette on other companies, when I tell you this company is a scam using rigged odds I mean it. They use algorithms to make you lose and I honestly mean this, even with the live casino don’t let it fool you, they are not real roulette tables, I have recently lost £100 on this and by the looks of other reviewers I’m not the only one. I have been a loyal customer with William Hills for thirty years. I enjoy betting on football and ALWAYS gamble responsibly. Last week I received an email advising that, as I had closed another account with William Hill or Mr Green due to being concerned about my gambling, that they had decided to close my account. I have since tried to explain that I have NEVER had another account with William Hill and I have never even heard of Mr Green. I have tried the live chat on three separate occasions to get this situation sorted but have been advised that “William Hill are doing this to protect me from irresponsible gambling”. I have requested details of the account I have closed (doesn’t exist as I have never had one) but they have refused. I have money in my account and decided to withdraw this and transfer my VERY RESPONSIBLE betting to another decent company but William Hill has decided that it won’t give me the money in the account. William Hills are an absolute disgrace and, when this gets sorted out, I will withdraw my money and never give them another penny of my hard earned cash. Been with a very long time. The site has gone down hill like all the rest. They need to start looking at the reviews and listen to their customers. Slots are rubbish like others have said. My deposit lasted 5 minutes again this morning…. 5 minutes!! and just like the other times no bonuses. A few years ago you could atleast have an hours play with the odd bonus building up….. Beware do not leave money in your account- they closed my account without telling me and there was £40 plus in the account which they did not refund, when I asked for complaints procedure and regulator details would not give them to me a supervisor called Brendan told me I could complain to him but needed to send copious amounts of I d to try and get my money back.I only found out my account was closed when I went on the app to place a bet. Very poor customer care and sharp practice, glad I hadn’t won a lot of money for them to steal back. Also odds don’t always pay as stated and when you complain you get nowhere so give up.

First experience gambling on an app, was told to load £10 and I get some free bets… then I was told the payment method I used was invalid .. so I had to load another £10. I won a nice amount (£100) and then suddenly my account was locked. They asked me to send a picture of my proof of address… I sent them my driving license with my address, a pic of me holding it and my passport… I even wrote my username on a piece of paper and held it up! Ludicrous! And then they returned to me and said I needed to provide proof of address??? I have no way of getting my money back… huge scam. Avoid this company as they make introductory offers but if you don’t lose your money, they will lock your account up to prevent you withdrawing any winnings. Total shambles.

Only pay if you earn little money.If you win something moderate, it will allege money laundering so that you play and lose. He will also retain the money and not pay you. He is in a tax haven and you cannot even file a complaint. IS A TOTAL SCAM BE CAREFUL even the roulette wheels are rigged..

I have had a william hill account for nearly 35 years. A year plus ago I could not access it online. was directed to their chat bot which kept resetting my password, still could not get in and gave up as we were just going around in circles. Tried phoning 0870 5181715, turned out to be an overseas help line and they are not authorized to help with this, he directed me back to the live chat function on their site. when I asked for another phone no he stated management had decided not to have phone numbers. Service is appalling, I just want my money back that I have in my account.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. They are truly a despicable company. They closed my account and gave no valid reason but I presume it is because I won £80 from free spins. Not just shut off the free spins but closed the account. Whilst the £80 was still in it. In order to get my money I have to email a photo of myself holding ID, with a bank statement, and a piece of paper with my username. I am at uni so bank statements go half way across the country and I HAVE to be holding it – when the government website themself will accept a photo of the electronic email. Then apparently my ID wasn’t clear enough. Then other issues and other issues, making it vertically impossible to get my money.

Seems like Williamhill are in a restricted frenzy of late. No longer allowed to claim any promotions or play bonus drop. How dare I win 5 free spins worth 10p. Or get a free bet. And to put the cherry on top, they set depoist limits. All under the guise of safer betting. They restrict accounts from promotions if your withdrawal to deposit ratio is in favour of you and not them. Tell me I can’t play the bonus drop and other promotions all in the name of safer gambling – Yet I can deposit as much as I’d like upto say £500. Which is ‘safer gambling’ ? It would appear that William Hill is not a trustworthy casino that honours its debts. They simply obstruct withdrawals when they lose under the pretence of account verification problems. It is somewhat sad that apparently they are happy to entice players with in-play bonuses, but then promptly refuse to pay them out if the player wins too many bonuses. Oh dear.. Once logged into my account, I was greeted with a promotion that stated that if I played through £50 stake, I would receive a 100 free spins. Guess what? This never materialised! I contacted ‘Luv’ via support, and she/he claimed that the bonus spins were credited, and it was case closed. Terrible! Deposited and played, won and requested a withdrawal of £250 over a week ago. Was contacted for docs which I sent but there was a problem I had moved since opening the account so address differed! I explained and sent extra docs, spoke to live chat to be told its been escalated!A week on still no winnings, put in a complaint!! To then be told by a supervisor that I had received a email which I hadn’t I asked what the email said and the email information wasn’t even for my account when I queried the details in the email and said think there’s been a data breach as this email isn’t anything to do with my online account it was talking about someone losing their bag so couldn’t supply docs!! Also said following your complaint on 19th May well I didn’t request My withdrawal till 30th May so obviously date difference so clearly no for me!! When I queried this I was cut off live chat!! Appalling and wish I had read these reviews before using them. I don’t gamble very often at all (maybe once every year) but got a spam email from them saying join up and get a free bet. THEY EMAILED ME. I signed up and got a free bet as promised so all good but it turns out they don’t like you actually using the thing. I’ve just tried to login to DEPOSIT some money to make a bet on the Euros and seems I’ve been blacklisted. Got on to support who tell me “I don’t meet their high standards”. I dont do many reviews but been playing for some years history will state only back to 2008 and its a deffo different from the rest!! But it is literally the blinking worst ive ever played tbh, spins are stupendously low, you will get maybe 3% return of what you put on months later if anything!!!, ive Never Won A Full House or second line on the bingo and its been that long im pretty sure i only won 3 times since 2008 one of them was a one line the rest the silliest small extended wins they do and this is the only site this has happened on. I signed up with WH a while ago, I deposited and played a few games of bingo then logged off. Next day I went to log on and was asked to provide ID, I did all they asked but got denied as one corner of the letter wasn’t visible and the driving licence was out of date, but I no longer drive.So tried again with more documents and still it wasn’t enough, I asked for my money back and they said log on to withdraw but how could I if I am denied?In the end I contacted Gambling commission and the guy there was on WH side I think he worked for them as well, he just said take it up with them not us.They still have my money which I’ve written it off as a loss now but avoid this company like the plague.Also it took my deposit and let me play without any ID when I first signed up, it was OK then but not when I logged on the second time.

Something has changed with the site. I deposit fiver every few weeks due to them changing my deposit limits to help with safer gambling lol. I put fiver on and won zero. I’m fed up of complaining about lack of wins the bingo I only enjoy for the chat but to be honest this site has really changed. I have to stake to get five free spins and usually are dead spins. I rarely win on bonus drop. I used to enjoy loosing but this is literally every deposit now and it’s laughable really.
