How easy to the eye is the Ladbrokes website?

A really nice interface. It looks a bit busy and confusing when you enter but just spending a couple of minutes will have you finding your desired market and event in no time. Entering the site you have a main menu at the top with all the Ladbrokes products and the site opens on the sportsbook. For Ladbrokes the main focus sports are football and horse racing. As soon as you reach the home page you will find this broken down into three sections. Live and In-play is on the left, then in the centre is horse racing and the right side is your bet slip and a promotions area. The Live In-play section is on a dark background with current scores and minutes shown in bright easy to read colours of gold and blue. You then have the prices and number of markets clearly shown as well, a really excellent front end live section. Clicking through to an individual event will open a stats section at the top with all markets below. Each market has its prices highlighted in white on a dark grey background. This is really easy to read. In the middle horse racing section you can click on a race and then it opens the whole racing section, this allows you to get to any horse race very quickly. All in all a truly top class layout with excellent page loading times. Instead of the "All Sports" menu being open, it is clearly visible in the main menu and opens on the left in one click only if needed. This leads to less distractions for the user.

Does Ladbrokes offer competitive odds or the best odds in a certain sport?

With Ladbrokes we see a cross sport margin of 4.9% which is not one of the best and they are pretty weak on football offering littel value at 6.1% which is high and not great value for the punter, the selection of markets may compensate for some punters and bettors. Tennis is another weak and non value market where margins are high 5.8%. The US sports are where you will find some value, particularly basketball at 4.2% and baseball at 4.4%

How good is the market coverage and selection of bets on Ladbrokes?

Market coverage is very solid on Ladbrokes with football, horse racing, greyhounds, tennis, cricket and golf betting being very popular. If we look at football then we can expect to see from 100 to more than 150 markets on a top European league game. When going to the football section on the Ladbrokes site you will see the markets broken down into smaller sections. These sections are Main markets, Goals, Goalscorers, Half, Scores, Team Goals and Other Markets. This makes it very easy to get to a market you wish to place your bet on in no more than 3 clicks which creates a superb user experience.

How good is In Play betting on Ladbrokes?

This is a very strong part of the Ladbrokes offer. Why is that? The In Play interface is the same as the main betting interface in that the colour scheme is the same. The Live In-play section is on a dark grey background with live in-play scores and minute countdown timer shown in bright easy to read colours of gold and blue. You then have the prices and number of markets. This allows you to open all markets easily. When you enter the In-play section you will see 2 tabs on the right side which are "All" and "Video" and by clicking on video you will be able to watch a selection of games fully live, you do not even have to place a bet. As long as you have a positive balance in your account or have placed a bet in the last 24 hours then you can watch a huge selection of events right from your PC or mobile device.
