Had the worst experience ever with these guys. Their page malfunctioned, and i cashed out my LOSING bet for 27p. whilst the match was in the final seconds. Total page glitch.

Anyway, i was supposed to get 30pounds worth of bets and 30 free spins, and they refuse to give me it.

I said come on guys, its my first day on the site. i was refreshing the page checkin my betslip and hit cashout by pure accident. there wasnt even a confirm action button.

WHY would i waste 10pounds to cash out 27p. if i could just wait 30seconds more and get 30dollars and 30 spins. it doesnt make sense.

tried to reason with the operator, he cut me off. terminated the conversation. i tried to get in touch again and they refuse to answer or anythjing.

MY very first day, my first time, my first bet…and my very last time.

I hope they choke on that 10pounds!

i have been playing on betfred for a long time now and i spend a lot of money and i have also had many wins i very rarely play on other sites and have always stuck with fred the customer services are top and the chat hosts are great as well even though i dont join in chat but since the promotion of win a car i have changed my mind a bit because it doesnt seem to be based on fairness it seems that the players who chat regular to the hosts are the ones winning the top prizes some have won 3 cars surely after one car you shouldnt be able to win another car how is that fair ? im not the only player who has said this i havent won one game on promotions yet the chat hosts favourites have won loads i feel cheated because i spend a lot of money on this site and im shocked that it is allowed it seems a bit of a farce

This is the worst betting firm out there, the website is awful, you have to wait a week to get paid and after less than two weeks my account has been closed without any reason being offered and they owe me over £500!
Strongly advise everyone to avoid this company or wait to be disappointed.

Just joined Betfred. Applied online for my winnings on 14th February. Today is 22nd February and still no money in my account. I applied for my winnings on Betfair at 9am this morning and by 9.45 it was in my own bank account. I will be avoiding this company forever.

Betfred say they are helping the customer by giving extra places on horse races but this comes at a cost to the punter by having his odds reduced from a quarter to a fifth of the odds. How does this work when the terms and conditions in every shop state a quarter of the odds in handicaps of 7 or less, 12 or more and 16 or more.

I am unfortunately a user of the shop in Cornmarket Oxford, owing to the fact that I want to collect in my home town where there is only a BF.
The shop is filthy, and the area behind the cashiers is at best a health hazard. The staff in there hold open conversations about most things and their language is poor at best. today at around 11.15 the member of staff with the bad cough must have said the 'c' word more times than I care to remember! Shop Cleanliness poor, staff not considering other around them.

Just a generally p***-off attitude from Betfred cashiers. They are s****ing themselves their shops will close, and don't want to take any risk at all which may lose them their jobs. Can't be arsed to keep the toilets clean either. It's a poor experience for racing and sports fans.

I've had accounts with loads of bookies
I'm quite a high stakes gambler on the horses and tend to punt between £200 to £5000 a race
These jokers are useless
I opened an account because I'd burst my max limits on my other accounts
Drinking beer and banging some low stakes bets… 3 races in you could bet horse a to win a chunk but not horse b….
I think they were laying a max of about £130 On a 15/8 shot but would lay the 2nd fav
Why advertise odds if you don't wanna lay them to a Muppet like me

Word of warning to anyone who uses Betfred.
I placed a £10 bet yesterday at the Merry Hill Branch. I asked for the price which i was told was 11/2 and the member of staff wrote this on the ticket.
This bet won, so today I went to claim my winnings. They went to give me £45 but I advised them £10 at 11/2 should return £65 to which they replied the price changed 10 mins before I put my bet on. I stated that the price was wrote on the slip by their staff upon placing the bet. I have been to 2 shops and called customer service and STILL they think they are right that I should be 20 quid out of pocket for THEIR staffs incompetancy.
Beggars belief that a company as big as betfred think that this is acceptable to treat customers like this. They clearly are crooks and I for 1 will never place another bet with a company so unproffessional. WHAT A TOTAL BETRAYAL OF TRUST!!! NO WONDER THERES NO POOR BOOKIES!!!

Simple they handicap each and every player based on how much they deposit the frequency of which they deposit if they are a winning player or losing player how much they win or lose how frequently they win or lose etc to put it in Lehman’s term if you are a good player your going to receive a mathematically impossible amount of bad beats to accommodate the bad players who receive a mathematically impossible amount of good beats to level the playing field thus keeping the majority (90%) of the customer base happy keeping them happy means they keep depositing which means the poker site drives more traffic and makes more rake. These poker sites don’t reward good players because they are the minority (10%) so when your sitting there as a good player wondering how you have lost your 24th flip on the bounce or you’ve just been runner runner’d or 3 outer’d for the 15th time in a day or rivered yet again just remember what I’ve said. Very short, I have always problems with lierally everything on their website starting from withdrawals and ends to promotions. Today I try explain just one of them, but it's show almost whole point. Everyone who have account knows what is Comp Points. Not only betfred use this one for extra loyalty bonus. Every user have 1 point for every 10£ or 100£ wagered and after You can change it for bonus cash 100 points = 1£ simple and easy. I understand why minimum points for exchange is 100, but why make this more complicated and more difficult for users? Betfred decide every single person who wanna change this points for bonus need to have 1000. Ridiculous. My problem is I wanna close every account I have on different websites and today I ask someone from chat in Bedfred if meybe they can help me with this because I did the same thing on Playtech software on different websites. I understand they have terms of everything etc… But seriously I don't understand why they doing everything just to complicate everything for us. If I dont wanna close this account I don't care, they always wins but Betfred call for theirself :"King of the bonuses" like I saw somewhere. But now I see this motto working just for them. Because even when is some promotion or bonus, they show on website but for me very chaotic and in day which user supposed use it. In my opinion they try to hide it. Won £340 out of terminal on slots , took the ticket to the counter to be told problem with the computer so can't pay me . Went back the following day to be told computer still down and can't pay – something tells me something is going on .
Why didn't they tell me to Not play them as the computer is down so if you win anything they cannot pay you ?

How many shop punters are aware of two sets of rules for the same bet on the daily favourite index.

The rules in the shop don't cover the eventuality of one or two void races at a meeting as what happened at Newcastle 10/1/2020, however the they have two sets of rules online.

One lot state that should no more than two races be voided then 10 points per race will be added to the cumulative total to the races run (the exact same wording as Wm Hills), however as advised by their customer services there are another set of rules online for retail is shop which differs.

How the hell can this be right !?

Don't trust these cowboys, placed a bet as a new customer and didn't receive my free bets. When I called I was told that apparently someone in my house used the address to open up an account 2 years ago and so the offer was not valid. As I have 4 children over 18 years still at home it could have been any of them. Just look at the other reviews on trust pilot, how is this company still in business.

P**s poor customer service and even worse people work in the offices. Had a run in 3 times with same store manager. Park road barnsley. Wouldnt pay me out cos id put bet on in another shop. Said money she had there was for her regulars and her shop customers. Im a regular in there myself. Tonight i got kicked out cos i had nerve to say something about her not opening the door to let me in. I was stood outside for 5 minutes trying to get in. She just ignored me. No wonder theres no customers in there with management like that. Ive rang up head office twice. Been told that it would be looked in to but nothings come of it. They just ignore you. I was playing online casino live roulette. I was covering 24 numbers and leaving the croupiers to find 12 numbers . That's me covering 70% and leaving the house to find 30% . 7 times out of 10 the croupiers found the 30% . This happened all day and all night . If I had to find 30% there's no way I could do that 7 times out of 10 but somehow the croupiers can easily do it .this site is rigged .do not play .

I signed up thinking that I would get £30 in free bets after putting £10 into my account. Little did I know that BetFred have designed the service so that this free bet takes a ludicrous amount of time to come into your account

That means that you end up spending money, putting more money in and soon enough discovering you are in a loop.

Luckily I had the foresight to remove the £10, surprise surprise BetFred take a ludicrous amount of time to return your money as well!

Gotta say. I agree totally with all the negative reviews. And also another thing some do is. Don't tell you your bet is late. It loses… You chuck it away. They pick up your losing slip once you leave the shop.. And cash it themselves.. Know of any disgruntled staff. I've a new venture for them. Add me on snapchat.. LMIESTER8. Pay is far better.
