went to cash my bet put on lucky 15 31 and 63 on my lucky 15 my horse was a none runner so put none runner favourite on in box with best odds. so i should of got 3xs the odd which it clearly states but the Manager of Bury St Heywood said i could only be paid for a single win so when i ask why i only got times 1 stake winner, i was told thats all i was allowed. so i phone customer services and they said that they couldnt understand why she had only paid 1times winner on the bet because i am entitled to 3 times the winner and told me to go into the shop and ask for a request for all my bets to be checked in the past, so did that. later on went back to the shop and asked the manager as she done it to which she replyed, we do not want your custom anymore your barred and she would only check the last week bets. so now i am sitting at home wondering what i have done wrong and is she a thief

DO NOT GO on slots during this Covid crisis. They're cashing in as much as they can due too street stores closing down. i did 800x spins on slots and got nothing. ended up throwing 500quid on roulette luckily got up too 2200 and withdrew. If any one is planning on going on the casino side of betfred.. dont go on slots. Either go on sports bets or go roulette/blackjack <— {still not recommended} but i luckily scooped a few quid and dashed from this site. Go on websites that don't have street chain stores. BE WARNED.

Quick to take your money, not so quick to pay out though. I've always got paid out eventually, other sites usually pay out within a couple of hours when using PayPal, not Betfred, they can take several days to pay up.

I recently signed up to Betfred using the promo code to get my free bet following the instructions, I didn't receive it straight away as they had to receive verification through my phone but the following day my account was credited with 40. I managed to build this up to 290 and withdrew, I was worried at first after all the bad reviews I read but after making the request on the Sunday the money was in my bank the following Friday. They are taking longer to process withdrawals than usual and are a nightmare to get through to but it seems as long as you follow the criteria etc you will be paid out.

My ex girlfriend is having lots of trouble getting paid out . Open a acc with betfred and had bets and had money returned to acc when withdrawals were made . But withdrew a winning large bet of over 2k last week from royal ascot . She went to check the nx day to see if it had been processed but was locked out of acc with no explanation. Tried send email after email with no reply . Of course you cant ring them as they phones are not manned . How the can take bets with no one to answer complaints is beyond belief . Eventually was asked to verify acc which was done 4 days ago . Now after 4 days they still have her £2500 and no response to her verification. Disgusting customer service

Paid my money for Irish lotto lucky dips for the next month. Tried to log in today, password reset, still can’t get into account. Can’t ring as phone lines not operating, so sat waiting to ‘chat’ online with them, to be told my account is closed.

Can’t get money back, can’t check to see if I will win over the next few weeks with it being lucky dip and no access to account, so no idea what numbers are.

Absolutely disgusting way to operate.
Apparently though I agreed to this on signing up for an account with them. Yeah course I did, I really agreed to place bets and for you to just run off with my cash whenever you see fit.

My wife wanted to bet at Ascot . Locked in with the kids i said open an account which she duly did . She put £50 in her account then the site froze. She could not get back into her account kept saying wrong password . She started again applied for a new password. No she is blocked. In the meantime her £50 comes out of her bank. She emails the company explaining whats happened. She gets a snotty email this morning saying her account is blocked and with the terms and conditions she agreed to when opening her account her account will not reopen and they will not get into any further discussions. I tried to answer that email and she has had her email blocked and so you cannot contact them. Surely this is fraud? . Can they keep her £50? You cannot phone the company and now she cannot access the online people to chat with as they have blocked her IP address

Betfred provide poor customer service online.

If you have problems with them, the procedure to follow is to put your complaint in writing – preferably email. Give them a fair amount of time to respond, say three days. If no reply, send another email – possibly give three days. If they do not respond or their response is unsatisfactory, contact the betting regulator, the Gambling Commission, via their website.

Was tempted to Register and try the Irish Lottery because of the £20 Free Bet and 5 free Scratchcards Offer. Once registered I placed the requisite £5 bet but did not see any free bet money in my account. Contacted Betfred via their chat line and after a 3 hour wait was told that I hadn’t entered the promotion code during registration so was not entitled to the free bets!
There was no prompt to enter this code during the registration process and I had gone to the registration process from a link which said ‘Claim this Offer’. What more did I need to do???
At the best it smacks of being very misleading, and at the worst a scam! Wish I’d read these Trustpilot reviews before getting involved with them. Will be withdrawing the money I have deposited with them and trying somewhere else.

I've done 15 deposits since I joined a month or so ago. I literally havnt managed to get any of the decent bonus features to land. Also it keeps shutting me out of game saying server internal error every few mins. It's very frustrating. I've tried to get them to close my account but there's noone on phone lines and the online chat has over 200 people queuing. I really wouldn't recommend. I also never ever received my joining bonus free spins.

i joined the betfred but i was unsure about the bonus and how to get it ? i tried contacting betfred but after sending a email and not getting a reply ? i decided to go ahead ? i wagered several bets £40 and still no sign of a bonus ? and realised i had to spend a £10 on one bet were i spent £8 bets equalling £40 ?this was the question was trying to get off betfred ? sent another email asking should i put a £10 single bet on would i still be able to get my bonus ? but i never got a reply a just went ahead and put a £10 single bet on and £40 bets ? and still no bonus ? this time the email put me in a queue 89 that took 2hrs to chat to someone . i was then told because my first bet was £8 i lost my bonus even though i spent £90 in 2 days and put £10 single on the second day with £40 of other bets ? i told the girl i did not want to carry on anymore if they were not willing to see i was a long term customer and it was a simple mistake but they were not prepared to see sense ? she said she took advice and i could not even apply for a new account and do it the correct way ? i asked her to close my account and send any credit in my account back to paypal she told me she had already closed the account and any money had been transfered to my paypal account ? she said it was better if she did it because it was quicker ? one thing did shock me was before getting any help i was asked my secret question d.o.b etc everything except my password that was the most information i have ever given just to ask a few questions ? i was glad i did close the account because i thought am i being scammed and its 2 days and still not been credited any money to my paypal account and im locked out of the account and the emails are not working again its about time some firms stopped blaming the virus ?

Refusing to respond to my numerous requests to close my account. I tried the live chat, always stuck at around the 90th person in the queue at ANY given time. I try to email them at support email address and the email gets bounced back. I left a message when live chat was available, guess what…3 DAYS later and no response. Do not ever use Betfred they are utterly useless. And support if you are ever reading your reviews, message me directly please and close my account finally. Thank you.

I’ve have had no problems with Betfred. I deposited £10, got my £30 of free bets (3x£10) and won a nice amount on the first. Withdrawal arrived in my bank account the next day with no problems.

Their customer services are excellent with no problems arising during my correspondence with them. This also applies to their e-mail support service. People are just too impatient. Honestly! They’re a business and their processing times have clearly been impacted by the ONGOING PANDEMIC. Be patient. Nothing wrong here!

Reading the other reviews there is a pattern emerging. Put £5 in my account earlier this week and withdrew £347 over a 24 hour period after getting incredibly lucky on the slots. Withdrew all of the money bar £10 last night and within minutes I was booted from my account and it was blocked. All I kept getting was too many sign in attempts please contact customer services which surprise surprise you can't get through to. There is no coincidence that people who are winning are getting blocked. There has been a rumour going around for a few weeks amongst shop staff claiming the company is in some serious trouble financially and they are expecting shop closures. This is only hearsay but my thoughts in these circumstances are that there's usually no smoke without fire. For anybody owed money I suggest you contact IBAS. I got this information from someone who works in their shops. Disgusting company I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Incidentally I did try to contact them through their twitter account. They completely blanked me, says it all really, bunch of amateurs

Thought i would try Betfred casino because all the rest are awful. Deposited £80 on Friday and won £400 on the live casino. Had a go Saturday never got one winning spin. Sunday nothing Monday nothing. Winnings went in today and nothing again. Every casino is exactly the same first deposit win then nothing. I would love to no how they fix that wheel.

Just washed my hands with betfred, worst company ive ever dealt with. Never received my 30 pound free bet that was in the welcome offer also never received a 5 pound free bet linked in an email. Waited nearly 2 hours to talk to someone and i did this twice as the first person was awful and refused to fix it. Then the second one was even more rude, patronising and talking to me like i was stupid while i was being scammed. I didnt know it was possible to build a contact centre in hell but i hope the rent is low there because the customer service is awful.

Worst online bookmakers I have ever experienced, blocked out of my account numerous times, changed password eventually after hrs trying. Logged out and it then blocked me again. All games came up with cryt error code and didnt work, didnt receive the free £30 bet promised in promo offer despite waggering the required £10. Live chat 283rd in queue, emails not answered after days. Save yourself the stress, it is absoutely grim, avoid at all cost, spend your cash somewhere you can enjoy the experience.
