Lost a few hundred the day before I made a deposit to bet 3,000 on a match. Betfred re-offered the bet while lowering the betting limit to slightly above 2k. Then I placed a bet of £2,000 sharp and won the bet which did settle on that day. Made a few more bets in the following days. When withdrawing on the following Monday, Betfred froze my account without sending me any notification or information. Spoken to them and was told that the match was under investigation. Betfred refused to provide me with any further information or reasonable time frame and kept silent in the following weeks. The second time I contacted them they said it is my account that is under investigation, rather than the match. They cannot stay consistent at all. Betfred refuses to name any governing body or third party who can ensure the fairness and progression of the so-called investigation. This is not strange as the investigation is “highly likely non-existing”. Surely scamming my stakes and winnings with this ugly excuse.

So stingy. They false advertise and then whenever you have a problem you sit in a queue for ages only to be told “sorry we value our customers but you should have read the terms and conditions more clearly”. They are greedy and I finally closed my account with them today as a free bet on the Premier league was issued to me last week. However all the matches got cancelled so when I logged in today to use it they said sorry it was only valid for 7days and therefore the free bet expired yesterday which is specified in the ts&cs. This is the 3rd time I have had to contact them this summer about something minor such as a £5 free bet that I probably would have lost anyway, but they have lost a customer. Terrible customer service which is long and rude. The app is also very rigid and difficult to use. I will be taking my money elsewhere.

Please please stay away folks ! Let me gamble around 5k without a winner, then got a few bets up after got back up to £1800 went to place another bet which they refused to take and suspended my account . The bet won funny old thing . Told them withdraw my funds off £1800 no longer want the account , still down around £4k overall with these clowns ! Now they’re asking me for documentation. Asked how long does it take and have they received my documents, was told they will let me know in 72 hours . Absolute shambles off a bookmakers , stay well clear folks . It will do you a favour than having to deal with these muppets . Take your money instantly and are dreadful when trying to withdraw, trying to get a small percentage off my losses back and they near enough make it impossible to deal with them. Customer service is non existent.

Betfred are not to be trusted. I had a lucky little win of £335 on a 66/1 on travis kelce to have a touchdown and over 200 receiving yards. They emailed me to say they have made a business decision to stop all promotions and reduced my bet stakes to 73p. This company is a joke they got upset about paying me a few hundred I’d dread to think what they would be like paying a few thousand. I closed my account with these downers.

Hi I am a67 year old pensioner who recently lost my husband. I knew my hubby was a fan of bet fred.so idecided to join myself.so I deposited and spent £10.as was required to have some free bets.when 1 enquired why I did not receive them.i was told I misspelt my name.ksye. I put,my name is kaye.then they told me i cannot have the free bets because of another account on my address.which of course was my late husband’s.all this was explained to betfred.but they told me nothing they can do.is business so bad,or are they so greedy they have to rob a pensioner and widow.shameful.they don’t deserve a licence.

Very slow withdrawal process fast withdrawal which supposed too be instant or in few hours don’t come through you can’t see winning in balance until they approve, unless you ready to wait for payout for 48hours when suggest to look somewhere else ,customer support copy paste the messages don’t try to help at all

I have just been cost 10s of free spins for forgetting to opt in on vegas on their promotion. Went on customer service and explained it was a genuine mistake and the agent basically fobbed me off and said tough luck! Im a good long term customer and discretion would have kept me happy but complete greed was shown by the company and i dont feel like i want to use betfred again anytime soon until this is rectified. Its a matter of principle! You shouldnt have to remember to opt in every single week (considering i do 90% of the time as well!)

Played on hot drops slot machine. Changed the stake to 40p and span 1/2 a dozen times and won 36p. Checked balance – still £14.90 left game went to another slot and had no money left. Went to transaction history and saw it had taken £2 a spin. Went to chat and they gave the company line of – you didn’t change it there’s nothing we can do. Obviously not interested in investigating a potential bug when they can just steal their customer’s money.

Went to put a bet on for my neighbour on the golf as he can’t get there himself . Gave him the slip with the odds on which was 50/1 . He wasn’t too happy as on oddschecker it was showing as 80/1 so a 30 points difference . Rang customer services and they said it was correct but at no time on oddschecker history had he been 50/1 only 80/1 . Was told the price in shops sometimes differ from Betred onoddschecker ( what by 30 points ! ) . This firm deserve all the bad press they get and are the worse of all the bookmakers . AVOID !
