Used to be fun to play the slots but not any more. Just put £40 in and the highest return was £1.46. Don’t even get a run for my money. Deposits are greedily gobbled up. I play every now and again hoping that someone has ‘turned back the screw’ to make the slots how they used to be.

Betfred are a load of scammers and 1 star is too many! So last year I was playing a casino game and got a bonus round and within the bonus round I got up to £2250 then suddenly the game froze so I had to log out then back in and surprise surprise that money was nowhere to be seen. Betfred claimed they could not find this on the system so no way of retrieving this money! I should have learned my lesson then!Most recently, without notice they blocked by account but a quick phone conversation with their ‘compliance’ team was enough to unfreeze my account with no request for documentation. 2 days later I made a small deposit and was starting to win some of my money back, but of course Betfred does not want you winning, so once again they froze my account without notice. This time they wanted evidence my funds were legitimate so I gave them payslips, P60, work bonus letters, etc etc that they asked for in dribs and drabs and going back further and further. Then started asking for inheritance letter, shares etc, clearly wanted to keep asking until there was something I didn’t have, so they could keep my account frozen. They want you to keep depositing but if you start to win they don’t like it! Scammers – stay well clear of Betfred!! Howiej1984

Opens account last night. Deposited 130 using my own PayPal. The final 20 quid deposit didn’t show up on bedfred account, asked customer service to look into it. Gave the. Transaction numbers ect. Screenshot ect.Account suspended within 2 hours.Reason being. 3rd party account???,What 3rd party.I opened the account i used my only PayPal. That’s it.FULL OF S%(_TSCAMMERS

I used to enjoy Betfred! However, now its very strange.. past few weeks have been horrendous bonus features non existent.. if I’m lucky to get one the returns are insulting 50p stake £1.35 bonus return. Also my games crash a lot and lag me out. I take regular time outs and have a set spending limit on my account it’s like I’m being penalised by being sensible???

Bet Fred have frozen my wifes account because she used my debit card to deposit. I have contacted them and they are saying that she is not entitled to the money and saying it is locked in the account. The customer service advisor offered no support whatsoever. Live chat doesn’t work as you get passed the bot and then no advisor joins.Happy to take the money deposited but not so happy to return it. Always on their terms. Pay us the money you owe!

Speaking to actually people as oppose to robots, I have nothing but trouble with other firm, but betfred have got it right because of the respect they show you with any problems you may have, hopefully they can keep me as a customer for many years.

I have one complaint other than that I’m satisfied, when I opened account, placed 1st bet £10 it was accepted using my bank card, but I was refused promotion offers, because I never had the ID asked for,,, but I could have used anyone’s bank card for the bet, why wasn’t I asked for photo of me holding my own bankcard,, but you accept a poxy utilities bill,,,as ID for initial promotional gift,,,I,d be surprised if you haven’t had this query before👌

Had a 7 team accumulator that if succesful would have paid in excess of £600. At 4.33pm 6 out of the 7 teams were winning and the other game was 0-0 so was attempting to cash out but the function was unavailable (it had been available earlier in the daywhen the cash out figure was £32). Attempted Live Chat no answer so left that. Emailed with a screenshot of the bet requesting for someone to look at it ASAP as I wanted to cashout. Received a reply a day later that “Betfred cannot guarantee that Cashout will always be available” what a scam closing account after only joining the previous week. Avoid!

Firstly, I am a gambler. I was on a winning streak of earning over 8k. Without any warning, the company cancelled my account and stated this was due to their Safer Gambling policy. However, when I was on a losing streak and losing money to me, not once they referenced me to safer gambling or cancellation of my account. I called them up to ask why is this cancelled and they just said because of the amount, despite historically not doing so. Joke of a company. Here to take your money but when winning won’t pay up. Having put a line on last night I was then unable to watch the race without £1 in my account or having placed a bet within the last two hours. This forces me to watch on another bookmakers account and there’s the possibility of betting there to save the hassle.

I had an email from Betfred explaining that the website would be down from 11pm on the 12th February to carry out an upgrade to the website…. Roll on 48 hours and the website still isn’t accessible. I completed a promotion of wager £10 get mystery free spins, and now I’m assuming that they won’t be available when I finally get to login again. If the update is causing issues, then the website should have reverted back and then investigate the issues separately whilst allowing customers to access their funds.

Terrible customer service experience. Their compliance team asked for stacks of information, even though I have had an account with them for some time. After I provided them with everything they wanted, they then asked for 3 months bank statements and personal ID for my wife! My account was not a joint account and she had zero to do with Betfred. Because I was unable to provide that information, they have permanently suspended me, until I provide that information.

Complete waste of time of a company. Decide to close your account with no given reason or written communication after winning a few bets. If it wasn’t for me contacting them chasing they wouldn’t even contact you. Couldn’t access my account 2 days account because they were working on the site yet again during mid-week, mid-afternoon UK horse racing! The log in feature then was’t working when I went back on 2 days later. I finally managed to log in, more by luck than design. The appearance of the site has changed significantly and my bet was taken before I had actually confirmed it. No doubt an intentional ploy in “upgrading” the site. Each part of a stakes about, doubles and treble bet is now subject to a minimum stake of 50p, not just the combined bet as a whole. This has changed with the site upgrade. Added to all this, Betfred is the slowest by far in calculating and crediting winning bets. All in all, a very poor experience and getting worse, not better. I would not use them but for the fact they are the only online bookie to take stakes about bets.

Terrible company I’ve been advised they can close an account permanently anytime they wish and once this is done you will never have access to the account again or be allowed to withdraw any funds you have either won or paid in. Betfred are holding my winnings and deposits and I will never get them back.Be aware and read all the terms as they cover this in the terms and say the have the right to do it.RIP OFF

Betfred are scammers.. if they’re not then their technology is a disgrace.. Signed up for free 150 spins when deposting 10 and playing 10 pounds on games. Said free spins will be added in 48 hours well its a week later and no such spins have appeared. The live chat is not even chaired.. theres never any response. I tried 3 times Have emailed and still no proper response. Absolute joke of a company..steer clear and dont trust introductory offers.
