A little disappointed with the sheepskin rug received. I fully appreciate that fleeces vary, but the first two received are twice as thick as the third one I ordered. At a cost of £155 per rug I would expect a better quality. Purchased on-line.

The delay for delivery started at 5/6 weeks, it was then extended for a further month.It was only when I phoned Customer Services that delivery was made 6 weeks following ordering. Furthermore the granite table was not as ordered, it had no central hole to accommodate a parasol. Very poor service.

I was kept informed of my delivery time and my kitchen carver chair was delivered exactly on time. I am delighted with my purchase and the service. I highly recommend this company.

Haven’t received orders as they changed my shipping address and have had to drive half way round the country trying to find the houses they delivered too .. x3 times this has happened Also when actually delivered.. times between ordering and shipping are extremely delayed Ordered on store also lanterns in May and they have now updated me saying they will be there end of September

I’ve ordered twice online with Neptune over the past 18 months, both times it said the light fittings were in stock, then after purchase, both times the receipt said expected delivery in 4 months. Long wait with no updates – I’ve had to chase both times, cancelled one order as it never arrived. They’re friendly, and the products are beautifully made – but the online shopping experience is awful.

My order was taken 23 July with delivery stated by 30th July and the parcel still hasn’t arrived by 7 August. Very disappointed as the order was 2 birthday gifts for 30 July and 4 August. No communication or update from Neptune.

My neptune products were delivered quickly and intact. I ordered a ceramic pot and some prints so there was a degree of delicateness. However the reason I have only given 4 stars is because I thought the amountt of packaging was excessive. It was all cardboard so easily recycled but I would say about 30% too much, even when protecting my products.

Store is inviting to look around . Staff helpful and informative and always offer you a coffee . The furniture is of the highest quality and so is all the other products they sell .

Purchased 3 Shaftesbury Pendant lights. Had to wait several months and all of them have bubbles in the glass. Which is a manufacturing default. I have been told by the York store that they can reorder some but these too many have imperfections.This is disappointing as the lights cost a significant amount of money.We also purchased 3 Suffolk high back chairs.2 out of the 3 have different length legs and rock. The other has a leg that has been made from different colour wood.This is disappointing and will not use or recommend Neptune again.Alot of their products are made in China and are of poor quality.Would like to be able to upload photographs.Please could you contact me as you have my contact details. It is a shame that the issues were not addressed in a more effective way when I have contacted the store previously.

I needed two new sofas, and so I qualified for a Neptune designer and she was amazing. My sitting room was transformed from a very ugly grey room, to soft blues, greens, two wonderful large Eva sofas, large footstool, two Matilda chairs, some Coniston tables, and now the room is relaxing, but also smart, and great for entertaining.

Recently called at Neptune York.Have been looking for a picture for months, and at last found the perfect one.The staff were extremely helpful, showing pictures not in stock on the computer screen. Then arranging delivery. Also bought other things which staff were again very helpful with.Excellent quality products supported by excellent customer service.

I love Neptune and have been a loyal customer for many years – the quality is exceptional and the staff are fantastic. The only problem I find is stock availability and delivery times. For instance, it would be incredible if next day delivery was an option. I completely understand that market pressures influence this, along with stock availability. However from a customer perspective, this would be an amazing improvement.

Like your products a lot but whenI try to exchange an item i bought on line in store. I had to pay for the exchange before the refund comes back in a week. You’re holding my 150 and had to pay another 120.

Neptune – pretty things and a lot of good quality things too! I would not look any further for a high quality furniture at more or less reasonable price, which is also very well designed. But boy, oh boy, a few of your staff I had the pleasure of meeting have a snobbish attitude. Do your business a favor and train your staff to be nice. This won’t cost much but will make such a difference!! After all, you don’t want to be constantly putting your items on sale. Best of luck!

I have recently acted as the main contractor and overall project manager on the renovation of a large Victorian house in Ipswich.The owners of the property had complete control over the finish and quite early on had decided on a Neptune kitchen.As a development company also, we have used numerous companies over the years for our kitchen supply but although heard of Neptune had not used them ourselves.I was not sure what to expect and it is always a concern when we hand control of what is a very large part of the build, over to a company that we have not worked with before. From the first site meeting with Nish, I was confident this element of the project was not going to be an issue for me.Rob the site surveyor and technical point of contact, was excellent. Renovation seldom runs smoothly and Rob made numerous site visits to discuss the M&E, check measurements during the fit out and arrange adjustments to the furniture where necessary. He was also able to move delivery and fit dates around when bad weather in March prevented us getting water tight in time. This was a welcome intervention.The fitter Alvro was also very good and rarely bothered me with fitting issues he may have had.All in all it was a really stream lined process and I would recommend Neptune to others.I cannot speak for the owners and their experience in the showroom but from my perspective I was impressed with the company and their team,Gary SallowsChapel New Homes

Why haven’t discovered you before? I visited on Friday, looking for a gift for a friend Laura Em( long hair) gave me loads of ideas put in my budget no hard self and no pressure. I will certainly be back for the customer service alone.

Good service in store and a fine product. Our issue was that two of four items arrived damaged so very frustrating to have to wait for replacements. Customer service eventually called us and said there was a further delay and even after stating this was an issue we have still not had any further contact. So a few weeks later and still no wardrobe or replacement table. Disappointing from such a high end product. We chose Neptune over Susie Watson for our table and wardrobe and now feel this was a bad decision

After not getting a good connection on the website I sent a message to be contacted immediately and told a store would contact me ….the service I got from that store was extremely impressive and this is coming from a retired buyer of Harrods and Sacks in New York. Well done Neptune

We have just finished installing our beautiful Suffolk kitchen in our house in Spain. From the moment I walked into the showroom in Cheltenham I felt so welcomed and supported in what I was looking for. From having a delicious cup of coffee to discussing the details of our project, Patsy could not have listened better or understood our space more fully. Even though small, she came up with some great ideas and advice and was endlessly patient and enthusiastic. Now it has arrived and we chose the standard colour of Driftwood and Silver Birch, which look natural and calm in our space. The craftsmanship is excellent and the interiors of each cabinet are attractive and seemingly more spacious than expected. The aftercare for installation that we have received has been very helpful. I would highly recommend Neptune for anyone looking for a new kitchen.

Overall the experience was good which is why I have 4* and feel less would be unfair and we are happy with the products. Also the men that delivered our furniture and built it were absolutely brilliant. However, with the design service the lady we were using left and after that communication wasn’t great. I had to chase to find out when items were being delivered, I was informed that one was going to be a month late and there was no apology, and I got no notice of when this item was coming and we were away so it was left outside our house for a night until our neighbour noticed and collected it. We were told a designer would come and help ‘set up the room’ but no one showed and even the delivery men were surprised by this. I understand that perhaps our order was less than others (circa £5k) but this is still a lot of money and we should be felt to be valued whatever we are spending. I did even mention how I was looking to do a lot more in our house (design 2 new sitting rooms etc) but I will seriously consider this now having had this experience.

Purchased a nice candle in April. The wick has burned right down to the bottom leaving around 60% of the wax behind. It now doesn’t light. I politely requested their comments about this deficient item (we know Neptune candles are not cheap, but we love the fragrance) as we are fairly proficient with a range of candles in our home and we’ve not encountered this before. To be replied to with ‘read the instructions’ (I paraphrase a little) is not overly helpful …. I’ve reviewed Neptune very positively in the past so sadly this is an exception.

I have dithered about writing a review about the Neptune sofa I bought as the staff are very good and my complaint was dealt with without quibble. However, I did waste 4 months waiting for a sofa that was not the same as the one I tested in the showroom or as per the advertisement. The ad for the Olivia sofa referred to sinking into this comfortable sofa and indeed the one in the showroom was very comfortable. However, what I received was a rock hard sofa that felt like you were sitting on a wooden bench! The problem appears to be that the furniture is made in china and quality is hit and miss. I understand from a staff member that this is a frequent problem. The showroom, interior layouts, staff and manager are all excellent but unfortunately the products that I have purchased have not. For over £3000.00 I got a sofa that was unusable. We did keep it for 3 weeks and noticed that the fabric rucked up in that short period of time so we imagine that it would not have lasted long. I was offered a full refund which was good but the waiting and wasted time was very frustrating.

Always such a treat visiting Neptune Chesham! I attended the colour event in store yesterday with a friend and we had such a lovely time. It had such a relaxing atmosphere with lots of nibbles and drinks, and a beautiful goodie bag to take home, which was a lovely surprise! The talk from Simon was so informative and interesting, and I came away with so many ideas and tips for my own home! We then enjoyed a mooch around the store, which looked beautiful as ever, and the whole team couldn’t be more attentive, friendly and welcoming throughout our visit- We always had a refreshment in hand! Overall a wonderful experience as always, and I look forward to attending lots more upcoming events in the future!

Love the way the shop is set out as makes it easy to visualise items in a home setting. Beautiful surroundings and overall ambience and the staff in the Harston and z Bury St Edmunds stores are very friendly. Love exploring the shop and getting inspiration for home interiors as in the middle of renovating our property. Products are expensive but you certainly get what you pay for. Highly recommend.

I’ve just completed the first phase of work on my new house and I couldn’t have done it without the support, inspiration and direction of Vicky Hill, the Interior Designer at Knutsford Neptune. Vicky is so easy to work with and I felt a great connection with her immediately. She has an easy, relaxed, friendly style and her enthusiasm for what she does shines through. The project has felt like a collaboration. Vicky has listened to my ideas, been honest (which I greatly valued) and her commitment and support, even with the finer detail of the scheme, has been first class; she’s clearly a very talented designer. I’m very much looking forward to continuing to work with Vicky to complete my project and do so with the knowledge that I’m in very safe hands. Thanks Vicky.I’d also like to say well done to the rest of the team at the Knutsford store. They always make you feel special; a super professional, friendly bunch. x

Patsy from the Cheltenham store helped us choose our items and gave some very helpful advice on colour, the green inside to our bookcase is really attractive and not something we would have though of doing. She came to oversee the delivery of all 4 pieces of furniture to ensure we were totally happy with the order and delivery. We could not have asked for more attention to ensure customer satisfaction.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Gail from the design team and I cannot express enough how thrilled I am with the result! We now have a beautiful kitchen corner with fitted benches and table which has transformed my space into a functional and aesthetically pleasing haven.From the very start, was always available for my questions and patiently listened and responded to all my concerns, showing a genuine commitment to ensuring I was happy with the plans. But it didn’t end there – when it came to the installation, Steve, the expert fitter, demonstrated incredible skill and determination. Despite facing challenges posed by an awkward corner, he went above and beyond to ensure that everything fit perfectly. The end result exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Gail, Steve, and the entire team, for making my kitchen corner perfect for creating memories with my family.

Customer service was excellent and so is the quality and fabric of my ottoman…. and the colour is stunning! I was called and emailed regarding the delivery and the delivery men were lovely, so professional yet super friendly. They took the packaging away and placed my ottoman in position in the bathroom on the first floor. Thank you Neptune, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you!!

Its a miserable wet Monday in August, and I had seen that Neptune had a sale on, so popped in to get some wonderful washing up liquid, and I was offered a coffee! That was so welcoming, the most delicious coffee arrived in one of Neptune’s fabulous cup and saucers! I was served by a lovely young woman (Shannan) and got some excellent items (I also had to buy a cup and saucer!) I love the quality and harmonious displays and often go just to get some inspiration!
