BetNeptune Review

I bought a jar to hold spaghetti, and despite measuring the pasta before purchasing the jar to confirm it would fit, and despite the picture on the website displaying spaghetti in the jar – the jar did not fit standard spaghetti. I was told by customer service that the marketing team break the pasta for the purpose of the picture. Incredibly misleading, as are the measurements on the website as they include the top of the lid including the knob in the measurements. We had a bathroom quoted, full kitchen ordered and delivered, two problems with kitchen, this is the nail in the coffin, we are no longer using Neptune. It is not just the product its the customer service. I should have gone to the Range to purchase a jar that fits pasta for a fraction of the cost.

Right from the initial meeting that I had with Jess, she understood my vision and we soon were creating some great ideas together. I really enjoyed the presentation meeting as she had created a wonderful mood board, lots of visuals and I could really see our lounge design was going to be wonderful. Within 12 weeks it was time for everything I had ordered to be put into place and wow what a reveal and transformation from a bare room to a wonderful space where my husband and I can now entertain and enjoy relaxing in our transformed space.

We recently had a kitchen and utility room designed and built by Neptune.Matt Sowerby designed us a beautiful kitchen – he had lots of good ideas and some great suggestions and tips.There were a few admin hiccups along the way which is why I haven’t given it five stars BUT the team were very helpful in explaining / rectifying these.Thank you – especially Matt for going above and beyond.

Have bought many pieces from Neptune over the last 10 years. Quality remains consistently excellent – looks amazing all these years later. Recently purchased again, delivered and installed by excellent chaps, furniture quality superb, still include a little pot of touch up paint, greatly appreciated ! Keep doing what you’re doing Neptune!

First on line experience was made easy by you sending information about delivery times etc. and DPD were excellent keeping us informed of delivery times etc.

Store well presented with very helpful sales staff. The problems arise on delivery – Neptune could not deliver anything on the agreed and confirmed dates pushing delivery out multiple times.They are further required to unbox and assemble items but in both instances the delivery team dropped the products and ran. Only after complaining on the second item did Neptune send back a team to finish the delivery. Great product but the shocking delivery process is not worth the wasted time and repeat phone calls.If delivery includes unboxing, assembly and removal of packaging then it should be done – one should not have to complain before the service is provided.

Excellent service from Freya and the team at Guildford Neptune who couldn’t have been more helpful. They helped when I couldn’t get the website to work and ordered the table I wanted for me. A slight snag when it was delivered with a small crack in it but a quick call to Freya and she sorted a replacement. The quality of the table is excellent but even better is the lovely service I received. Thank you to all at Guildford

My Suffolk Neptune kitchen was fitted around 9 months ago and I couldn’t be happier with the end result and the whole design process. I was a bit nervous to approach Neptune as had only had high street kitchens fitted previously, but the moment I spoke with our designer – Claire – she put me at ease and was so helpful throughout the whole process. Claire listened to my initial thoughts and ‘wish list’ carefully, considered the space, and came up with the most beautiful design which, having used it for 9 months now – is also extremely practical – we can’t fault it!! It fits the large proportions of our space perfectly and looks like it’s always been there, so we couldn’t ask for more. Claire made the design process super easy as she was extremely knowledgeable – she knew the product so well and wasn’t scared to suggest when something wouldn’t work and could suggest a better option straight away. I went back and forth with hundreds of questions and she was always helpful, knowledgable, accommodating and extremely patient!! We also went with neptune fitters and definitely recommend this as they also had extremely good knowledge of the product and were very meticulous, so the end product is perfect to the mm. We are so so pleased we went with Neptune and would definitely use them again for any future kitchens – preferably using Claire again as our designer! The design, construction and end product are such good quality.

Easy ordering online. Kept me informed of delivery date and packaging was very good, so item arrived in excellent condition. The products I have bought have been of excellent quality and look exactly as they do online.

I brought a voucher of £1000 during the beginning of the pandemic which coming out of the pandemic I had completely forgotten about, come the time when I spoke to Neptune Bath they were willing to offer me £0 of this voucher, not even any condolences, £50 of the voucher, nothing. I have been a good customer of theirs and honest the service was disgraceful, the staff was rude and frankly not very sensitive to the fact I’d just lost a great sum of money to their store for nothing in return. I will not shop there again, or send any of my clients that way.

We visited the York store and were helped by a gentleman who I chatted to about my old mini (I think his was the newer one in the car park) and he answered lots & lots of questions that we had about the flooring, and also the modular Chawton range of furniture.Went out of his way (supported by his colleagues too) to get samples, recommend a floor fitter that they use in store & for their own properties, give details that weren’t immediately obvious.What I loved was there was no hard sell, no “buy it today and we will give you x% off but make your decision now” (although the furniture isn’t cheap so a few percent off would be great). We just got quiet, helpful, calm, knowledgeable competence.A great in store experience

We have been to the Neptune/Outlet store in Swindon at least 6 times and every time the staff are really courteous and polite. We always have a coffee in the cafe because the products are so good.We have two small dogs and when we were leaving I asked the (Scottish) gentleman working in the kitchen if I could empty the dogs water bowl in the sink.He took the bowl, emptied it, washed it and dried it with a paper towel. So kind of him.You get good staff with good training. I have no doubt Neptune’s training is excellent.We live in Oxfordshire, but we are hoping to move to Harrogate in Yorkshire.I was delighted to see that Neptune have a store near York which isn’t far.Result 👍

It is always easy to be critical of companies but I also feel that we should provide balance and recognise great service when it is received – and for me, this was 3 times in 4 days.Twice from the Chesham branch where Patsy (who I understand to be new) worked with me over the phone to research and investigate a bed I was interested in from their showroom. She took pictures, sent them through to my email and reserved it for me. Second, Laura from the same branch helped me a few days later when I phoned up to purchase the bed in a super helpful way. Ordered a tall lamp from Neptune I’d had my eye on. Impressed by the quality/sturdiness and speed of delivery during busy xmas period. My only negatives would be that for the price, i think it should come with a bulb. Also the cable isn’t as long as I’d have liked.

Vicky Hill transformed our tired old drawing room into a beautiful entertaining room. She worked with us and came up with a beautiful design that really showed the room to its best effect. She has also advised us on design ideas for our snug, dining room and hall. She has listened to our brief and helped us bring our ideas to reality, always taking into account what we want to achieve, but advising us if she thought there was a better option. She has taken the stress out of trying to make design choices and has always been on hand to help if we call her needing advice.We wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. Ordered 8 glasses, already have 4 the same. Only issue is the ridiculous sticky labels on the bottom of each glass, they are so difficult to remove

The team at this store, and Debbie in particular, really have gone above and beyond in terms of customer service this Christmas. I was looking for some Christmas decorations, that were sold out online but we’re available at the Wimbledon store, for an event between Xmas and New Year. Debbie was just so helpful & definitely went above my expectations of what a physical store can do in order to get these to me in time for my event. The team have also been super helpful in helping me to purchase some other items in the post Christmas sale. I’m looking forward to being able to go to the store in person & thanking them in person!Thank you!!

Once again, Laura was brilliant. She helped us to choose dining room chairs and fabrics. She is extremely knowledgeable about all of the Neptune products and her manner is always supportive and never pushy. She knows which colours and fabrics will work well together. The only downside is that when her and my wife get together I know it’s going to be an expensive visit.

Lovely lamp – and super quick delivery. Lamp looks exactly like the picture and lamp shade is a perfect neutral. Delivery made sure to hand the parcels directly to me and did not leave on the doorstep for someone to steal!

I love the items I buy from Neptune my only criticism would be that the postage is quite expensive if ordering smaller items. Otherwise great service and lovely 😻 items

I absolutely love the scent of the soap and hand wash we ordered.My only niggle would be the amount of cardboard packaging used to send them, could it maybe be a little less?

Candle great value, unfortunately a couple of my Christmas baubles/decorations I got were broken though but they can easily be super glued together

I think neptune should order enough stock as everything I wanted I.e jephson wren was always out of stock then to be told neptune was not selling them anymore.also the other birds which are new will not be in stock until April.

I LOVE Neptune! Whatever you buy there, big or small, is always top quality and beautiful. Staff in their shops are super helpful and friendly. It might be pricier than other brands, but I would say it’s money well spent.

I have recently had a new Neptune kitchen. Eva, the designer from the Chiswick store, was absolutely amazing. Throughout she said, “I am happy when you are happy”. I was delighted with the end result and the overall service, so much so that I returned to Eva to design my living living room. She has transformed my home. I could not recommend Neptune more.

Just requested some sample paint colours. Prompt response and the right shades.Had a slight issue in that I ordered two samples and they came individually which surprised me in that they would both have fitted into one package meaning less waste ,and postage cost. I phoned after the first one arrived thinking they had forgotten the other one. Pleasant staff on phone said other on its way! Loved one of the shades and will be ordering more later.

Unfortunately they didn’t have the lamp I wanted in the store but I ordered it anyway. To my amazement it arrived two days later and just before Christmas. The lamp itself was in a sale and it is really good quality. We’re all very happy with it. Thank you Neptune.

What Can I say, Called up the main head office after having a poor experience. I spoke to a wonderful lady called Eve, her understanding and politeness was incredible and this has ended up with my wife making another order. I wish I could vote 10 starts! 5 doesn’t sem enough.

I had no issues with the order itself, which arrived quickly and before Christmas. The product was great too. But £6.95 for delivery is daylight robbery. I only paid it because it was a present for my dad and he really wanted it. I have a Neptune store nearby, but there was no option to get it delivered there – I would have been happy to do that (it was out of stock in-store). And you have to spend £100 to get free delivery, which is also ridiculous. It’s a shame, as they have some super products – but with delivery costs like that, I won’t be buying online from them again.

The ladies in Neptune Chesham are always so warm and welcoming. They kindly reserved some Ripley tea light holders and Christmas trees for me when their delivery arrived, which I then collected in store….just in time for Christmas presents!
