Avoid this company and do not deposit for promotion i topped up £10 to get £40 in free bets thought i would use it on the football next week…. signed in to see my £40 had vanished , according to them terms is use within 7 days ???? never know any website that forces you to use your promotion in 7 days. Scandalous

If you are in the same situation make sure you ask them to delete your account and send you a email to say they have deleted all your information and details for Data Protection. I have just been told I need to wait 1 month for a email to say all my information has been deleted and betfred have no personal information of mine to sell or pass on.

Disgusting site! Scam! Nothing but a hustle to build ur confidence. They get you trading higher then they swipe the lot. All you get from support is a series of "I told you so" and arguing they are legit! "No you didn’t tell me you could manipulate the chart to steal people’s money"!!!. I lost about €200,000 to them. Betfred was a decent company until late last month and it showed me what a scam company they are. Disabled my wallet with over $13007 in it for no reason and support couldn't help after days of no reply. I contacted Bestresolute.com and they helped me out and were able to get back my money from them. Wish I could give no stars…disgusting company ..who has the time to read 1million terms and conditions they've set up to get out of every scenario..i opened up an account with a 10 pound to get 40 pound free bets..at odds over even…I done this….and never received my free bonuses..when I eventually got through to live chat.. Had two accumulation bets on for the Euros
Was going really well so disided to cash out early, total would have been around £220 from two £1 bets. The two bets then disappeared and were not in my open bets list anymore. So I phoned them to find out what was going on. They could see my bets that I had placed but didn't know why I could access them to cash out. Endless to say I missed my opportunity to cash out of my bets. I find it funny that the two bets that were doing really well all of a sudden dissappear when you disided to cash out.

So I signed up for thier new customer offer, bet £10 and receive £30 in free bets. Now I am relatively new to betting and their terms were difficult to understand but my £10 bet didn't qualify since the odds weren't "EVS or greater". I phoned up and was told that if I made another £10 deposit and bet on odds which were "EVS or greater" then I would be awarded a £10 free bet?? Not the £30 in free bets that the new customer offer was, despite putting in double the money that is required for the offer! This doesn't seem right or fair and I made the same mistake with other betting companies (Virgin Bet and 888Sport) who all upheld thier initial new customer offer when I alerted them to my mistake – kudos to Virgin Bet and 888Sport!

To me, BetFred hasn't been fair and could be seen to be taking advantage of vunerable people. I read the T&Cs but didn't understand the difficult wording of "EVS or Greater" (worded badly to make it difficult to understand?). If I was a vunerable person would I have contacted BetFred and made a fuss or just accepted that BetFred have taken advantage of me…

I also think this one-off experience is a good indicator of the culture of the company: money-grabbing + taking advantage of their customers, especially when looking at other reviews on TrustPilot.

There are many betting companies out there, use a better one than BetFred!

This company cares about one thing and one thing only, your money, or should I say, their money. Because that is exactly what it becomes as soon as you press that deposit button, there are much more fairer betting companies out that to choose from that will actually pay you out from time to time. This sorry excuse of a company does not deserve to have a gambling license, because gambling would imply that you have a chance of winning, which you never do with Betfred, and I hope that everyone thinking about setting up an account with them reads this review before they do so. There is just one word that does this company justice: thieves. Avoid and boycott at all costs.

I qualified for their promotion of "Bet £10 in-play and receive £5 free bet. They then closed my account without providing a reason and refused to honor the free bet. I would advise avoiding at all costs as they can and will just abuse their power to close your account of refuse your bets without reason!

Their customer service has been absolutely dreadful recently. Consistently failing to provide free bets on time, then waiting hours in a live chat queue to claim the free bets. The live chat agents then are unwilling to credit the free bets owed, with escalation to management required to obtain the free bets.

The agents are extremely rude and provide incredibly poor service. They suddenly end chats without asking if I'm finished. One agent accused me of using the health condition of Eriksen to claim my free bet! I was shocked.

To top it off, I've requested compensation or free bets as an apology for the terrible service and have been declined consistently. Awful.

Wish I could share screenshots here. These guys are so dirty. They have a money back as a free bet offer if you bet on a pick your punt (bet builder). Literally every price is reduced when you add it to your slip. For example, Croatia + the draw double chance is 6/4. As soon as you add it to your slip it goes down to 6/5. This is a scam. Even the draw is 11/4 but when you add it to your slip it goes down to 12/5!!! This is to recoup the free bets they have to pay out no doubt. Never seen such a scam in my life! I contacted support who I had to explain pick a punt to when it's their site!!! Then I got the excuse that it's a price change. No it's not, a price change would mean some markets go down and some go up, not all down!!
