Betfred Review

AVOID! I’ve been betting with these a week, had a few winners, made a few withdrawals, account gets locked and asked to verify. I send my documents in as asked. All this time though my account is locked so I can’t use it, over a day later nothing still. Asked to withdraw my funds as I had done nothing wrong, ghat request got ignored. I have money in my account but can’t access it. I have some shocking reviews, the fact you have to buy or earn best price on horses is a joke. It was ok ish untill I started .among withdrawals, oh and I was told its with the safer gambling team aswell so if you like a bet on your day off do use these because if you place more than 1 bet it’s makes you look like your not in control and they review your account to make sure you can afford it. I will be withdrawing funds and closing account as soon as I have access again, when ever that will be.

When I first used this site I found it satisfactory but obviously far below the main sites like bet365. What I liked about it was it has a decent loyalty scheme where you earn points on every bet and these aquire over a short period of time to a decent free bet. However, this site dramatically changed when I started to do well and have a bit of luck. I managed to build my balance up to over 2500 with some very lucky football bets and after a lucky weekend I went to put on a Monday night accum only to find my max bet allowed was 1p, yes 1p. When I contacted them initially they said it was their traders and nothing to do with customer services and then after some gentle pushing they quoted some small print about basically they can do what they want. I asked for one reason why they were doing this and their response was that they were unlikely to revert any changes made. Bunch of amateurs and it was clear by my betting pattern that I simply got lucky and if they had have done the right thing they would been on the right side of me in a short space of time, STAY AWAY.

False advertisement. If I could leave a photo here I would. Signed up lost my bet and got no free bet as stated I would on sign up. Sad site Sad treatment. Sites like this are obviously on there way out. Not worth the headache and unusual odds on games somethings not right here. In my opinion.

I'm pleased with Betfred after depositing £10 to take advantage of the welome offer of 100 free spins. I was not credited with my free spins straight away, although the ad did state I must play off my £10 on slots to recive the 100 free spins.
I won £12 within the second spin, and was happy as this gave me 12 more spins as I was playing £1 a spin. I then won £3 on the fourth spin. And on the sixth spin I won £89 … I couldnt belive it so I played off my deposit of £10 plus played off the £12 £3 and 9 of the £89 leaving me with a round sum of £80 to withdraw. Again…. Just reading these reviews it makes my stomach curl..ive had an account for over a year, provided id to depsoit! not used it in a while, had a little bonus.. Managed to turn it into a substantial amount.. No surprise I withdraw then my account is restricted and I cant log in, ive sent all the documents they asked for… Id, utility bills, photo holding id, 2 phone verifications.. Proper theives, i have a account with betfred only last sunday 10/10/21 got a tx and email off them saying have 5 free spins on us they call it super spins day… There is also promos which you opt in and get free spin rewards on the monday they call that one free spin acc, so i thought might aswell opt in if im going to play anyway!!! When i went to login i was shocked to find out that my access was denied and the reason was safer gambling team were reviewing my account. Its now saturday after and account is still the same, no access and ripped of all my bonuses… I find it really insulting that they can do this after spending good earned money. I gave in money and won. When I tried to withdraw it they said that they can't withdraw Mastercard. So basically you give your money in and if you win you can't withdraw it. I have screenshot of the conversation where they refuse my withdrawal.

I too have had a problem with betfred regarding their greyhound promotion. I have placed various bets as I always do on the grey hounds usually of £10 wins. But they say i haven't qualified for the promotion due to not being within a time scale.how can you check these when you online account doesn't allow you access to these things. I have to take their word for it but I know I placed more than three bets within their time scale. Rip Off comes to mind. Dont use BetFred go to a bookie that is big and seldom make mistakes like William Hill. Their site is much better!

Wow wow wow!! This is by far the worst betting site and also the machines in store are just as bad. Just avoid playing or betting with them so they go bust. It’s a complete scam. I’m a gambler and I’ve won and lost thousands with many betting companies but I’ve literally never ever won with betfred. It’s not just bad luck when I use them, it’s scamming!! The returns on the games on this site are a disgrace. Although they claim similar return to player percentage to other sites on the same games you consistently get at least 20% less returns the games also start playing slowly which almost always means you are going too lose. If you enjoy losing your money without getting any value or decent gameplay this site will deliver that. I would not recommend this site to my worst enemy. Definitely one too avoid

Their support team will lie direct to your face. I requested support because when clicking £10 button their app would make the a bet of my full balance instead.

Their support team flat out told me that there is no way that a customer can place a bet for their whole balance without typing in the full balance. Right in the betting slip is the option to go "all in". So either their support staff are liars or they are incompetent and lack basic knowledge of their own faulty platform.

Either way go with a different bookmaker who will not steal from you and then lie to you about it.

They run a promotion where you could get a 10 pounds voucher. All customers had to do was to opt-in by clicking on a banner. After the deadline had passed I called to chase it up (which is pretty normal by their standards) and was told that "unfortunately I was not successful in opting in". The agent then proceeded to ask me IF I HAVE ANY EVIDENCE THAT I OPTED IN (???). She was "unable" to do anything of course. Unable to find my account, unable to credit the voucher and finally unable to credit a free bet instead. And that wasn't even the first time this happened! What a terrible company. Real dinosaurs awaiting their extinction.

Warning — Theives —–, I signed up yesterday and was waiting for my welcome bonus. When i queried this, I was told that i was unable to have bonuses as someone who has lived at my house previously has already claimed them. When i advised them that it was unreasonable for them to expect me to know any details from the previous tenant, they have blocked me stating that " everybody knows that you ring a company to check you are eligable first." Hi dont put any money with this apouling compony. They like to take money for example thousands and thousands. But when they block you and say they want proof of earnings fair enough they may be trying to help you. But when you try and take the money out of your account which is surely yours they say no we need proof of earnings how does that work I don't want to pay in I want the money back out what I put in . It has taken them over 2 weeks to tell me this and I had to phone them again to see what was going on with my money. Only for them to say send me wage slips and proof of earnings why do they need to know what i earn to take money out of my account i have now spoke to a solicitor who has given me some sound advice. I opened a betfred account on Sunday, and have been playing until today. Made deposits and have had successful withdrawals.

I received email stating I had a previous account that was self excluded, so my account is now closed.

Yes, it's true, I did self exclude, and it's expired, I totally forgot about this account and managed to open betfred account on Sunday.

Anyways, I asked for my balance to be withdrew, they told me its policy and terms and conditions that in breach of self exclusion funds in the account will not be withdrew.

I then said OK well I want my initial withdrawal back of £7 before they shut my account, they stayed this will also not be withdrew due to the terms.

So, I want the public to know that basically what betfred are stating here is that if I managed to deposit £1000 for example, they have a right to close.my account and keep this money, because I had a previous account that was self excluded.

Absolutely hopeless trying to register. Keeps telling me I have the wrong NIE number. Sent Photos of documents to customer services three times. All they keep telling me is I'm not registered. Went to back a horse at betfred thinking best price started at 11.am but my mistake it's 12, the horse was 7/1 everywhere but 6/1 at betfred and at bang on 12 they went 11/2 so you best price is still shorter than elsewhere (13/2 with everyone else) should have gone boylesports who give best price 8.30a.m when they open unlike betfred who wait for market moves and go a point less and then another half point less on the stroke of 12 when it's best price. Last time I bet with them!
