Had a £10 bet in play on Chelsea match whilst 0-0 at 3/1. Bet accepted but gave me 5/2 with no prior option to accept. Spoke to Gary, consulted others..said it can’t happen but it did. Ask for bet to be cancelled on principle (still 0-0) refused. Please be wary of this, can cost you money and customer service exceptionally poor.

I’m in remission from throat cancer so don’t get out that often. I decided to open an account with Betfred they were very helpful in getting me started and when I completed all the necessary questions and made a deposit I got £30 in fee bets which was amazing. I’m sure I will continue online betting in moderation with Betfred. Thanks for all your help ??

I’ve been betting on here for the last 7 days every deposit I place goes lower and lower until gone I have not once won more than I have deposited, rarely catch bonuses and when you do I’m winning 10x at best. I’ve spends hundreds in the last 7 days and have not won into profit once. I’m actually in shock how much I’ve been ripped off on Betfred I have either had the unluckiest streak of my life or this site is running away with the money. Signed up as a new customer for the welcome bonus, deposited £10 and wagered that amount. Received an email the next day asking for ID before my £60 bonus would be applied. They did not ask before I gone and spent £10. No problem as they are an established company, I sent them driving license and utility bill. Driving license was rejected because it was a provisonal license. They requested a passport or birth certificate, my passport is expired and the birth certificate seems too much for this. I have never encountered a company that rejects a provisional driving license as valid ID. This company also requests a selfie photo with an ID which is fine but again, I have never encountered a company request such things. Nearly 7 days have passed since signing up and a bit of back and forth with customer service, so the welcome bonus is not likely to be honoured (read the T&Cs).

If you use paypal ,don’t even bother to sign up or deposit any money!!! If you use paypal,you won’t get any welcome bonus or any bonus is ‘promised’ on the website. And of course it won’t say on the advertisement! You need to go through the terms and condition and read it all to be able to see. When you contact the customer service,they explain you how they can’t help you! Adverts are misleading,customer service is not helpful,their policy is misleading. You get discriminate by being excluded from the offers because you use paypal although you still deposit them with your real money!! I feel conned!!!

They do not give you the promos. The customer service is incredibly slow and rude. It’s the closest you can get to a scam without being illegal. Do not give them a penny. Its day 5 and still haven’t reimbursed me as a new customer. Keep getting excuses and they tell me to wait longer.

So after trying to log in this morning and failing, I contact support to ask why and find out that my account has been blocked until I verify myself? After 5 years of being a customer and not being asked to do this once, couple that with 1000’s of pounds worth of deposits, I find this completely disgusting. Another sham company covering their backs because of fines given out to other companies. Even though I have all the required documentation They will not being receiving it. Not once in 5 years betfred did you question my deposits or frequency.I will be contacting the Gambling Commission even If I get no joy, at least they will be aware of your disregard for their procedures.Done me favour in reality, as your site is by far the worst.
