guys ill be honest am 21 and this app is not bad. the only issue is authentication errors and bugs its annoying as if they try do it so you cant do early cash in on bets….. apart from that i got paid next day twice so iam happy and upset

Despite SBK being a clean and easy to use platform, they are forever let down by their awful withdrawal system. Where do I start? Deposits are instant, withdrawals take 6 hours…unless they fail of course. Which they do a lot. Once you contact customer service, no one is able to tell you when you will receive your withdrawal either – usually just palmed off with a “wait for a confirmation email”. In all the other bookies I’ve used, I’ve never come across a platform where a withdrawal can “fail” or get “stuck”, what does that even mean? It happens multiple times. SBK has the potential to be great but it need serious work. Can only give it 2 stars for now.

One of the worst companies I have ever encountered! I had just signed up and they suspended my account! I sent them my verification details and they emailed back after several hours waiting and said they aren’t able to verify my account. I had mistakenly put in my partners dob and I wrote to live chat explaining this and that it was no problem in changing the dob. I have bank statements and a passport. Who else could I be?? Disgusting behavior and I will never recommend this company!! Deserves 0 stars!

well ive not even heard of them until this week after a friend recommended and said they have a £10 welcome if i top up £20 deposit.

I signed up and less then 30 seconds, when trying to make a deposit, im typing my card number and BAM, my account is banned!

got an email saying im only allowed one account even though i l have just this second signed up for the first time in my life.

ive sent email to support as the live chat wouldnt work even though i clicked the link on the email. so ive now missed on the 2 events i was going to bet on because they have suspended my new account.

I call them manipulated matches, but I will love to disclose this little secret so I can help some life, am already a retired office so most times am always at home . Absolute shocking robbery, I have had a lot of money withheld with casinos but out of all of them the sheer greedyness here has really irritated me even though the value is not much at all in this case.

Had a treble last night, it came in apart from a tennis match which was still live and my selection went from 12/5 to clear favorioute so I went to sleep.

Woke up today, checked the match and it was cancelled at 1 set each and 4 games each.

Point blank refusal to pay out and they just quote their terms and condition (which do not state a match WONT be voided beyond a first set) Not a f%&@ given about the customer.

I’ve actually put around £1200 in betting with SBK and never done a withdrawal. When a company is this greedy that they won’t void and payout a £40 bet.. that’s a very bad sign.

Very very bad inplay odds as appose to others. impossible to put a bet on because it always freezes (unless the odds start going against you meanwhile or a goal is scored, in which case they will happily take your bet)

Just steer clear, these guys are honestly crooks, I have emailed them explaining the above and that I wish to close my account and they have now permenantly closed it as requested, stating that the decision made as per their T&C’s is final

Can’t stress enough how much of a trap this is to push further odds in their favour.

I'm not sure what the bad reviews are about? You just need to make sure you see what can be staked below on less popular markets. I've joined Smarkets and it's brilliant. You get paid out straight away, faster than other bookies. I've had accounts with all the big dogs and smarkets is my favourite so far. Best odds by far. They send regular emails and are very professional. Bit clunky for doing acccumaltors but I really like the platform and design. Full marks from me. Nice one Smarkets! Craig

Avoid them at all costs! Someone used my debit card to bet with this company, taking 190.00 from my account. Contacted Smarkets, and they couldn't do anything. Their response was poor, saying just report it to the police, and even asked me for the last 4 digits of my stolen debit card that I refused to do. Appalling service and company! They deserve zero stars!!

One thing I know about gambling is following the right part and for sure you will make your daily winnings. I use Smarkets, Matchbook, Betfair and Betdaq and Smarkets is definitely my favourite. Website is the easiest to use and isn't dated like some others. I can't vouch for them on the customer service side of things however as I haven't had to speak to them yet (probably a good sign)

So pleased with this exchange. Easy to use… And reliable.. Unlike MATCHBOOK who to be honest I think are a bunch of crooks who should have their licence taken away from them.. Which they did for a while last year. So have moved all my business over to SMARKETS and a no other.. Not too difficult to work out 🙂 Well done SMARKETS. Keep up the great work. Been using Smarkets for around a year now. The integration into Profit Accumulator works really well which brings the commission down to 0%, never fail to get lays matched, quick payouts. Haven't had to contact support, so can't make any comment about that (hence holding back a star, just in case)

Don’t bet with this company. You cannot win.

I have just joined. There’s not a single football game in any league let alone all
Major premiership and first leagues, that you can bet overs and unders on half time goals. The markets literally freezes or the full game. You can only manage to do 1.5 and 2.5 pre-match and your bets are completely capped.

The most return I could get was £220 off 2.5 half time goals.

In other words. This company has designed so you cannot win past £220. It’s insane. Please go to a well now bookmakers like bet365 or betfred where you won’t struggle with this.

In play goals is impossible. They freeze all markets. It’s ridiculous how this company has got a license!

I have already reported them for saying they offer markets that don’t actually exists. They need to be shut down.

The actual layout and use of the site is like the matrix. It’s just an utter joke. Please have a look before joining. Save you time and money. They won’t let you win past £220 if you are looking for goal markets like myself.

Please be very very careful if you use this exchange,
I was betting during the final frame frames of snooker match. Obviously the odds will fluctuate wildly.
I backed at 2/1 and waited until the stage of the frame at which someone found that price of interest to them as you would do for example in an in-running horse race.

My offer of £300 was taken up earlier than I expected- in fact straight away. My player went on to win and my account looked very healthy which was a great feeling as I`m a continual loser. I withdrew the money straight away to stop me losing it the same evening,

The following day I learned that my winning bet was voided and the money taken from my withdrawal.
I was told it was because of their `erroneous bets rule`. It was +/- 15 % from the `true-market` price they said. (who on earth would know this in a volatile market).
What I suspect is happening is that their own traders are using this rule to `mop up` some free bets knowing that they can reclaim the money if they lose.
I had no idea of this rule and would never have thought to reclaim my losses should the result have gone against me,
How could I possibly have any faith that I will be paid out in the future especially in low liquidity volatile markets.

So I intend to close this account once I`ve investigated them further, Please be careful before you fall into their trap.

I am surprised no-one else mentioned how horrible the site is to navigate and how messy and confusing are the bet details. The online help do seem to be a bit rude actually, but the worst thing was the owner taking a political stance which I thought was out of order so I withdrew all my money. Of the four exchanges I think smarkets is the worst.

It took more than the normal protocol for me to get my money withdrawn from them. First they kept using delay tactics with me in ensuring my money is not given to me by requesting all sort of documents. Later, they requested an exorbitant withdrawal fee which I paid reluctantly. It was when they requested for a document which I had provided earlier, I figured something might be wrong. I reported my situation to Mrs Joanne a renowned recovery specialist Joannedawn56 via email and I got my money back after a long charge-back process.

I used SMarkets for 4 years..great experience..even went down to their offices near tower bridge for a survey..very impressed..then after a winning streak.all of a sudden they close my account..no reason…so my advice is is you want to lose all the time by all means use Smarkets ..if you think you are reasonably good a betting don't touch them with a barge pole…i am sure they use their own software to create their own bets for winning..use the main two betfair and betdaq at least most of the time they are fair.

**DO NOT USE** Was recently a customer. Used the cash out feature and received a message saying 'cashout successful'. However the cash out was not honoured. Customer services couldnt care less because I didnt screen shot the confirmation… Because who screen shots a "cash out successful' message. I would advise you use another betting platform so that you also dont get done over in the same way I did.

Betting on the US golf last weekend they suddenly suspended my account leaving me unable to close or hedge some decent positions.My positive deposit balance is also suspended.They said refer to an email,yet none was received.

Lack of support for higher tier matched bettors & affiliates, don't forget about the braindead verification team.

Context:

I've been a matched bettor for the last 5 years, the last 3 months on smarkets has been a NIGHTMARE, I've been having constant back and forth with my account being locked & higher level of verification required to go about my day to day job of matched betting.

I showed them months of paypal & bank transactions with bookmaker withdrawals/ deposits to prove im a matched bettor & showed my wealth / current lines of credit & even balances in other exchanges. But they already know im a matched bettor as I've bene affiliating them for the last 5 years.

After continued weeks of arguing with them to tell me clearly what they want from me, they just kept repeating the same crap that i need to prove my wealth, even tho i literally showed them everything. I ask them to tell me exactly what they want and they dodge the question.

Oh well, guessing matchbook will enjoy my 500k-1m a month staking.

Matched Betting has been a revelation this year and Smarket's has been the back bone of all my bets.

Easy to navigate, zero commission offer and fast access to my money when needed.

Only reason not to give them a 5 is place odds could be easier/quicker to locate, especially when speed is of the essence!

Wiped off my 181 pound balance . I placed my multiple bets and I won . I had a balance of 281 placed bet of 100 at team B then I placed 181 on team A. Team A won the match so I must get 312 pound . But when I check the balance zero , I contacted them they said your overall lose is this and bet statements are manipulated.. dont trust this scam company . Its located in Malta.. gaming companys located in Malta are just phishy.. join with companys located in United kingdom..

Had a position on the Portugal Croatia game, I layed the draw late on, the bet matched and I yellowed up (winning whichever eventuality) Portugal scored which gave me my best position, the money was in my account then a few seconds after the goal my bet was voided. Unopened live chat and a very rude and arrogant customer support rep tried to explain to me about matched pending. I know what i saw and I'll never use them again. Judging by the comments in here I'll not waste my time with complaining as it's not worth my time, you live and learn

I met Jason Trost (ceo) at a conference – he was young, pretty dynamic and I figured that all would be well for Smarkets going forward. I seem to remember that their offices were open plan with a pretty relaxed atmosphere – anyway it is clear that years later that atmosphere is too relaxed – 'one hand doesn't seem to know what the other is doing' and my experience with them was poor and very frustrating. A pity because their software / platform is good. Won't be returning.
