Matchbook is a much underrated betting exchange with very good promotions and lay markets, which makes a great effort to interact with its users. I missed out on a 0% commission offer but a quick chat with them and they moved me on to the promotion within a few minutes. Great work!

Great service and a wide variety of events to bet on. Their exchanges for multiples on various days of the week are great. Any time I've had an issue, their live chat has always been very helpful and the issues are nearly always handled quickly and efficiently!

I trying to set up a new account with these FUxxxx MONEY BASsssdd WANnnnk. I SENT THE MY DRIVER LICENSE AND LOADS OF OTHER LETTERS THEY ASKED FOR THEY LET ME PUT £50 IN MY MATCHBOOK ACCOUNT BEFORE THEY CHECKED MY DRIVER LICENSE AND LETTERS THEY SENT ME A EMAIL TELLING ME THAT THE LETTER WERE NO GOOD CUD NOT OPEN A ACCOUNT.. SO I PHONED THEM 5 TIMES TO TELL THE TO PUT MY £50 MY BANK ..THEY SHUD NOT OF LET ME PUT 50 IN THERE SHI MATCHBOOK ACCOUNT THEY SAID ITS WOULD TAKE 1 / 3 DAYS BUT NOW ITS 21 days and no FUxx MONEY THEY TELL ME A CARNT IS BACK BECAUSE A FAILED THERE VERTCTOIN.. I have been with Matchbook for a few months now. Giving me enough time to form an opinion. The customer service aspect of Matchbook is first class, I have always had any issues dealt with quickly and with great response. The markets for the sportsbook and exchange are getting better all the time, there is room for improvement but i assume this will continue to improve. I am impressed with Matchbook and if they continue to improve on the side of sportbook and exchange, then i think they can make bigger progress with the likes of Smarkets and Betfair still taking their place as more popular for now.

warning… DO NOT play the automated Blackjack games on their website. They are out to make money from you, and are quite obviously a scam – dealer nearly always gets higher than player, or player busts – especially when you up the stake. Am currently trying to reclaim this money from the Gambling Commission/court.

I once used their site long time back and even had it verified recently i tried to use them again the customer service agent asked me to verify he only needs passport won't accept an indian national id or license and locked my account where as spredex verified me with the pan card within few hours without any trouble wish they could change their policies i would love to bet again on the horse racing market i believe I'm a good enough handicapper .

Trustpilot need to seriously investigate these copy/paste 5 Star reviews from accounts with 1-3 reviews in total.

In the UK there are from my own knowledge and experience 4 betting exchanges. I'm sure there's a couple I haven't used but my review for Matchbook and it's BLATANTLY FAKE reviews is based on the 4 of them.

Matchbook somehow has over 4 stars. Smarkets 2.2 stars, Betfair 1.3 and Betdaq is another one with BLATANTLY FAKE reviews bringing Them to 3.6.

Smarkets and Betfair are comfortably the better of the two. Not even a contest. Betfair wins that battle just as comfortably but the gulf between SM and Betfair bs Matchbook and Betdaq can't even begin to be described. Matchbook is dead and was even investigated for money laundering, in play their markets even on massive football games are dead compared to Betfair. Betdaq is very similar, biggest difference with Betdaq they have never had their UK license suspended for months.

MB customer service is also…. meh. It's not that bad, I rate their customer service above Smarkets. However it certainly isn't the 5 star heaven the fake reviews here imply it has.

For me Matchbook died when they removed a 0% commission to people using matched betting sites, although that was closely followed by their license being suspended for months so maybe it's the latter or a mix of both.

Essay almost over I mainly felt obliged to give an accurate review and try to highlight how extreme the fake reviews for Matchbook are. They are not 0.9 stars better than Smarkets, and they are CERTAINLY not almost 3 stars better than Betfair. I would struggle to give any company anything above a 1 star when they abuse fake reviews the way they clearly are on here.

I would highly recommended Matchbook as an exchange you want to sign up to. They have a simple easy to use, and navigate layout. A great selection of sports/events with competitive odds for both backing and laying, but best of all their customer service a smashing. They've helped me out on the few occasions I needed them, and they respond quickly and take ownership.
