Betway Review

Recently joined Betway, made a £10 bet (which lost) but there was no sign of the promised £10 free bet in my account. I got in touch with them through Live Chat and they said that my account had been restricted and I wasn't eligible for the free £10 bet or any further promotions. So after making one bet, which lost, my account is nigh on useless. I'll be closing it down and moving elsewhere.

Betway have still not processed my withdrawal after 7 days and have also not responded to my 2 emails chasing up the issue.

Moreover, when I tried to contact them via live chat I get an automated robot that does not answer my query.

Feeling very frustrated and disappointed with a company that previously I have had no problem.

I transferred Rs 1000 into betway indian Icci bank ac forwarded them the imps & transaction I'd too but the money hasn't been reflected in my betway account yet from last 5 days now
Live chat dosent works which states the volume is too high & they are busy scamming people money. You send them email They don't respond to your issue properly where & they send you back to help FAQs section & live support which sucks & never works.
Its nothing but an absolute SCAM SCAM & SCAM so dont bet on this scam site. You will loose your lovely money

Never ever put any money with Betway. I have been unable to withdraw anything and have had my account locked even though it was initially verified. Nobody I have spoken to has been of any help. I have been waiting for responses to my emails, enquiries for over a week. I have sent in documentation which I haven’t even received acknowledgment for. I can’t understand how it can take over a week to look at documents? I am so upset as I don’t think I will get my money back

Many silly negative posts on here about Betway not paying out on US Election. Many bookmakers have not paid out. Betfair the worlds largest exchange betting Company has not yet paid out and you can still bet on Joe Biden to be next President at 1-20 or Trump at 19.5-1. I bet on Biden and haven’t been paid out by Betfair but am intelligent enough to understand that until the result is ratified and Biden is sworn in he hasn’t won. There really are a lot of very, very, silly people on here that can’t understand that. Those bookmakers that did payout did it as a gesture of goodwill not because they had to. You will be paid out EVENTUALLY by Betway, which I am no fan of but must put straight the thicko’s who clearly are minnows and don’t understand betting properly.

I live in the UK and my concern with Betway, hence 1 Star is based on their ridiculous policy to restrict new accounts if you bet on horse racing and beat the SP. All my bets lost but I was restricted to peanuts within hours of placing my first bet. I suggest everyone should bet with either BET365 or Betfair. I have won amounts exceeding £20,000 on numerous occasions and the money is always paid. In fact last week I won £8,000 with BET365 and withdrew the money by instant bank transfer (4 x £2k withdrawals).

I had made 1 transactions using my State BANK account deposit on 02-11-2020 in betway , there's issue with transection and the money is not yet credited to my account or not in batway account, I contacted my bank and they told me that my money has been transferred to the merchant site, . It's been more than 20 days and I am still waiting for my money, please look into it ASAP.
Please solve my issue as soon as possible

When you see SCAM written so many times, maybe you wonder if those reviews are all real, they are. DO NOT BET WITH THIS COMPANY, BECAUSE WIN OR LOSE, YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR MONEY AGAIN.I put a bet on the 31st October for Joe Biden to win the US election, he has, weeks ago, and BETWAY have still not paid out, every other betting company has paid on this again weeks ago.

I placed a bet on the 2020 US election, saying Biden would win, it said november 3 for the time of the event. They now say this will be paid out in January. I also placed bets with unibet, ladbrokes and bwin, all of whom have given me my money. These people are disgusting, they'll find a reason not to pay you out, stay away from them.

My withdrawal is put on hold for no reason. My account was verified way long before the withdrawal but still they put my withdrawal on hold. Every time I am trying to connect to the chat support they are asking for new document. According to our Indian constitution whatever document were given to us by the government I have provided to them .I have given them Aadhar card(Works both as address and identity proof), Pan card and even I have provided them bank statement(Works as a address proof).Now they are again asking for utility bill, I am a student I don't have a utility bill in my name. It has been more than a week my withdrawal is on hold for no reason. Now i can't even connect to chat. While depositing I was told that once your account is verified you can withdraw. My account is verified way long before but still they are putting my withdrawal on hold and also they are not giving me the reason behind the hold. I think they don't want to give me my money that is the reason they are giving excuse every time by asking a new document. They are cheating with the customers and their hard earned money. If my problem is not solved soon i would tell everyone not to use betway. I have also provided them month to month utility bill that is not older than 3 months. In India whatever document is issued by the government i have provided. Now if they don't solve the problem then Its a scam. They are simply looting people's money in other words its a scam(fraud).

I thought this site was really good for betting until I tried to withdraw. After one day they said my withdraw was paid and sent me an email but I never received the interac transfer and their customer service is no help.

Do not bet with Betway, on the 19th november they are still refusing to settle bets when the market was who wiuld win the election! Many customers are complaining as Betway say they will not selle until inauguration on 20 Jan 2021, yes u have heard that right, a full 3 months from the count!! Stay away at all costs

Biden has won, Trumps challenges have now fallen apart, even with a Georgian recount going in Trumps favour, Biden would still have more than 270. It is impossible for the tables to turn now and Betway should have paid out days ago.Instead they are sitting on big bets, making a huge amount of interest. This is completely unethical and shows the type of company they are. People should not trust Betway. There are plenty of places to bet that are transparent. Do not use this company.

I withdrew $3697.87 pesos over a week ago and I have still not been paid. Most betting companies pay you anywhere between 1-3 days. I am sick of waking up and logging in to see that the process has still not been completed. This needs resolving ASAP!

Betway has told me they won’t settle any US election bets until it’s posted on the USA.gov website ( they know that it won’t be posted there until AFTER inauguration, January 20, which is 2.5 months after Biden won the election. This gives them time to collect interest on the millions of dollars worth of bets). The fact that they are willing to lose hoards of customers tells you how much interest they are collecting with your hard earned money. Tell your friends do NOT deposit to Betway.

It's now 11 days since the US election was called for Joe Biden and Betway are still refusing to settle bets. All other major UK bookmakers have long since settled.
They have continuously changed their story as to when they will settle and their support offers only vague excuses and copypaste answers that mean nothing. How can an allegedly solvent, major bookmaker behave this way? It is impossible to have any trust in Betway after this experience and I don't know if we will ever see our winning bets paid out.

There are two withdrawls which are pending from so long.
Status shows as paid on 02 Nov 2020 but i have not received the amount in my account.

17 Nov 2020 – I was asked to revert with my bank statement and i have sent the email as requested.

18 Nov 2020 – I have not received the money yet, I was again told that the Statement should be in the pdf format, Here it is.

This is the biggest scam of all gambling sites. I did not place any bets or play any games. I simply added my money to my betway account just incase I wanted to make a bet. Now I asked for a withdrawal and I still have not received my money. It has been 2 weeks since I tried to withdraw my money. I did not make any bets yet, I wanted to take my money out. Customer service was very unhelpful and kept say my information did not match. I even emailed the requested documents but still they do not want to send my money back to me. AVOID THIS WEBSITE AT ALL COST. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND WILL PRETEND TO BE DOING SOMETHING. I'M GOING TO DISPUTE THE DEPOSIT WITH MY BANK BECAUSE THIS IS STEALING. Once again, I didn't make a bet and I gave them a chance to resolve the issue. WORST GAMBLING SITE EVER

Don’t do it don’t sign up to this awful site. Slots and even live roulette are so fixed it’s unbelievable. The people who test these sites are either paid off or on furlough. I recorded my last session and it’s unbelievable 17 spins on live roulette covering 20 numbers and it gave me 1 spin ( lowest number) that’s not bad luck, that’s how fixed it is.

AVOID this app, there are a lot of technical problems, I placed 3 bets with a bet of $ 1000 while the next day I found that only one bet, their site is slow and for the cash out if there is 24 hours left before the start of the matches for the start of the match they take 15% as soon as you place your bets

How does betway have a uk license?. I was a member of betway and hippodrome their sister site. Whenever I won anything either one of them would lock my account. Which is very petty. Then unlock my account randomly and welcome me back with a email. The latest one is I won a small amount on hippodrome as my betway account had been closed by them for no reason but I couldn't withdraw my winnings. They had made it that it would error if I tried too withdraw. Tried discussing on live chat for like 3 hours various times and the stories and lies I was told were unreal. With all what is going on in the world this company is the worst in the business. They love losers. Not winners. So deposit here at you're peril. Total waste. I've self excluded myself now as I cannot stand the stress and consider the winnings gone.

I have never experienced mental pain with any company the way I have experienced with Betway. After depositing $400 to my account and sending verification documents, they decided to lock my account, for no reason! I also placed winning bets before the account got frozen. It's almost a month now and I still have not heard from their so-called 'operations team' after contacting countless live agents. My account is still locked, and I have lost complete hope, and I have accepted my money has been taken and won't be returned. Any customers reading this review, don't even think about using betway. They will take people's money and won't notify them about what happens to it. I am still waiting for my money!

Sir i had made 2 transactions using my ANDHRA BANK account on 13-10-2020 in betway , there's no issue with the 2nd one but the first one got declined and the money is not yet credited to my account, I contacted my bank and they told me that my money has been transferred to the merchant site, It's been more than 30 days and Iam still waiting for my money, please look into it ASAP.

Deposited £50 didn’t show in credit but taken from my bank account I also had £14 in my betting account before making the deposit which they took when I made deposit, when trying to get in touch just saying loading no possible way to contact FRAUDULENT site do not use

Put money in via direct deposit. Bank shows money accepted. Nothing still in account. Chat line and contact emails just redirect. This wont work for long once people read these reviews.

These guys are of low lives. They made me lock in my retirement funds believing it will yield returns.
I was in touch with their support team for more than 4 months, NO RESOLUTION!. This led me into Great Depression and almost killed me.

Thanks to my brother in law that referred me to Mr Willie via his email Gilbertwillies (at) aol*com that helped me withdraw not all but a huge Amount of my money that was tied with these guys

It's now been 4 months and Betway still hasn't paid me for the esports bet that I've had, keeps telling me the match is "under investigation" when every single other bookie has paid, what I'm assuming is that it's not under investigation, as it's not going to take 4 months. Not to mention if/when I get paid, I would have to wait even longer to receive my money, as always. This bookie is trash and do not ever deposit your money on it.

If I had any bad experience online its this website betway, they proclaim on their Website that "your money is your anytime and not linked to wagering", but they hold your withdrwls for months, gaining interest on the money and also lending bad experience to customers. The withdrwls I tired are not paid to me since 22 days for amount of 49000
