Avoid. I usually played on sports book. If you do not turn on the feature to accept the odds change its almost impossible to place a bet while a game is on.
When you have that feature on happens that your bet will always, or over 90% of the cases, change in the site favor. The most incredible is that the odd change in their favor even if the point is not done by the player losing (which i normally bet on). The bet would have to change in your favor and is not what they do.

Betfair exchange is one of the best sites for gambling on horses golf and football but after their merger with Paddy Power their Betfair Sportsbook site is the absolute pits

Betfair Sportsbook is the WORST bookie site by a country mile.Their rules are so ambiguous and pay outs on controversial events ALWAYS favour the site.Rules which are taken as "the norm" in serious gambling are ignored and never ever (not once!!) do they take one for the team so to speak like Bet365 Skybet Ladbrokes etc can ….I genuinely think the fixed odds side of the business (Sportsbook as opposed to the original Betfair Exchange) is so awful on purpose to drive business to the Paddy Power fixed odds site or the Exchange site

This might sound like sour grapes from a losing punter but genuinely I hold my own and the losses I have I take on the chin …that's gambling

So I will end with a concrete example of why the site is so bad …the customer support!! Calling is "support" should be an offence against Advertising Standards!! First off it's difficult to access second they offer zero knowledge of their own rules and even when you quote their rules to them off their own page they just ignore them.The first contact know (or pretend to know) nothing about gambling in general and then the query is passed on to the mythical "traders" …who you aren't allowed to query or talk to and who ALWAYS have some obscure rule to negate the payout that doesn't exist on their rules page.To top it off it's all done slowly to the point of encouraging you to give up (sometimes you are only doing it for the principle and the sum of money is small enough to shrug it off) but most galling is the sneering tone and "get stuffed you whiner" attitude of the whole support staff …I genuinely think they are sat there laughing and talking to their "teammates" how they have just screwed someone else over and how much their cut will be because of it

I've queried a bet on Bet365 many times and sometimes been 99% sure I was right but after talking to their support and getting a calm rationalised considerate reply or.set of replies I've realised my mistake and accepted I was wrong …sometimes even though I was wrong they've seen the ambiguity of the situation and paid me as a sign of "good will"

Betfair Sportsbook? EVERY time I've had a query it's been a no,stop whining you horrible punter and no I don't have to show you the rule why you are wrong so get lost!! ..type of experience

I left Betfair ages ago, but today a friend of mine has learned the hard way why.
On the Macabi Netanya v Hapeol Beer Shiva match he placed a 200 back trade on under 5.5 goals after the second goal had been scored at 29 minutes. His offset lay trade was two points and nearly 130 had been matched when Betfair suspended the market at 31 minutes. The market was not restored till after 50 minutes (meaning 35+ minutes including stoppage and half time)! A goal had been scored at 41 minutes, so my friend would have fully traded out by then. Further goals at 56, 77and 83 minutes meant my friend lost over 70 because of Betfairs incompetence. So anybody wanting to try Betfair, DON'T, there are plenty of other providers to try.

Its not a casino. Its a video game. There is not one thing remotely the same to a casino. I purposely played 100 dollars on a slot. I, for the record, played an entire 100 dollars. And did not win 1 dime. Even at a casino you would have at least won a dollar. If you enjoy getting ripped off. Signed up on Sunday afternoon. Didn’t take a bonus (couldn’t see one). Just deposited 40. Account was automatically verified by there KYC procedure so I didn’t need to send any documents.
Ended up winning 800 after spending about 20 on millionaire megaways slot. Withdrew 700 of it played the rest out but didn’t win much more so withdraw.
That evening I reversed the withdrawal as wanted to play some more. Spent about 100 of that and ended up winning another 377 on millionaire megaways again. So withdrew 900 in total.
Payments are processed after 24hours.
So Monday night my payment was processed just now have to wait for it to hit my bank.
They have good amount of games to choose from too.
No problems for me.

BetFair is by far the single worst online casino for slots I have ever used. You will never win. Ever.

Every other app I use, I lose more than I win on slots, but there are winning nights mixed in. It is never fun on betfair because the money is gone in minutes. Wins are small percentages of your bet given back. "Bigger" wins are gone several spins later.

I have played over 30 nights during this lockdown, and not one night have any of the games turned a profit. Only one spin in total hit anything substantial ($30?) But was gone minutes later.

The worst is slingo deal or no deal. The higher amounts are rigged to come off the board early. I recently played 5 games in a row where the top dollar amount came off the board on spin #1 LOL. Losing is one thing but they ever even make the games fun. Rarely do you get a night where you can actually play for more than 20 minutes even doing the minimum spins because they take it so fast.

I am not exaggerating when I say their slots lose EVERY SINGLE TIME. it is a donation if you are not playing the live dealer games or using FanDuel to bet sports. Joke of an excuse for an online casino but hey, gotta pay for those commercials!!

I only really use the exchange as other parts of Betfair group are heavily weighted against the customer. Even here I have been very disappointed with their conduct recently though. Several times I have had winning trades just to find that Betfair cancel them after the match settles. It really is out of order, they just make up the rules as they go along. To add insult to injury I also made a single error and even though on a bookmaker this would be considered a PALPABLE error Betfair CUSTOMER SERVICE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help me an so I've forwarded this to IBAS to investigate as I definitely feel it was unfair and against their own T+C's not to VOID the bet in question. Put your money to good use,, don't waste it using Betfair services. Avoid at all cost.

It is not your site if you play high stakes.
My account got limited after 3 day, and now the highest stake I can bet with is just 40 EUR. I won 400 EUR and that's what happend.

Horrible company, the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Placed a bet and logged off. That night someone has hacked my account and cashed out the bet and placed it against my original bet. When I realised what's gone on I contacted betfair who said they will run security checks which took the whole of 2 minutes. To which they replied no unauthorised access can be seen on the account and they won't be returning any of my money, even though when I checked the devices what have been on my account its showing 3 or 4 different ips from different places. One of them logged in the day I placed the bet, one that night and another the day my bet was won. Closing my account. They never done anything wrong as such but there are much better sites out there even in terms of UX. Odds are not even decent on sports. Hardly ever get a bonus. There is nothing personal about their service either. So what's the point in playing there? None.

I raised a complaint with betfairs escalation team, which was referred to their reviews team 9 days ago.

The nature of this complaint was betfairs verification process, as I was allowed to open an account with Id and bank statements, which provide information linked to previous self excluded accounts.

Since then betfair have continually asked me to contact gamstop (fob off) and that they could not review the complaint until the information was received. I explained that my issue is with their verification system and activating an account that has details linked to a previous self excluded account.

After emailing around 15 times over the past few days I inevitably reached out to gamstop to provide my data ( which links to the id and bank statement ) again this was not my complaint, it was a verification complaint through betfair adm simply activating an account that should not have been activated in the first place.

I provided the data 3 days ago, to ease their incompetence. I forwarded this to betfair 5 times, due to this incompetence. This morning I received an email asking for the details again. It's all to laughable really

I then went onto their facebook page and they could not help, as this case is with their "management" team.

This is by far, the worst experience I have ever had and I highly recommend that people avoid betfair and their services going forward.

Since virtually all sport has been cancelled Betfair must’ve seen profits plummet. Which is probably why now you can’t win a thing on the slots! My account was suspended on the 13th March for reasons unknown. They asked for proof of ID on multiple occasions since but my account remains locked and unable to withdraw my money.

The business wording, especially around 'special offers' are not written in plain English and unclear – meaning that its easy to spend more than you realise. Their chat bot to help with enquiries is useless and frustrating

I have reported the company to the gambling commission but fear my money is lost as they fail to respond.

Would not recommend anyone this online service – go into a betting shop instead where you know that you can place a bet without having to prove 100 times over who you are…

These guys used to be a decent bookmaker until PaddyPower bought them. They used to have decent offers and promotions, and competitive odds… now their 'offers' are really poor and free bets are extremely rare. Acca edge right now does not exist. They won't tell you… And unless you're someone going through all the T&Cs you will get screwed.
With the corona virus and a lot of games being voided… They will render your acca edge voided. So if you have accepted lower odds in case one fails… If one does fail but another game is voided… Your bet is lost even if all the other games actually playing win.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Their agents are rude, condescending and completely lacking in any understanding of complaints procedures (majority are unaware that there is a complaints procedure).

The agents are difficult to talk to as their responses are generally incomprehensible. Extracting any-sort of information from them is very frustrating as they struggle to answer even the simplest of questions.

I sincerely doubt any of their agents have undertaken any sort of job specific training.

I strongly advise avoiding this cowboy organisation at all costs!
