Betvision do not have a traditional welcome bonus like other bookmakers which is a big drawback compared to their competitors. They do have a very good site layout which is a plus point, but only have one single promotional offer which is “Best Odds Guaranteed” on UK and Irish horse racing. This is something you will find on a large majority of betting sites nowadays. They are a relatively new company so this is likely to change in the future, but they do not have a very attractive and compelling join offer at present. One of the main benefits of this site is the layout and user experience. The dark background, mixed with sections showing a white background and all main menu items highlighted in red, make this a very easy site to use.

Fractional and Decimal Odds Betvision offer the traditional UK odds format which is fractional odds, and also the traditional European odds format which is decimal. You can see an explanation of both of these below. Fractional odds are exactly that, simply a fraction. Could be 1/4 (one quarter) or 2/5 (two fifths) So lets take a price which is odds on, which might be 2/5 or two fifths. So If you put a bet on of 1 pound, you will receive back your one pound stake plus two fifths, so a total of £1.40 Decimal odds are straightforward and simple to understand, all you need to do is take the decimal number, lets say 13.0 and minus 1 which would give you odds of 12/1.

Live streaming

The opening splash page of the BetVision website has a very modern looking flat design and it only has two options on the main splash page which are Sports & Casino making it excellent from a user navigation perspective. It has a very modern look but what happenes when we click through to sports?

From the sports main page you have two ways of navigating through the site. You can use the top menu section to choose “Live Betting” or “Today’s Events” or you can select a sport from the left hand menu. One thing different on this left menu than on other sites is that there is a search box which gives you the ability to search by event, league or specific market.

The overall colour scheme of black, dark grey and red works nicely and makes it easy on the eye of the user. The loading time of the page is quick both on desktop and mobile.

All of the betting action takes place in the middle section of the page with a set of icons showing all sports available to bet on. At the top of this section you have all the sports shown via recognisable sports icons that can be clicked to open only current markets on that sport. It makes for a tidy betting interface and good user experience.

BetVision are extremely competitive on football betting. When looking at this years Champions league quarter final betting before the second round matches, we found that BetVision were probably 4% – 6% better than the mainstream bookmakers like Paddy Power, William Hill and Coral.

Tennis betting was on a par with many of the top bookmakers, whilst betting and prices on The Grand National were a fair bit shorter. It seems horse racing is not one of the better sports in terms of odds. Also they were not offering NRNB and were only paying 5 places when other bookmakers were paying 6 places.

A very solid market coverage on all European football leagues as well as leagues from countries afar. As an example they offer betting from countries around the world, including leagues from Israel, Turkey and Greece.

In total they offer football betting from 46 countries and in terms of market coverage on each game, you will regularly have the opportunity to bet on 100+ markets.

The live interface is very similar to the main betting interface with a left side menu and the main section set up in the same way as the main sports betting page. One thing that is different from other live betting interfaces is that they have split live into two distinct sections.

The first section is the traditional In-play betting markets, however, there is also a tab which will filter and take you to all the “fast markets” offers. It makes finding these types of bets very easy, and will make it very easy for In-play punters who like to bet on these quick turnaround betting opportunities.

Also, once you click into an actual event you will see all of the prices available for the event but once nice feature is a horizontal scrolling bar which allows you to find each type of market quickly, i.e. goals, cards, corners etc, etc

The interface uses the same colour scheme as the main betting interface which makes the navigation really quick and easy to use.
