I had a political bet running during the Trump election campain in 22/23/24. My bet was pro Trump. Suddenly the bet disappeared (together with other political bets) without any notice. My money was gone. I never got any response from their support email. Up to date I don’t know what happened. They owe me money.

Love the company, but it is luck of the draw with Customer Service.Over an hour today to answer a relatively easy question (has to be slightly complicated for me not to know more than some of the agents though).Must thank Luke to whom I was transferred after 50 minutes of getting nowhere.

Been a customer over 13 years, Won’t accept my out of date passport for verification, yet every other betting site will aslong as I give supporting documents, proved my address with council tax bill, bank statements and birth certificate and picture of passport and they have now blocked my account, yet its the same passport I used to sign up with all those years ago. Absolute joke of a betting site

This is an update to my previous review, Betfair have now closed my account and not given me the money I had in my account, I tried for four days to transfer winnings to my bank and the keep saying you can’t transfer as your account is under review, four days later it is still under review, Betfair now closed my account and I have no way to withdraw my funds, So I have decided to take this to the Gambling Commission and also start a claim at the small claims court, Betfair should no be allowed to get away with this any longer, Customers trust these sites and this is how they repay you by stealing your money, Please please if you are seriously thinking about joining Betfair.. my advice is stay well clear of them, look for a site with a good rating.. over 4.5 I would suggest, Betfair has 3.2 which says it all really, Keep well away from this scamming site.

I have been with Betfair for years, They have now suspended my account for no apparent reason after I made an enquiry regarding a free bet I did not receive after fulfilling the promotion they offered, I went on to chat regarding this and next thing my account is suspended with no reason given, I now can not access Betfair unless it’s to ask about my suspended account, I have done this three times now and keep getting told I will receive an email, the email never arrives and I now want to close my account and transfer my monies to my bank account, Betfair are stopping me from doing this, Please beware before joining Betfair that this might happen to you and it is completely wrong and unjustified, look around for a site with at least a star rating of 4.5 but please do not use Betfair.

If I could I wouldn’t give even a star.I’ve just joined Betfair deposit £20 played one of the slot games officely didn’t last long it was only £20 and then deposited another £17 pounds and I was enjoying playing big bass Halloween and suddenly they stopped me playing saying that they needed more information from me and my account was suspended immediately.tried to withdraw my balance I couldn’t because my account was suspended. I tried to chat someone but there wasn’t anybody available.there was an email saying they need a proof of ID,Proof of address,proof of bank deposit card,proof of income.Why don’t you ask about this things when someone joining or wait till they finish their game at list.i am very upset and I ve just closed my account after just an hour joining them.and never ever again

The worst gambling site online ,more like bet unfair casino machines pay very little and not very often ,if you place a bet on a horse race and try to watch it you have to keep connecting every 5 second really annoying, you would think the amount of money they have ripped us off with the machines they would fix the connection, just goes to show they are all about taking your money and not giving back in any way ,avoid like the plague

Betfair closed my account leaving me unable to log in. As my unsettled bets are becoming settled i have to go to help to withdraw any funds. This process takes at least half an hour as you are passed from pillar to post and betfair can not be contacted by phone. If my account is closed surely funds should be sent back to my bank account without me having to request them? Absolutely shocking customer service with agents either unwilling or unable to help due to not being up to the job. I have some screenshots which show many examples of this. I have a meeting with a Channel 4 production company who are making a documentary on the gambling industry and i hope to show betfair for what they’re truly all about. When betfair lock your account you are absolutely helpless in managing ones positions on the exchange as you can’t log in and customer service are of absolutely no help to you.

It’s a decent app and works well on Android. Their Poker App is quite good to. Runs well. Played on all sites and I tend to stick with Betfair and Pokerstars these days. I like the rewards and I’ve always liked opening Chests since I was a kid.

Spent £15 on 3 multiple bets was supposed to receive a free £10 bet but apparently I didn’t click the link to opt in, which I know I did, so cancelled my account and will go to another betting company. Terrible customer service with the chat bot bollocks with Aamir. Stay away!!

I have used Betfair for many years now. There odds are not the greatest. But they make up for that in promotions and customer service. I had a problem with a promotion which turned out to be my fault for not reading the small print. Which none of us rarely do. They pointed out my error but credited me with the free bet as a good will gesture. I was very surprised to be honest as I have only had that once before from another bookmaker. Most of them can’t wait to get rid of you but Betfair’s staff are friendly and happy to help.

I was dealt with efficiently and professionally by Josephine tonight. I am a completely new customer to Betfair and betting in general. I nearly messed up my free bet offer for becoming a new customer. Josephine explained to me that I hadn’t done anything wrong and turned my panic into happiness. The member on chat tried their hardest to help resolve the problem however this wasn’t achieved they are to contact me via email to try help me further but the politeness and replies were very quick and excellent and patient with my replies no errors or technical issues like some other sites and the response time was also quick and helpful to as it could be! Betfair suspended my account claiming i’d self excluded on one if their sister sites. (I’ve never self excluded from any gambling site anywhere, ever) After being passed from pillar to post for 6 hours trying to resolve things and begging to speak to a human being without success i said some unwise things in pure frustration resulting in the permanent closure of my account. I have over £25000 in matched bets on the exchange i am unable to manage or see. Betfair have added me to the BetProtect list which has resulted in the closure of all my betting accounts with firms signed up to BetProtect. I reiterate i’ve never had a gambling problem or self excluded and hadn’t had an account closed for safer gambling purposes in my entire life so why was my account suspended in the first place?

My account was scammed for £500 in September.I have contacted customer services so many times only to be told I will receive a email with their findings.My account is suspended and I have uploaded the requested documents 4 times.The company is a shambles beware if you have a problem you are on your own!

I was playing bet every year regularly. I never had an issue at all . It was even good company to play bet however suddenly they closed my account and they didn’t tell me the reason.
