I’m glad I found out with smaller stakes that Betfair can just do as they please regarding winning trades, and then retracting them. I didn’t expect to have so many issues using the exchange. Latest, I’d cashed out in a football game when the team I’d backed scored and went 1-0 up, the cash out was successful and price remained settled. A VAR check was then announced minutes after, goal ruled out, price began to drift back out. But I was happy cos I’d got the cash out in time, all confirmed and successful. A minute later, hey ho, my bet’s still in play and a negative cash out offered, stake taken back out of account.I’m sure there’s loads of small print explaining all this, and how they’re allowed to f*** people over and get away with it, though

After 14 years of using Betfair they randomly closed my account saying I had multiple accounts (I don’t – it was obviously an automation failure in their data architecture which several people have had issues with in the last few months). They have no customer service or complaints procedure, only a live chat filled with people who cannot help you and take 10+ minutes to respond to every question. I supplied them with every document they asked for and still nothing has happened. They’ve stolen my money after being a customer for 14 years!!

Outrageous had this app a couple weeks and make sure i get every promo spent £15 today to access 50 free spins won 5p off it and I also got a scatter 5P!!!!!! I have been a customer for over 18 years. I suddenly found I could not access my account due to self-exclusion. I certainly did NOT self-exclude! Their customer service is non-existent. They have no contact telephone number. no email address. They only supply a ridiculous chat facility. The chat facility means long waits and being passed around from one agent to another. I have money in this account which I can not withdraw. My advice to everyone is to avoid this site.

after being with betfair for over 20 years I had a query about online gambling, they were sometimes a little bit slow to respond but the customer service department were very courteous and helpful, and after being out of action for a couple of weeks and betting with local bookmakers it is a no brainer you just have to bet with Betfair.

Betfair suspended my account as they want proof of ID.i have been a customer for 20 years. They have my bank account details, email, phone number, address and I’m in the electoral role. I refused there request as My data with Talktalk and EON was hacked.Also they are based in a foreign country outside UK jurisdiction. After 2 hours of chat I managed to get my balance credit back. But after 20 years no more Betfair.

Betfair is the worst online company I have ever dealt with. I was with them way back in the early days in 2001 and they were a great, honest company then. Now they are transformed into a multi national scammer. My current account had several hundred pounds in it with many long term bets, when with no reason they suspended my account. Days of enquiring why brought no joy, until a manager got fed up with my enquiries and closed my account stealing all my winning ongoing bets. Its unbelievable. Complete theft, and they know they can get away with it. Betfair are a total fraudulent company. There really should be a minus 5 stars for this company. And a court appearance for corporate theft

Opened an account and deposited 25 pound. Played live casino and won £200 withdrew £190. Left the other £10 to play later on that day. Absolute scam company. Advertised a joining offer that required me to bet £1 on a specific outcome. Followed the rules exactly, then did not pay out. Said I’d deposited with Apple Pay and not a card. Do you think this kind of behaviour generates customers? Do you think I would ever use your company again? Do you think I would recommend you to my friends? Do you know what brand damage is? Betfair exchange accepting bets BUT not settling them after the official result has been announced. Customer service say there is a technical issue but cannot give any indication of how long it will take to sort out. I have bets from 22:03 on a growing number of markets ( currently 19 markets) that have not been settled. The time now is 00:00. NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Read a lot of negative reviews especially regarding getting money refunded. I did encounter a slight problem not realising minimum refund would be £50.00 so I deposited more money to make my balance £60.00 and then requested withdrawal ,the £60.00 was in my bank account within five minutes, fantastic service thank you.

I had an unbelievable experience recently on Prize Pinball firstly everyone knows it is impossible to win the jackpot as it has barely disappeared out of sight when the ball lands and it can’t reappear that quickly so it doesn’t really matter if they list all of the so called winners because there are no winners on Prize Pinball its just a big con.Secondly the ball hung for about three or four seconds like defying gravity before doing a sharp right angle turn and landing in the x which was the only x showing at the time I had to laugh as it is so obvious that its rigged to the hilt you might win 10p or 20p maybe 50p or a £1 if your lucky but despite what they say or claim no one will win the jackpot because its fixed to the hilt like everything else on Betfair.
