Just spent 40 minutes on live chat been passed from one agent to another, was going to spend some time spelling out what a terrible company this is but after looking at the last twenty or so reviews I don’t think I’ll waste my time agreeing with everyone else, they are a bunch of incompetent fools who seem to enjoy treating their customers like dirt. Take my advice stay a million miles away you won’t regret it.

I used to be a regular customer at William Hill, but I will never go there again. On multiple occasions, they’ve refused to take my bets on greyhounds, even after I was on a losing streak. When my bets finally won, they conveniently rejected them. This isn’t a one-off situation; it happens every time. It’s clear they only want customers when they’re losing, and as soon as you win, they shut you down. This kind of unfair treatment has made me lose all trust in William Hill. William Hill should be stopped from the patronising letters they send to people. When you’re winning they put a stop on your withdrawals and then send you a patronising email telling you that you have a gambling problem. They might have the highest payout of all the major bookies but they also have the worst service for withdrawing your winnings. Quite simply they put a stop on your withdrawals when you win and then send you extremely patronising letters telling you you have a problem. I wouldn’t touch William Hill with a barge pole as I don’t like the way they operate.

Poorly staffed betting shops. Some staff can’t even communicate in basic English. There’s nothing good about any bookmaker, but it wasn’t very long ago when they tried to provide punters with a decent service, now you can’t even get a price at the counter because the trainee doesn’t even know what a horse race is.

I was interrupted at a betting terminal today by a member of WH staff telling me that I was betting 30% more than usual and did I have a problem? This was apparently relayed to them via my ‘algee-rithams’. This was the second time I had been in the shop over the previous 3 weeks, so it was hardly the case, and furthermore I don’t have a Plus Card so they can’t actually have monitored my betting. I suggest they learn what algorithms are, how they work and perhaps even how to pronounce the word itself. It may make them and their company seem slightly less ridiculous.

Verified my account at the beginning with no issues, recently won over £500 on the live Blackjack tables, suddenly my account was frozen and needed to be verified again before i could withdraw, im now over 3 weeks later & still havnt been able to get account unlocked and any documents i have sent is either rejected or no reply. Awful site every time I deposit fiver I loose haven’t won anything decent since March last year shows how greedy this site is. i figured out why i dont seem to be able to make a withdrawl and win something.. the rtp is on a par with motorway service station casinos. 91/92% rtp is going to blast thro your deposit too quickly without giving you the chance for a nice strike. House edge is too big .. it used to be 96% and a 4% edge. Most other uk casinos are using 94% which is still low, while krypto sites are advertising the original 96% but then they arent regulated and may not pay out. Hard times these days choosing where to play.

i won a bet, they refused to pay me back. the reason they gave was because they wanted to pay to an account that was closed over a year ago. I explained it was closed and that my deposit did not come from there, they wouldnt tell me their name, they wouldnt discuss with me, they wouldnt help, i tried withdrawing to the account they wanted me to withdraw to, it bounced back (because it didnt exist) and now they have frozen my account with my winnings on their books instead of my account. DO NOT BET WITH WH – use betfred instead.

William Hill is nothing short of a scam. I placed an £85 bet on baccarat in their live casino, and while the bet wasn’t accepted, the money was still deducted from my account. To make matters worse, I won that bet, but they’ve refused to honor the payout or pay the original £85.I’ve contacted their customer service team every single day for the past 11 days, and all I get are useless responses claiming they’re “working on it” with no updates or timeframe.
