To anybody thinking about opening a William Hill account DONT ,I have been with them for a while and at first everything was good just havingy daily gamble and getting the odd free spins and playing the bonus drop ,then for no reason I get a message saying I am no longer eligible to play any promotions at all so I contacted customer service to be told I am banned and they don’t have to give me any explanation at all so I made a complaint and after a couple of days I have been informed that the decision stands and I can’t do a thing about it stating it’s a business decision .I have only ever topped up and have never won enough to make any kind of withdrawal so any money only goes to them ,well once I have used my last funds I will no longer be putting anyoney their way and again say DONT join William liar hills

I put on what I can afford to safely then take myself off for one or two weeks , William hill seem to have a problem with that , then restrict my account because they’re concerned I’m gambling too much ! What I think I’m playing safely to my own funds . They kept asking me to phone them about my account I just didn’t play on there , then miraculously they opened my account again said they were sorry there had been a delay . If you’re playing safely why are you penalised by having your account restricted doesn’t make sense

Awful company, with even worse customer service. Out of the blue told my account had been closed, and of course then could not withdraw my balance. Customer Service told me to I needed to upload id and bank statement to withdraw, which i duly did, only to be told they were not clear enough. Ridiculous, as they couldn’t be clearer and every detail can clearly be read.So I basically have lost my balance.

William hill are all about money. Ive had nothing but a patronising time at William hill. Because my account is up they started by suspending my promotional offers. Then they suspended my account and asked me personal questions trying to switch it on me because I questioned a winning bet they never paid me. I’ve had many wins over the years and had to contact chat to correct my winning bet as the settled them as a loss. Always check your bets! William hill are crocked yes 100%. They the limit my deposits. Then to top it all off after years of being a loyal customer they have finally restricted my account to a maximum of £1 bet. There agents are all ignorant and lack customer service and knowledge. This company is pathetic and any account that stays up for a year or two will be closed so let’s all give them a slap in there miserable faces and close our accounts. They will keep losing accounts open but not winning accounts. This is unfair and a law should be put into place to keep the dirty fingers off our accounts. They can’t take a loss but can patronise losing account holders when they question consistent loses on slots for example. Ive closed my account and can’t take William hill serious at all your clowns.

I have logged on twice, once today and yesterday. After putting money in my account (on both days) selecting horses ,then attempt to place bet keep being told to logon! I was already logged on ! WTF is going on with their site? ‘Advised’ by AI to download App. as I couldn’t get any sense out of obvious AI. Did that ! Same crap ! I’ve had an online account with WH for about six years. Always found them fair They paid out any withdrawals really quickly and offered great bonuses and free bets. Yesterday out of the blue I received an email advising me that my account would have restrictions placed on it. I would receive no offers and my maximum sports bets were being capped ( tried to place a bet for £1 advised it was too high. Tried to query this as I am worried my account has been compromised Can’t get past a chat bot which offers the advice of Your account has restrictions and try clearing your cache Can only assume I’m not losing enough money to warrant an account?

Awful customer service. Dont understand any of my questions. Deposited 100 in 5 payments. Then won 900 made withdrawal. No indication of where my money is being withdrawn too. Asked customer service & they suspended my verified account. No indication from deposit or withdrawal process. (Made payment via PayPal which also has ID checks.) No idea why can’t be returned same way. Just power tripping customer service says I have to give my bank statements & ID. Which they already have in file.. Another bookies to boycott. Happy to take my money. Not happy to pay out. Now confirmed they have lost my personal information. They want me to re provide this whilst holding my winnings at ransom. Unsure what to do as they have clearly lost this information. What’s to stop them from losing it again. Data breach.

My experience on the website was very enjoyable until I mentioned whilst chatting to some bingo chums, that I had my bank card robbed and used. All I said was, I was going to try to reimburse myself by selling some items, collectables which I had been planning to do anyway before I was robbed. WH totally took my chat remarks out of context and immediately discarded me like old trash. I didn’t have a chance to even say goodbye to my bingo chums 🙁 So apparently my account is still under review, goodness knows exactly what they are reviewing and why it is taking so long? I really don’t care about playing on the site anymore, they made loads of profit from my play, I’m just so really disappointed in their over zealous, cruel and cold hearted attitude. I mentioned I had autism & they then proceeded to ask for private medical details asking to know what medication I take. I had to explain my condition is none of their concern as they are not medically trained. They are legally not entitled to this information. Why are they assuming someone on the spectrum is on medication?

It was difficult to place a bet on the national (a simple video would suffice). Each way places on the Grand National were very mean. Wanted to start using my account again after a 1 year self exclusion on gamstop, talked with customer services MULTIPLE times and was told “someone will be in contact with you” but no one has called me at all, account was completely unusable due to restrictions. i must have been on live chat over 6 times but heard nothing at all just empty promises.
