I signed up for an account and was promptly taken to the main page and asked to deposit. I deposited a small amount, thankfully, and attempted to use the services. I was then redirected back to the main page over and over. I thought perhaps it was an issue with the browser so downloaded the app. I couldn’t log in, opened a chat and the bot (I assume) told me to reset my password, which I did but I still couldn’t log in. I reopened the chat and was told I needed to submit 3 types of identity verification and after reviewing the requirements I decided not to go ahead as I wasn’t comfortable with giving them all of that information and requested my account be closed with a refund of the deposit I’d made. This was denied unless I provided the documents they required. I repeated that I wasn’t comfortable giving all of that information and that I shouldn’t have been allowed to make a deposit if I needed to verify with all of that. I was not heard, not understood and treated poorly. The agent proceeded to end the chat. I guess I’m not getting my money back, again I’m glad it was a small amount but hugely frustrating. A flawed system, terrible customer service, I wonder how many times they’ve ’lucked out’ on people depositing but not ‘verifying’ their identity and William Hill gain all the unused deposits.

Absolutely terrible customer service will not be using them again. After using for many years they asked to verify my account, after sending documents over and over again they still keep asking for the same documents. Finally I have given up and closed my account. It’s real people on life chat yet it’s like talking to a robot .

After reading some comments I just want to point out that all online gambling slots machines are RIGGED. There is NO such thing as a random number generator. Use your common sense people. Why do you think they have machines that have to pay out daily jackpots at a certain time. They are of course RIGGED to pay out at certain times. I placed a treble bet that includead a correct Scores 0-1 between Botoșani vs Otelul Galați ,which was 100% correct.The other two matches hadn,t started yet,but William Hill closed the bet early and marked as lost,falsely claiming a tehnical error.After several complaints ,they admitted the mistake and even corrected the result in my account ,but only offered 22.97 pounds ,,as a goodwill gesture”,wich îs completely unfair.They denied me the chance to cash-out or let the bet play out-something they took away without reason.This îs unacceptable.They use,,errors to avoid paying on bets with big potențial.This îs a warning to others:they selectively void high-payout bets and had been vague ,,terms and condițions”.

They’re betting in running is awful. I had a horse who was 4 lengths down in the half’s furlong mark clearly going to lose and they had it at 1/4 in running. Now I’m not a in play bet player, but some are. It’s clearly cheating and they say it takes time to change in running. Soon as you start winning and are on a run, they accuse you of cheating and close your account.

Appalling company, blocked my very small account for no valid reason. When i contacted them they wanted far too much private info to prove my identity, really felt like i was being scammed, so i refused to hand over details that could be used for identity theft by the call handler. Don’t they care about GDPR !!Went elsewhere for my small bets, never again.

I am 71yrs of age and retired plus paid for my house with no county court judgements ever and only put on weekly the amount I can afford and soon as I start winning they suspend my account which is legal. They have kept my winnings and I can do nothing about it. They can stop my winning streak and I can do nothing about. Please do not use William Hill online. They have stated that my account will be automatically reopened on three occasions but my account is closed. Don’t trust what they say and for a big company they are scamming customers. Still none of my winnings returned. Why should any betting company have the right to track how you enjoy your weekly bet even at my age. I don’t drink or smoke and now I have lost what I enjoy most for now. Do I join another business. That is debatable. Don’t trust any of them. I placed a bet each way on a complete outsider, Lazy Griff, a few days ahead of Derby and the horse came third. I was expecting to win £122 but won only around £20! I asked for a data request for my information and it showed in black and white that will hill knew I was still on Gamstop and just accepted my new account and allowed me to deposit. I requested multi times for my account to be permanently closed and every time they just reopened it. There is no player safety and the system they use to verify people doesn’t work. Never playing this site again, at first you win abit then it just start taking everything you put in. Registered an account today, deposited £20 and within 20 minutes I was logged out, couldn’t log back in. Contacted customer support via there web chat to be informed my account was permanently closed/suspended! Why? Actually won some money for a change on the sportsbook, however all of a sudden I was required to show numerous forms of proof of address before I could withdraw. They made me jump through hoops, had to send passport image and driving licence several times, car insurance documents within last three months and credit card statements, which for some reason they also made me send several times. Took almost two hours to get sorted, despite the fact that I had all of the proof-of-address and ID documents ready, they clearly wanted me to just give up. Have used WH for years, never ever again

The William Hill app is probably one of the worst betting apps companies I’ve used to date. I’ve been experiencing issues since last month, and despite contacting Live Chat over five times, the problem still hasn’t been resolved.Each time I reach out, I’m essentially brushed off.
