Won and withdrew a good amount, within days my account was suspended for deposits and all promotions removed.Raised a complaint as emails they sent me did not make any sense.They have closed my case as it was sent to safer gambling team who tried to contact me.Still no contact from them even after confirming my number and available times to contact me.After years playing they do not care. Do not use. Signed up for a nice ‘Welcoming bonus’ of £60 in free bets, they make you deposit a £10 to opt in, they give you £20 in slots bonus however make you deposit another £10 for the other £40 bet credits.. I placed another bet over the odds of 1/2, 4 hours later after the bet has settled, still not been given no credits… I have been sat on the chat for 2 hours getting moved from agent to agent… Pointless in talking to them…

Located from the 775, I have used William hill for about 3 years now even before they changed and added their app to the App Store. I have dealt with many problems on and on and on. They charge fees for a deposit which is insane because the same provider “Cesar’s sportsbook” does not charge absolutely anything. Withdrawals from accounts take days which should be subtle especially if your bank account is connected and I’ve also had to call many times for online withdrawal issues. I have had to contact many times because of “voided” tickets which were not because they were winners, and ultimately took days to resolve. I would say in my opinion, William hill is absolutely garbage and that is my honest and non biased opinion. I would never recommend not even to the thinnest minded of individuals. Would never use again and will start using Cesar’s sports book because instead of you getting just summer reward points, your points go to a program in which you can acquire free hotel rooms etc. Sign me up!

I place an occasional bet, usually on the Grand National. I could log in last year so skipped a year. William Hill has now closed my account – won’t give a reason and won’t return the little bit of money that was in there! two ‘agents’ say they can’t do anything the decision has been takenAnd now they want way beyond any standard KYC info. Far more than I needed to open the account a few years ago. They want unredacted bank statements, photos of hand written names, it seems to me just to be putting as many obstacles as possible in the way of refunding money. Money that was paid in from the same account that I would like the refund to go into, so they know the details. An Ad came up for a great value bet on IG, so I decided to register with William Hill. I deposited a decent sum of money and when I went to bet, it said verification required. As I had all required documents saved on my desktop at home, I went to verify on there but it wouldnt let me. I then tried on my phone and it also would not allow me. It didnt even give me the option to submit any documents. My money is now William Hills account and will never again see the light of day. I would advise anyone to go to either Paddy power or Boylesports as their customer service wont reply either.

They closed my account I have withdrew 20£ they are asking me to submit documents for my money it’s a joke I don’t care about the 20£ it’s about the principle of hard working money . I use William Hill online via my mobile phone. When I put a race up for the odds I have not got a choice as to weather I want to take the price or the SP. I only have the price to take, I tried to ask customer service why I am not allowed to take the SP? No reply. I explained it was not fair to apply a rule 4 when customers do not have a choice of SP, still no reply. I placed a patent bet this morning and again no option was given for taking the SP. Just before the first race was due off I check my bet and my first was a non runner and rule 4 applied 65p in the pound. Didn’t affect me as it was my horse that was not running. Second and third selections have also had a rule 4 applied to the races, 10p in the pound on both. I don’t see how they can apply a rule 4 when they don’t offer the customer the choice of price or SP. My advice find a bookmaker that offers the choice. I am now going to report the matter to IBAS, may not do any good but the complaint will be recorded and put a black mark against William Hill.

6-7 months ago I initiated a case which they are “working” on. Still I haven’t heard anything from them, everytime I get in the chat I get to read the same responses. That they are working on it, which is hard to believe if there is no status update in 7 months. Also each time they tell me they will ask for a status update which never happens. I managed to turn a £3 win into a £100 win. What a score. Went to withdraw and couldn’t because William Hill had put a block on my deposits and my old card was still linked to the account. Anyway, I argued with Live chat and finally got my deposit limits lifted to register my new card and account. Managed to win a little more too. Withdrew on the 12th of March. Its the 18th now and still says processing. I’ve contacted live chats every day, raised 3 complaints and keep getting told that I have to wait for the Safer gambling team to investigate my account? Why? Because I won? Quick enough to take the money but keep your money held hostage when you try and withdraw. 3 withdrawals have all said “processing” since the the 12th of March. Was told no longer than 48 hours. Its now day 6 and they still say processing. Live chats are useless and keep saying I need to wait and be patient… my patience has run out!

I came here to warn others but it would seem that I didn’t need to!I do not gamble a lot, just every now and then and I have, since it was a thing, used William Hill as an online Gambling app. Never had a issue, always been able to access my account, and never a lot in there to be fair.
