On Saturday 22nd June I placed a £20ew Double on Jewel of London at 40/1 andHaatem at 4/1.Jewel of London’s sp was 80/1 and Haatem won at 4/1However, William Hills refused to honour their Best odds guarantee which is disgusting as I backed Maw Lam at 33/1(returned at 40/1)4 days earlier and they paid me at 40/1.It would appear they pick and choose when to honour their guarantees.My best advice is avoid them like the plague.

i can understand the reviews on here worst customer service ever talking to a bot they removed my best odds on horse racing ages ago and i never even won big now they have removed my gaming promotions cant see the point in staying with them so i am likely going to close my account with them. i am never experiance this with a betting company before they should look after their customers better?

William Hill closed my account because I had self excluded from Mr Green over 10 years ago. I still have monies in my account which need to be repaid, plus several ante post bets on the Euros. Advised to use live chat who told me I would be contacted by email or phone to resolve, but I have heard nothing after 4 weeks, yet I am still chasing them. Since Hills took their operations overseas, like many other bookies, they have gone downhill fast.

The service is appalling! They imposed a limit on my account and blocked me from withdrawing funds. I used live chat and spoke to Nigel, then to Brendon, the supervisor, who abruptly ended the chat! I spent over an hour with both of them, going in circles with no resolution. When I asked to speak to a manager, they ended the conversation. It’s 2024, and it’s against regulations to deny a customer the right to escalate their complaint!

As other reviews on here. I was asked to send in all my verification documents only to be told my account is now closed with no explanation given by their security ‘team’. All they did was send me a link to their terms and none apply to my account closure.So now they have very clear copies of my Driving License, Passport and Bank details, plus £30 that is left in the william hill account.Online chat was useless, as you could tell they just copy and paste off a script.Seems to me they just want those that gamble loads and lose loads. All I did was have little bets here on horse and football and do my lottery.Don’t bother with William Hill is my simple advice as its likely they will close your account after a while.

Cash out facility available on my bet, tried over 6 times and it failed on every occasion. I complained and got the corporate diatribe, ‘it’s open to circumstances changing ??? 6 times in 2 mins 🤣 and this is not the first time ! I have never dealt with such a tinpot company. I’ve had several online chats with them recently and the service just gets worse, I’m beginning to wonder if they are using AI to answer queries. Today I wanted to know where they publish the draw results of the Irish lottery. They wanted to know the ins outs of a ducks R’s, how much was my bet , the bet reference (not relevant to my enquiry). The answer is they don’t, something that I shall bring to the attention of the Gaming Commission, as I believe that that should do. It took an hour and a half to reach this decision. I was referred more than once to a website that published lottery results but not for the tickets sold by Williamhill! For all I know I could be buying tickets for draws that don’t exist and just adding money to their bank account. I’m now taking my business elsewhere.

What a terrible company! Suspended my online account for no reason (I have about £5 in my account). They say they have sent you an email but I didn’t get one and I know somebody else in a similar position who didn’t. They then require a lot of documents to verify the account (which they have closed), including a bank statement and photo identification. Sent documents several times and they keep claiming they are not clear enough. It makes you suspicious as to why they want you to show so many of your personal details. They certainly can’t accuse me of irregular betting as I bet very small amounts and hardly win anything from them! I know one person who is not bothering retrieving their account and thereby the remaining money will go to William Hill. If this happens with a lot of people…

I placed a +2000 soccer bet on score/corners/cards which I won. I looked at the app and it was graded a loss. I called took it to the traders. I was told that my bet won and that I should be getting my money shortly. I was never credited the $$ and every-time I called they said “yes you won and we will be regrading your wager” I’m writing this review after three calls (I’m still on hold) and I still don’t have the Money. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me with prop bets that I have to call and harass them until they fix bets that were graded wrong. People who don’t check their bets risk wrongfully losing money.

Only help option is live chat. You’ll battle the robot before being given to MJ. Hopefully you like short answers that don’t quiet sort you out. Because MJ will cut and paste then close the chat. Got an email from them today saying they are closing my account down. I’ve messaged them yes i was placed on self-exclusion voluntarily with gamstop for 5 years after I was assaulted having a brain haemorrhage. My brother registered me with my permission for self exclusion which ended on the 31st August 2023. It was confirmed by gamstop my exclusion period had ended. I went through half and hour conversation with William Hill safer gambling team they opened my account 48 hours later. Now just under 11 months later they are possibly going to close my account again. It’s now under review. I am a very sensible better and I have won over £1000 in profit while playing roulette on other companies, when I tell you this company is a scam using rigged odds I mean it. I have been a loyal customer with William Hills for thirty years. I enjoy betting on football and ALWAYS gamble responsibly. Last week I received an email advising that, as I had closed another account with William Hill or Mr Green due to being concerned about my gambling, that they had decided to close my account. I have since tried to explain that I have NEVER had another account with William Hill and I have never even heard of Mr Green. I have tried the live chat on three separate occasions to get this situation sorted but have been advised that “William Hill are doing this to protect me from irresponsible gambling”. I have requested details of the account I have closed (doesn’t exist as I have never had one) but they have refused. I have money in my account and decided to withdraw this and transfer my VERY RESPONSIBLE betting to another decent company but William Hill has decided that it won’t give me the money in the account. William Hills are an absolute disgrace and, when this gets sorted out, I will withdraw my money and never give them another penny of my hard earned cash. Been with a very long time. The site has gone down hill like all the rest. They need to start looking at the reviews and listen to their customers. Slots are rubbish like others have said. Beware do not leave money in your account- they closed my account without telling me and there was £40 plus in the account which they did not refund, when I asked for complaints procedure and regulator details would not give them to me a supervisor called Brendan told me I could complain to him but needed to send copious amounts of I d to try and get my money back.I only found out my account was closed when I went on the app to place a bet. Very poor customer care and sharp practice, glad I hadn’t won a lot of money for them to steal back. Also odds don’t always pay as stated and when you complain you get nowhere so give up.

First experience gambling on an app, was told to load £10 and I get some free bets… then I was told the payment method I used was invalid .. so I had to load another £10. I won a nice amount (£100) and then suddenly my account was locked. They asked me to send a picture of my proof of address… I sent them my driving license with my address, a pic of me holding it and my passport… I even wrote my username on a piece of paper and held it up! Ludicrous! And then they returned to me and said I needed to provide proof of address??? I have no way of getting my money back… huge scam. Avoid this company as they make introductory offers but if you don’t lose your money, they will lock your account up to prevent you withdrawing any winnings. Total shambles.

I have had a william hill account for nearly 35 years. A year plus ago I could not access it online. was directed to their chat bot which kept resetting my password, still could not get in and gave up as we were just going around in circles. Tried phoning 0870 5181715, turned out to be an overseas help line and they are not authorized to help with this, he directed me back to the live chat function on their site. when I asked for another phone no he stated management had decided not to have phone numbers. Service is appalling, I just want my money back that I have in my account.
