This organisation simply don’t do customer service. Their system went down, I tried to pace a bet, and couldn’t, the horse won. I tried to find out why the system wouldn’t let me bet, and it appears that it was a technical issue. When I asked if they would do anything about it y loss they simply said no!Surely an on line betting system needs to be work? Surely an organisation that lets its customers down should try to ensure that they are looked after. Not William Hill, they made it very clear they do not care. Use other bookmakers, they are much more concerned about their customers than this bunch

Attempted to create an account so provided all my personal information. Everything correctly, but it said it could not verify my identify. Odd. It also wants a selfie, so basically every single personal detail from address to full name to date of birth, then on top of that a selfie of me holding stuff like a bank statement! Even creating a bank account doesn’t require this much.Couldn’t login so I tried asking support, only to be told by the chat bot that I have to provide this! Never mind, don’t bother, but I’d like my personal details removed, agent stepped in, who seemed quite unprofessional. Who copy pasted basically saying they will delete my personal information, but they really won’t and will have it for 7 years!So they won’t create my account without silly hoops to jump over nor will they delete the “unverified” information they stored. I asked how they’re holding onto my data but didn’t complete the account, so chat agent simply says they’ll forward this and closes the chat with no follow up email or reference. Yeah right.Should have checked this before creating (or trying to) an account, no wonder so many bad reviews.

I will first write that gaslighting was recognised as ILLEGAL and ABUSIVE in a UK court in 2022. William Hill GASLIGHT their customers and are therefore committing a crime.I have asked for an email or a postal address to report this, but William Hill staff are so rude and cut me off, preventing me going through their internal processes.I opened an account with William Hill during the last international break whilst I was in a bar and unable to get to my local shop.On signing up, I was suspended until I provided an all host of documentation proving who I was. I found this off, as I am clearly on the electoral role. I would not usually mind, but the list of things for me to provide was a bit bonkers. They wanted my ID, proof of address, but also a selfie of me holding a bank statement, me holding a letter, at the same time as me holding my William Hill ID.I got my partner to do this for me whilst in the pub, hoping I could get a bet on Grealish to score before the game kicked off. This was not possible, as they weren’t happy with my MANY attempts to take photos. Things like ‘You are too far away, come closer’. ‘Now you are too close, go further away’ ‘Now we cannot see your arm’.In the end I went to the Paddy Power shop and put my bet on there. The next day I repeated all this ID thing, and eventually, after 10-12 photos, I was accepted. And could log in.However, after logging in I could not bet. They only allowed me to bet £1 and this is where the gaslighting started.On being very confused about the matter, I contacted them on live chat. I was told that the reason I could not bet was ‘due to my patterns of betting’ and that the trading team had ‘studied my account and decided I had done something bad’I told the person this could not possibly be true. I have never once made a bet with William Hill. And I had been prevented from betting since the minute I opened my account.I explained that I had spent hours opening this account, with all these photos, and that I had done nothing wrong.BUT THEY CONTINUED TO LIE AND GASLIGHT ME. Pay to play site. The casino part is very bad I’ve never seen anything like it from a bookies in my life. The sports part of their site is dreadful too most of the time offering lower odds than most leading bookmakers yet claiming they offer the best odds anywhere haha. Just a joke how bad the slots are. Been with this company for years. Over the last few years ive noticed that on certain nights the slots are relatively ok, but on other nights the slots are completely dead. Like you could play every single slot and nothing. Ive just spent 2 hours trying all different games and literally nothing. Its happening too often with this pattern . Million percent its rigged. I’ve just spent 50 minutes online (because they withdrew the facility to actually speak to somebody sometime ago) after the usual farce of speaking to Will the robot, I was eventually transferred to a human (Jonalyn) told to wait, which I did, only to find the query go back to the robot who closed the case. I went back on and went through the whole procedure and was eventually transferred to Rod, same outcome, reverted to robot who closed the case. I tried a 3rd time and was again transferred to a human, only for the case to be automatically closed once again by the robot. This is NOT a customer service any longer, they simply do not care and you can not resolve any issues. After several decades of being a customer of theirs, I will no longer use this company. Do not use William Hill.

After winning last night on a football bet I have tried to withdraw my winnings. Only to be sent a mesage about the card I am using. The william hill system wants to use a card which I lost months ago and not the current card I have used to deposit money with. The person on the contact desk is a disgrcae and has been laughing at my situation when I have tried to fix this. I have used william hill for years and I will never use them again following this as mat present they are keeping my money due to a failure in there system to update my cards correctly.
