Offered a £10 deposit in exchange for a £10 Freebet, never received the promotion, no help from advisors, kept handing me over to different members of staff. Such a mess, glad it was only a tenner, but will never use again.

Updated privacy policy with no disclosure they have updated it. Website footer updated with no disclosure they have updated it. Betfair are not a company , it’s a website only and the Betfair companies listed as having licences belong to Flutter entertainment. All companies became jointly owned with paddy power in 2016 when they merged. Betfair group PLC merged with paddy power PLC to become Flutter entertainment but your still led to believe that Betfair is a company of its own as they merged but kept it without even changing its name!. The new privacy policy confirms Flutter are using your data across all their brands and your terms and conditions even allow all brands to access your account! This won’t help them to use your data to prevent problem gambling they will use it only for commercial gain and tell you that safer gambling controls required on Betfair don’t apply to paddy power etc, if you haven’t been notified of the new privacy policy (date shown as last updated was 2018 which is wrong. Was updated after 25/7/24) contact a solicitor. If they haven’t abided by social responsibility licence requirement then ignore their terms denying liability and report them to the gambling commission.

Spoke to Lia today from customer services. Had a 2 factor authentication issue where Betfair expected me to give codes even though it was set up. Lia took the query, investigated, disabled it from the backend and gave clear instruction how to proceed. 4 years and not verified even after sending all id, passport, driving license,bank statements, bank card front and back letter of residence, utility bills….etc anything you can think of they ask for it….then they disappear. When they finally email you back they ask for the same thing all over again been doing these for the past 4 years. I think is a bot not a real human behind the scene all along i’m interacting with a bot. The feeling i’m getting is a program relooping itself.

Have been depositing and loosing for ages and they never got in touch to check what is up.Yesterday made a deposit of 100 and luckily won around 3k and decided to play on with some of that money. My partner (who is self excluded which I was unaware of) asked if I would open an account for him and I did so and he funded it to about £2,000 and when went to withdraw the money today,they are just ignoring us.He has lost approx £60k with Flutter Group in the last 2 years but rather than have any concern.they just aren’t interested.He is in a terrible place mentally as he has issues and asked them for help but the ‘safety team’ just closed the chat when asked for help.I am fully aware that people should not have duplicate accounts but with GAMSTOP happening now,many people are using their partners and friends to enable them.Anyhow.I think all the safety stuff is a ruse to find reasons to not pay.Won’t respond and Gordon Moody arranged for my partner to go into rehab.

To be honest I couldnt give them zero as there isnt one, otherwise thats what they would have got, what a shambles hrs and hrs of a merrygo round, CS farmed out to India and half of them don’t understand English, which is deeply concerning when you are looking at complicated details. I asked, to make a complaint but they would not let me do this but continually sent me around and around in circles! It’s a total disgrace.

Placed a bet. Virtually certain they changed the rules of the market after I placed it. They declared my bet a looser. I asked them for proof that they hadn’t changed the rules. They told me to go to court if I want to communicate with them further about the issue. It cost me £9k. Closed my account as I can obviously never trust them again.

I was lured to the Betfair platform under false pretences. They offered a new customer promotion of 50/1 if you deposit £10 on over 0.5 goals. The problem was that any winnings will be awarded a free bet. Fair enough, however I won two bets with the free bets, but the winnings are only credited to the free bets section. Essentially, the reward for 50/1 new customer promotion was to win free virtual money, and the winnings with the free bets are never withdrawable. Customer service are terrible, run from this company!
