I have just received an order of Suffolk shares to go with my table. Although I originally placed the order in July and it has taken months to get hold of the cushions, annoying but since Brexit nothing works-both the shop and the delivery men were super helpful which is very rare nowadays. The delivery men were particularly excellent and that has been my experience on every delivery.

The staff at Reading were so helpful. We live in S W Wales. A very long way from any of your shops. We visited Reading on our way to London and then ordered the furniture when we were ready. They made it so easy with good advice about colours etc

I recently had my very first visit to a Neptune store in Bristol. It was so relaxed and nice to just take the time to look around the peaceful shop. I absolutely loved looking around at all the beautiful decor and the girls that worked there were so helpful. I treated myself to a beautiful vase for my 40th birthday. I can’t wait to go back and get more lovely homely items

We have had the most superb experience with Neptune.From the care and patience from the lovely and knowledgeable Lizzie at the Winchester Neptune to the fantastic service from the Customer Care Team who organised a super quick delivery after we had made an error with our original delivery date.We have found that this helpful and caring attitude is a constant in dealing with Neptune.The sofas are also amazing. So comfortable and the fabric looks beautiful. Definitely worth the wait .We would highly recommend Neptune for fantastic service and stunning products.

Called the Outlet to ask about a sofa displayed on the Outlet website. The member of staff arranged for us to view the item the next morning. We purchased the sofa. Thanks for such an efficient, friendly service. The whole experience was tremendous. Perhaps the manager of the Bath branch could do some customer service training at the Outlet.

We dealt with Toby at Hove who was incredibly helpful throughout the purchase and delivery! We ordered the Wycombe Table which arrived two days later! Gorgeous table, beautifully made. Delivery drivers were friendly and put the item together! Honestly couldn’t fault the service from start to finish. And thank you Toby for getting the delivery done so quickly. Made in China but posting with the hashtag ‘britishfurnituremaking’ – only a tiny percentage of their furniture is made in the UK. NEPTUNE – IS THAT CORRECT? It’s extremely misleading. Their kitchens and furniture are made in China. I have asked them where they source their wood from, but they have ignored me – hence I am writing here. They recently sent me an email about how much they love trees (this is what tipped me into speaking out), but won’t say where these trees are from. Is this why their products are such good value – cheap manufacturing at the expense of the planet? Everyone has the right to choose from where they buy their goods, but manufacturers and retailers should be clear. Neptune have a huge social media following and with that comes a responsibility for honest communication. Quotes by John Sims-Hilditch such as ‘Oak has along history in British furniture-making’ are misleading if their oak or manufacturing are not British. Only the small percentage of bespoke pieces are made in Britain. I was tempted by their lovely kitchens until I asked the showroom manager where they are made. I hope, Neptune, that you can prove me wrong, or that you will now think about being clearer with your wording or, best of all, MAKE YOUR KITCHENS AND FURNITURE IN THE UK. It will be more expensive, but what price the plant??

Really pleased with the Manhattan square coffee table that I ordered on line. The item was delivered in perfect condition within two weeks of placing the order. The delivery team were friendly and very considerate when delivering in to a newly carpeted living room.

I had a query at the York Neptune store regarding my recharging lamps. I received great service and replacement chargers two days later. I didn’t get the gentleman’s name but he was great, friendly and professional. Delighted customer.

Having replaced our old 26 year old kitchen and had a garden room extension leading off it, we are now thrilled with our wonderful, new light and airy Neptune kitchen! The whole layout has been completely revamped and it is now a joy to cook and entertain!The attention to detail and friendliness from everyone involved has been very impressive, and made a potentially stressful experience fun! It seems that nothing was too much trouble. A special mention must go to our designer, Silvia Zlatnicka Reidy, from the Bath store, who has been amazing. She had so many great ideas, and with numerous meetings and correspondence she has created the perfect kitchen for us! It was a very enjoyable process and we will be grateful for years to come!The fitters, Craig and Dan, overseen by Neil from the technical department, were all brilliant too. Overall, we’re so pleased we used Neptune – thank you!

Great paint. I have used this paint before. Its durability is fantastic. Painted our kitchen dining furniture about seven years ago and it is still looking good.

I was given the impression in the shop that the duvet cover had to be ordered and might take up to 2 weeks to be delivered which was fine as i was off to the States for 3 days a couple of days later.However i received an email whilst away to advise my parcel was out for delivery ! I sent the delivery company an advisory to place in a safe place at the rear of the house which they did their best and placed on the floor under a tarpaulin. This might have been fine had Neptune packaged the Duvet cover in a plastic wrap within the box , – no only packaged in tissue paper within the box – It rained that day so the cardboard box on the ground soaked up the rain and therefore the box collapsed when picked up and the duvet cover was saturated !!! Slight staining occured also from the brown paper within. All in all not a happy experience Neptune

I waited a very long time for a wall light to be in stock, 12 weeks but as soon as I saw it was back online I ordered it and it arrived 2 days later. Product is lovely and good quality.

Commissioning a kitchen of this quality and complexity is something I haven’t done before and it has been a very positive and enjoyable experience, thanks to the highly professional design process and cheerful service provided by Patsy, the painstaking measuring and planning by John and Vicki, and the expert fitting by Toby. I’m impressed by the quality of the cabinetry and attention to detail in my new Suffolk kitchen, and was a convert to Neptune as soon as I’d looked round the Cheltenham showroom for the first time. Patsy listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve and displayed ingenuity in fitting my ‘dream’ Suffolk larder into a run of cabinetry where there wasn’t an inch to spare. She was patient when I changed my mind about the colour scheme; her cheerful manner and ready advice helped me greatly, as we were in the middle of a complete house renovation during the process. Patsy, John and Vicki all coped magnificently with site visits under challenging conditions!The kitchen was installed on time and with great efficiency. And it’s helpful that Neptune make follow-up visits a few weeks after installation, so any queries can be addressed. My husband enjoys the kitchen so much that he has taken to bringing his laptop into the kitchen and working there, which is the ultimate seal of approval!

I just love everything I get from Neptune – furniture, rugs, material, cushions or accessories – the colours, quality and style – but maybe just a little less packaging might be good for the planet !

Not for the first time, Neptune debit your account within days of ordering and push the delivery back months on end highlighting that orders and monies are taken when stock is not available within the UKOrder placed at the end of July – no communication until chased followed by promises of delivery in September, then November and now January.

My wife and I were struggling to come up with a design solution for the downstairs of our property in West Cornwall. We wanted a much more contemporary but classic feel to our living area, dining room, hall and landing. Having visited various Neptune stores over the past 12 months and really liking what we saw, we approached the Bristol branch with a view to using their interior design service and were assigned the wonderful Harriet Martin. Harriet conducted an initial video call with us followed by a home visit where she listened carefully to our thoughts and assessed the room for aspect, light and layout. Approximately a month later we visited the Store for the design ‘reveal’ and were blown away with the costed proposals Harriet had put together, which looked elegantly fabulous. Now, some 3 months later, the building and decorating work is complete, the furniture outfit has been delivered, all overseen in person by Harriet, and we simply could not be more delighted with the outcome. We were particularly pleased to be guided through the whole design, order and delivery process, total patience with any changes along the way, and a first class customer service. Harriet has been a star.

Home Design ServiceWe were really struggling with how to design our snug – we met with Helena to discuss how to create a cosy & relaxing area. Helena has been a complete joy to work with on this project. She really listened to us & beautifully captured what we were striving for. The finished snug is absolutely stunning & with the log burner lit, it really is rather special. Helena is so passionate about design, presented options that we wouldn’t have considered & incorporated a large old sofa that we wanted to keep. No pushy sales, just a desire to create the perfect space for us. We had a few glitches with cabinetry, Helena ensured that these were resolved very swiftly & didn’t either inconvenience or add to the timeframe.The cherry on the top was Helena styling the finished snug with a sprinkle of Neptune magic! I can’t recommend Helena or the Home Design Service enough, I had wondered if this service was for those who live in large homes with vast budgets, not at all; our small project was clearly as important to Neptune.Excellent communication throughout, endless passion & patience (with me) – Helena is the perfect Neptune Ambassador.

Purchased some of the Ashcroft placemats and coasters. There was a delay with them being in stock but I was kept up to date with progress and when I would receive these. Really pleased with the quality of the products and they look great.

What has happened to Neptune customer service? I’ve bought many items over the years and previously if there was ever a problem I found customer service to be extremely friendly and helpful. I received a damaged mirror however recently .”Eve “from customer service Neptune did send a replacement but this was again damaged and despite emailing photos of the damage ( as confirmed by the delivery drivers ) she is stating categorically that it is not damaged . Not sure where to go from here but confidence in customer service and willingness to resolve any potential issues with products has been eroded

We had a home design visit from Florence at Neptune Cheltenham. She was very professional and helpful and also super friendly. After an initial in-store chat, Flo came to our home and spent a long time talking through our preferences and making helpful suggestions. After that she produced a beautiful design with an itemised list of suggested furniture and accessories. She has been very patient with us while we try and finalise our decisions and is always very willing to suggest alternatives if we are not sure about something. Would definitely recommend her and the whole team at Cheltenham store who are all extremely helpful and friendly.

I recently bought a Suffolk sideboard. It is perfect. The staff in the shop were so helpful and informative prior to my placing our order. The delivery men were communicative, punctual, helpful, polite and took all the packaging rubbish away. Only slight fly-in-the-ointment was the lady who rang to inform me of my delivery date, she was most abrupt with an abrasive manner on the phone. But I love our new sideboard.

I had to amend my order a few times and every time I called and spoke to someone in customer services they were all exceptionally cheerful & helpful. It stood out from other companies I have used in the past. 5* !

I bought a large, framed print of an oil painting for £200 – when it arrived the print had captured what appeared to be inch long hairs or paint brush bristles in really obvious places against a pale background. I completed an online form to complain (no email address provided on Neptune’s website) and no one has contacted me a week later. Appalling for such an expensive (and frankly overpriced) item.

Florence at Neptune Cheltenham was able to arrange for me to have a bespoke footstool made – a Neptune design with my own fabric. It is beautiful. There was a small hiccup along the way but it was quickly ironed out and I’m thrilled with the result. Thank you Florence for your help and patience!
