On numerous occasions I've had profitable trades either voided or re-settled at a loss later on that day/following day.
Promotions show up on on the home-page only for me to click on and be told I'm not eligible for said promotion…
Customer Service is abysmal – a complete waste of time and effort. As is signing up to Betfair itself. I highly regret doing so and advise anyone reading this who hasn't done so to avoid them.
I have now closed my account.

Cashed out early on a game first 2 mins as I put the wrong bet down, lost the whole bet. Not a straightforward website won't be using this again, just a scam.

After finding my account was closed for 'management reasons' I complained and after a few emails managed to get half my money back – but no real explanation. So I complained further and asked for more details. I managed to get someone telling me that my account was looked at and it was deemed appropriate to close it and the money kept. I then asked for, in line with Article 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), for copies of every single piece of information they had in regard to the decision made to close my account and retain the money. My account was restored within 20 minutes and all money returned with apologies for the problems caused. After withdrawing the money – I then chose to close my account!

Please do the same. The number of people this dreadful company are ripping off is ridiculous. I hope you get some resolution to your issues. Unfortunately GDPR only applies to Europe (I know people in Australia are having huge problems too).

Account has now been closed for ten days for no apparent reason. They asked me to upload numerous personal and private information to verify an account I’ve had for 15 years! You cannot speak to anybody, you have to use the Betfair chat or tweet but will not get anything resolved as it ‘is with another department’ you can of course not talk to the other department. I’m absolutely shocked at the contempt they have for customers and as soon as I can get access to my account I’ll be removing my cash and going elsewhere.

Absolutely pathetic, no phone no to contact, thru chat takes ages even then they don't resolve any issues.
My account has been closed for security reasons ( fair enough) but unfair and unprofessional as no prior notification was sent, at the same time there are open bets on exchange which they are not even telling me what's happening to those bets as on exchange they can't avoid bets. All I could hear thru message services is that manager will get back to you thru email , in short they don't give a Fk. And have been doing what ever they want to do. May be because I was on 2% commission they can't take it.
If I have had the option I would give them 0 star.

I honestly don’t know where to start with a company that in the past was a flagship and had the world of exchange betting at its feet.
During the past few years I have witnessed the company go down hill so quickly in all Depts I.e customer service is so far behind the times that it is like trying to converse with someone on dial up internet from the 80s… the staff on the customer Online service msg have obviously been trained in the art of robotic answer and reply who some how come across as individuals who either possess low intelligence or scared of losing there job. So for the time being I am out. Good bye Betfair.

This company of thieves have kept my money for 2 weeks and areı ignoring our making excuses about returning it. They have removed phone support meaning that it is impossible to get an answer from them for days on end. It is unreal that they are allowed 5 to abuse and ignore customers

Betfair put incentives on to encourage increased stakes. My issue always seems to be on the offer of stake £20 in multiples and they will give you £5. It was previously stake £15 for the same bonus. Over the last 3 months I have probably received 10 bonuses automatically so about 40 times I have had to use their message service and get them to manually credit it. Average waiting time for an answer is 20 minutes so many, many hours wasted. If you have staked either of the above then check you got your bonus as I have had that many excuses to why it didn't manually happen I am passed believing them.

Don’t gamble unless you are FULLY prepared to lose your hard earned money. Simply the odds of the game mean you are 50-90% likely to lose your money but given the HUGE overheads many ‘chancer’ companies have mainly to do with advertising, I’m not surprised they try every trick in the trade to KEEP your winnings. Betfair isn’t really like that – they’ve always paid my winnings but I did join them a long time ago….

Not a bad selection of games, just a shame no matter how much i spend i never get anything free off here, all bonuses/free spins offered are for 10p spins instead of being at your stake so i dont touch those, and generally dont feel valued at betfair, many better companies out there just read the wagering requirements and spin stakes so you dont get taken by a mug for 10p spins when i play £1 stakes and above

Can’t fault them. At first I didn’t get any wins so was a bit sceptical of the site but I’ve had some decent wins lately and never seen quicker payments. Payment to my debit card was there instantly! Couldn’t believe it. No waiting for 5 days or being asked to verify a withdrawal with endless id requests. Good site, good games.

Please avoid this bookmaker at all costs, their customer support team treated me horribly and mocked me! Awful staff genuinely need to take a look at themselves, especially SARAH the customer support agent, worst person I’ve ever dealt with in an online chat! Awful! Heartless!

Awful company. It is such a shame that it has come to this. Looking at some of the reviews it would appear that I am not the only person who has been well and truly ripped off by Betfair. They will be sorry when they start to see their numbers dwindle. How a company in this day and age can get away with as many swindles on a daily basis as Betfair does is beyond me. I have been a member for over 15 years but today I will be closing my account, I simply do not trust them anymore.

One issue after another. Had to upload verification 3 times, didn't work, had to do it through chat. Then they declined my debit card & wouldn't let me remove it from their system. Closed account. More trouble than it's worth

I do not agree with your app copying from clipboard in iOS. My phone handles customers sensitive data and your app along with other companies are accessing it without permission when I open your app. I have submitted a complaint to the information commissioners office. You have absolutely no good reason to use this feature in IOS amd have not been given to use it.

Do not ask for further feedback as I don’t be providing it. All I want to see is an update to your app before you get yourself huge fines

I joined Betfair a week ago to play football bets on their exchange. Was going well until four matches were showing as "Finished" during the first half's when the scores were 0 – 0. The Cash Out function was disabled on all four matches throughout so I lost money. Explained this to Betfair and stated that I had numerous screen shots of the issues I experienced and they clearly show the problems. Basically, I was told that everything was fine and directed to gambling help page! They did not want to see the screen shots obviously. Shocking company with poor customer service too. I would avoid at all costs and I was a new customer!!!

Used the exchange for laying matched bets and later trading. Rarely used any of the other platforms as they don't interest me. Used a 3rd party API software to trade as the standard UI on the site isn't trader friendly. Generally great but the drop outs are a joke considering the money they have to prevent that from happening. Not good enough from that respect but overall enjoyed trading with them.

I've had 3 MATCHED winning bets on the EXCHANGES now VOIDED for no good reason. Tonight i had £23 on Simon Whitlock to beat MVG and they have voided the 2 bets and STILL NOT EVEN Refunded my stake. I had a winner at Saratoga on Saturday night too. This company is getting worse and worse. They haven't even emailed me to let me know of the VOID bets and also they have vanished from my transactions. I do a lot of bets on exchanges too and begs the question how many more have the VOIDED and removed and not even told me???

I have started using betfair exchange as I am learning how to trade during football matches. I have found the website and app OK, although frustrated as does not have all of the games available.

Recently joined betway and can honesty say I have no regrets. The slots are fun to play and offer a fair chance to make a profit. Payment is also quick when you do make a withdrawal.
The sports gambling site is also easy to use. All im all, no complaints

10+ years ago this place was the greatest thing going. Great odds and great customer service.

Then Paddy Power got involved the sports book got added and its become virtually unusuable. Limited to pennies on the sports book within days but still have the exchange but I've never encountered so many problems and the customer service team are so bad it's embarrassing. It isn't worth the hassle and I never thought I'd say that

In my opinion this is by far the worst online casino.
I recorded my sessions after I felt some things odd in the "wins" that you basically never get from games on their site.
I played several different bets on games, the highest bonus games I got was on a 50€ bet. Of course it didn't pay more than a 10x.
I got games on 10€ which gave me astonishing 10€,10€ and 20€.

The last and oddest was 3 consecutive bonuses on a 2€ bet which all gave 4€.

Of course im not expecting the biggest bonuses ever and all the time. But on several thousand euros spend and around 100 bonuses played and recorded, I have one acceptable bonus so far. Games are incredibly bad.

Second is the percentage of wins in comparison to losses. You see your wins next to your entire spending of the session. My average wins is at 10% of my spending – which is far from the mark that should be hit.

I was actually wondering at what point this actually is fraud.

Whoever wants to see how ridiculous sessions are with betfair, feel free to ask for the videos.

There are an absolute sea of betting companies out there – don't waste time with this pile of s**t. They rarely actually pay out the bonuses advertised until you get in contact with their customer services team which takes ages as always – I was genuinely told this by a member of their customer services team. If your multiples "cash-out" is paying out too much too early, rather than change the amount that you can cash-out for they simply cancel the whole cash-out process (making the whole thing obsolete). This is just one of the examples I had but this must have happened 10 times or so before I tried to figure out what was going wrong: I had 3 bets out of a 5-fold (£2 bet with £200 returns) come in and the cash out is working absolutely fine – showing a cash out opportunity of £20; as I watched one of the players that I put a bet on to score ripple the net – I thought it would probably be a prudent time to withdraw my winnings as I wasn't sure about the 5th part coming through at this stage. Yet literally as the 4th part of my bet came through the cash out option wasn't allowed. No, I do not mean that it was suspended or the market was temporarily disabled. I mean that the cash out option wasn't an option any more. I am aware betting companies 'reserve the right to cancel the cashing-out process at any time' but I have been a customer at many other betting companies, and not once has anything like this been done, nor have I heard it been done anywhere else.

Backed a dog at monmore today..trap 2 had 10 euro on it..got murdered at the first bend.trap 3 gets up in a 3 way photo..the markets pops back up on my screen with trap 3 at 7.2 so I put 50 on trap 3 as the video shows him winning the race. surprised the market came back up and even more surprised the bet was taken.trap 3 winning by a good neck on the video.
So I'm waiting to get paid or just get my 50 back..yes you guessed it took my 50 then the result on the greyhound app shows trap 6 won by 6 lengths my dog beaten 8 lengths in total .so I get on to waist my time complaint to their help desk with all my bet I.d and time etc,fcck all use..

Betfair have lost my outright bets, every season I place a load of outright bets on football for some reason almost half of my bets out of 40 bets only 20 are showing, I have contacted customer services on live chat who said that they will send me a statement of my bets its now been over 1 month and I have still not received it, I have given up with betfair and I have given up chasing them for my lost bets, what an awful company.
What a shame as I was really liking their mobile site.

After spending around 2 hours on the telephone with their customer services it's quite clear they have no idea how to work a rule out.. 90% or I should say 95% hardly know what you're talking about…it's impossible to speak to somebody that knows what they're talking about you cannot speak to a supervisor… Every bookmaker I spoke to said the deduction was 20% Betfair exchange to 70 but wouldn't explain it the s&p was returned at 2 to 9 they paid me approximately 1 to 8 even though Newmarket was formed.. this is the second time I got shafted with the rule for..if you can avoid this bookmakers as you can see by the reviews they are absolutely hopeless. I give Stephen francisca a good review at this company but they are no longer available.. I'm hoping to take the matter to ibis but there another toothless organisation

Account (uk) open for almost a decade.

Downhill since Paddy Power got involved. Essentially their compliance team is now run by brain dead drones from Paddy Power who have no idea of what the exchange is (or was).

Asked for source of funds – sent over 100 documents including;
-winnings from other bookmakers
-savings accounts
-property ownership proof
-business accounts
-personal bank accounts
-tax return forms
-letter from accountant confirming earnings
-evidence of in shop bets

Account closed and they are trying to steal over £40,000 from me. Solicitor will be contacted next week and will begin legal action against them to recover funds.
