Great customer service, always happy to help. I would like it if they had more markets when it comes to football. By that I mean more markets within each fixture. Having said that, Matchbook is an easy to use exchange. Above all, a name and a service I can trust.

Wouldn't recommend this cancerous company to my worst enemy.And I'm a matched bettor not a genuine punter.Outright banned my account as though I was money laundering, even after demanding selfies with me holding my ID.

Dont ever consider having an account with these charlatans....the 5-star reviews are obvious fakes....please please avoid this company at all costs....you will have no trouble in depositing your money but wait till you try to get it out...and these only want losers despite being an exchange....

Blocked my account for no reason, refuse to answer any questions, no reply from emails, this a few weeks after a KYC check. I've been with a couple of your competitors for over 5 years and you give more problems in less than 5 months. Very amature

I have been with Matchbook for a little over two years and in this time I have given, reluctantly, my payslips and bank staments and also set a monthly limit of £500. Again, I have been asked for the infomation but this time I am walking and going elsewhere. Levels of intrusion are a joke and despite being told its a regulatory requirement which is complete nonesense. Expect this to be hitting your mailboxes soon " Dear Andrew,Please note, as per our regulatory requirements, updated documents are required as per our ongoing monitoring. Thus, your account has been restricted until the relevant documents have been provided. Regular Recurring Income: - If Employed: last three months' payslips and matching bank statements showing the salary being credited from the payslips into your bank account. - - We also require last three months of your bank statement showing recent deposit(s) to Matchbook. We can only accept bank (or other) statements showing your full name, the balance figures and individual transaction amounts. Awful company made complaint about the awful customer service they closed my account good riddance they out awful limits on. So joined Betfair far far better matchbook hardly cover anything and betfair cover absolutely everything and every football match going and lucky to f matchbook cover 1 percent that betfair do and they don’t put ridiculous limits on your account. AVOID AT ALL COStS

I opened an account a few months ago as an alternative to betfair. Hadn't used the account as I was happy elsewhere, anyway I decided this week to deposit and use the Exchange here as well as signing up to a silly casino bonus for a bit of fun.All was fine and I had 2 deposits accepted and managed to have large exposure on the exchange and play whatever casino game I liked.I had a sizeable balance and decided to withdraw £10 to test withdrawal speed. This was back into my bank account within 30 mins. I then tried to withdraw £3000 and as you can imagine, this is where the problems began. I decided to get ahead of the curve and send documents before they asked for them.Fast forward 24 hours and surprise surprise my withdrawal is still pending. I also received an email saying my verification had failed, despite me submitting my passport and a council tax bill (the same documents accepted by every other bookmaker).I've been asked to send in a selfie holding the passport and a picture of my debit card. I have now done this but cannot get any sense out of anyone on live chat and cannot get this process sped up. No one will give me a timeframe and I'm just told it's "in a queue".Having read other reviews on this site it's clear that these are fake and they are created by matchbook staff. I also saw someone else pointing this out.Overall a very disappointing experience and would avoid like the plague. Betfair were able to verify my same documents on live chat and pay out instantly in contrast.Will update here if I have any more problems and when I eventually get MY money.Thanks

Matchbook has completely gone over the past few years. Beware of their email promotional offers! They are able to change their terms and conditions in an instant, even when they make mistakes with their wagering requirements. They recently sent me a casino offer: Wager £10 and get a £20 casino bonus with a 1x wagering requirement, when checking the terms and conditions of the promo offer on the email and website, it clearly states a 1x wagering requirement for a £20 bonus. I decided to wager a few 50p spins. And all of a sudden the bonus disappeared, I got in contact with customer service and they said there was something wrong with the promo offer. What they really mean is that they made a mistake with the promotional offer, and did not include the CORRECT wagering requirement. This would have been a costly mistake that would cost them money! Customer service said I would have to wait until Monday for the bonus to be reinstated (changed). There was no added bonus come Monday, and I messaged them again. They apologize blah blah, with some half-assed excuse. Instead, it took them almost a week to reinstate the bonus, and to my surprise when the bonus was re-added after disappearing it came back with a 40x wagering requirement.! This is dodgy, they knew they made a mistake and suddenly changed the terms and conditions of the promos. Matchbook are not to be trusted.

The lady I spoke to today was so helpful and patient and it was the best customer service I have received for many years. She stayed on chat with me while I sorted out all sorts of issues and I've left feedback saying if she was my employee she'd have something special as a massive thank you for showing the company she works for employees and trains very special people. This is what Matchbook is doing either because of your rules/laws, or they are doing it themself.1. 1 year inactivity fee (£5 a month until all funds have been taken, then it miraculously stops) 2. All customers must have a photo driving licence or passport ? (unless you are a loser ?) If you have funds in your account and don't use account for a year, they will lock the account and start taking £5 a month until it's empty.You can re-open the account by simply having a Drivers licence (photo) or Passport, and give them copies. If you don't have these ... tough.Here's some replies I got (probably standard replies) .. UKGC take note !!!......We wanted to let you know that your account has been inactive for a period of 12 months or more. Thirty days from now, your account will begin to incur an inactivity fee of £5 per month. When the balance in your account reaches zero, the fees will stop.If you have an active payment method linked to your account, we will attempt to refund your balance before this. To reactivate your account, simply login to Matchbook.com or through the mobile app. From there, you can continue to use the site or withdraw your remaining balance. If your balance goes under the minimum withdrawal amount of £10, you will need to make a minimum deposit and then withdraw that amount plus your remaining balance.......Unfortunately, it would not be possible to transfer the money to your account without you verifying the account. This would breach our terms and conditions and we are obliged to comply with the legal requirements set out by the UKGC. To verify your account, we require: •A valid photo ID (Drivers Licence or Biometric Passport in jpeg format) - front and back•Proof of address dated in the last 3 months (e.g. utility bill, bank statement, official government letter) - Mobile phone bills are not accepted.
