Very worried they are con artists. I opened an account and they immediately blocked it. I provided all the usual verification info and then extra things too including photos of me which no other exchange asks for. Then they gave me no reason for closing my account. I am 70 years old and they now have all the info needed to scam me

One star too much for this scam company, been betting for 6 months with them try to withdraw money now they want multiple id’s photos bank statements utility bills ! Absolute joke of a company. Everyone should refuse too send their bank statements & other id’s & put these shysters out off business!

Account put on hold whilst they carry out a review, what a joke. If you win, they will withhold your money with no means of getting it back. Shameless firm. Avoid, avoid, avoid. They should be banned. Treating customers this way is a disgrace.You’ve been warned people, they will hold your money and give you no access to it.

Great exchange but absolutely awful correspondence an handling of an individual case. Signed up deposited £70 for exchange betting off my Monzo through Apple Pay. Lost the total sum of deposits then deposited roughly around £35 more through the Apple Pay method again but using a different card by mistake ( I have multiple cards on Apple Pay so was genuine mistake). Balance is now £700 and matchbook conveniently closed the account now I wanted to withdraw the money. Requested explanations a documents to why the second card was used. I have provided all the evidence required an explanations, including bank statements to why this happened to justify the 3 deposits not from the Monzo.They’ve ignored me for 3 days palming me off via live chat a said within 72 hours they will resolve the situation. We now are just on that timeframe a customer service are saying sorry for the delay. Nothing but praise from other people which I can understand, but there handling of such a minor error which can be corrected an understood through the documentation I have provided is alarming .

Initially matchbook was great. Better than your regular bookie and the option to lay bet was so much better for someone that spends hours studying form but after a decent run they suspended account and I’ve been waiting days for why the account Is suspended how long it’s gonna take and any kind of information. I’ve got 2.5k in there and I’ve barely slept through worry. When I ask for information it’s like they don’t care and I get fobbed off.

Used to love matchbook. However took away my 0 percent commission because i accidentally layed a bet by too much and then placed a back bet to counter this. And they wanted proof this was a matched bet.

Your verification process was exasperating, poor communication, took much too long to process and I was very frustrated at having my NEW account blocked within minutes of opening it, not happy at all

Requested to increase my deposit limit by £25 a month. Matchbook support stated they couldn’t do this without a new bank statement and proof of earnings, essentially wanting to gather information they really don’t need. Unprofessional and would avoid if you’re considering opening an account with them both smarkets and betfair are superior options.

I have been using Matchbook for nearly 6 years and I have never encountered any issues except forbidding one of my favorite methods for deposit. Withdrawals are very fast. The only downside is that they could offer more markets, also, some of them have a low liquidity. Matchbook ZERO is perfect idea.Anyways, great experience!

My new favourite. Withdrawals are extremely fast though and markets not bad at all I emailed customer service during Cheltenham races and got a reply within five minutes. Excellent The only small downside is no live feed on foreign football unlike BF which is why only 4 stars.

Hey guys, has anyone had any issues placing lay bets in running and them disappearing..today I placed a lay bet pressed confirm then continue. At the end of the race the lay bet was missing costing me money …please leave a reply if this has happened to you ..I’m dumbfounded by this incident .to me it makes the site completely unusable.

Besides not having as great liquidity as the biggest exchange, Matchbook is excellent in every way. And their promotions are much better than the other exchanges. I hope they go on to become massive!

Joined as a new customer with the promise of a 100% deposit match and 50 free spins. Deposited £20 and got no joining bonus. Chat agent had the cheek to ask if had a copy of the offer!!!! . DO NOT USE!!!Absolute scammers. First, their “promotion” of 100% bonus on casino is a big SCAM. They say you need to spin x40 to get your spins bonus but you don’t, they constantly add a new condition and you end up losing your money. Second, they impose a deposit limit to you, without asking for your permission, and when you try to remove it or change it, they ask for payslips and bank statements?? They are not a loan company, these are off limits. If i want restrictions, my bank will happily do it. Third, I tried to withdraw all of my balance and I can’t. They want me to withdraw 1p under for “decimal rounding” reasons. Why does it show a certain amount if I can’t withdraw it?
